We enjoyed our 2-night stay overall and the property was as advertised, actually brighter and more updated than in photos we saw at the time. Beds were comfy, kitchen functional, views were beautiful. Check-in was easy.
We did have an issue with the smart tv, not easily able to find a program on a “regular” channel - an important live program (MLB playoff game for our team). May sound silly, but very important to us!! We had no luck reaching or hearing back from the property manager and couldn’t easily communicate with the owner. Luckily we figured it out but it wasn’t easy. This was our only issue. Overall very pleasant stay.

This property was great in that it was waterfront with beautiful sunrise views and sea glass in the sand! At first, the home felt eerie but by morning, we felt that the house was quaint and private with wonderful sunlight entering through the windows. The sounds of waves and seagulls was a huge plus! We had a much more comfortable second day than we did the first, but I think that may have been due to the darkness on arrival, eeriness of the basement, and how dated the home was. But it was actually very unique. There was a full bathroom and kitchen with nearly everything that you needed to make a basic meal. The check-in process was easy and the washer and dryer were convenient to our stay. I can’t say that the area offered very much, but that was perfectly fine for us, as we prefer to stay in secluded areas like this one, where we can unwind and relax.

It’s a well appointed cabin in a very quiet place. The hot tub is nice. Great place to see stars at night, very little light pollution.

We enjoyed our stay in Tremont. The unit is right on a bay. Weather didn't permit, but the color after sunsets can be beautiful. Mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee is very nice.

This was perfect for our trip to Acadia National Park. It was comfortable and had all we needed for a quick breakfast before heading to the park. Once back from a day of biking and hiking the hot tub was a welcome experience. We enjoyed spending time on the deck watching the shore birds. A minor problem upon arrival was quickly rectified by the host and caretaker.

The setting was beautiful, but the house left a lot to be desired. Advertised as 6 person accommodation, but only three Victorian style chairs ( not very sturdy) at the kitchen table. Four out of five pieces of furniture in the living room, were old style Victorian pieces, that were very uncomfortable to spend any amount of time trying to relax in. The knobs on the closet in the bedrooms came off when trying to open the doors. The beds were comfortable but were unusually high, making it difficult to get into. Minimal hooks and racks in bathroom to hang towels, and the shower curtain had holes in it. Even though the setting was beautiful, the other issues would outweigh our staying here again. This place needs work and some love from the owner.

Beautiful location. When tide was low we got shells. We also saw 2 deer. It was amazing

Missing smoke alarm. CO alarm on table. Broken chair in kitchen, kitchen was poorly and cheaply outfitted, dryer full of laundry, basement very moldy smelling so wife could not do laundry even if dryer had been empty, three closet door knobs came off when opening the doors, bath soap empty, bath sink not very usable, freezer gasket loose and freezer all frosted up and hard to open, no face cloths, no pepper or salt shakers, dust and doghair under beds, sign actually says to not throw toilet paper in toilet! Internet was decent once you figured out the SSID and password were not written down properly. Hot tub was too dirty to use. Home is for sale but can't imagine not having it in better shape for that alone, much less renting for the price they got per night counting cleaning fees that don't seem to have been well spent. Location and view were fine but property condition weighed on that heavily...

We have never been to the Acadia Area and were looking for a waterfront property for the long Labor Day weekend. I found this listing and made my reservation with no issues. We arrived at around 4:00 PM and the unit was ready for us. This unit is a nice 2 bedroom/1 bath as seen in the pictures and the waterfront location exceeded my expectations.
Only issue we had was that the beds are really tall and one member of our party was not able to climb up so they ended up sleeping on the pull out couch. The host responded to my questions quickly and was very helpful. We think we left an item behind and the host has graciously agreed to go to the unit to look for it.
Overall: We really enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet location right on the water. Just what we were looking for. My favorite was the deck overlooking the ocean and the big window in the living room.
Comment for the host: Please check the pink paper on the refrigerator listing the wifi password. We were unable to connect to the wifi using the password listed on the pink sheet. After some fiddling around we figured out that the first letter on the password should be in lower case instead of UPPER case.

Lovely, relaxing stay, thank you! Great location and view and unique furniture was fun.
Property needs some work to be rented at this price though. Exterior paint peaking badly, dining room chair completely broken at checkin, closet and kitchen door handles fall off when you open them. Some kid of (dead) bugs nest over the hot tub.
Instructions not to flush toilet paper?!?!
House shouldn’t be rented if the septic doesn’t work well enough to flush TP.

This is a lovely waterfront cottage. I wished we spent more time in it. It was cozy and just how you would imagine a country cottage to be. It's conveniently located to everything but nice and quiet.

This was the perfect location for our stay! Just a few short miles from family, amazing water location and the price was very reasonable! The rooms were perfect as we were celebrating the life of my mother in law that was born and raised very close by the property.
A highly recommended slice of heaven with the perfect amount of privacy and being detached from everything while still being close to what we needed!
A place in which we would love to call home and were happy to be able to do so for a weekend! Highly recommended! Check in was a breeze and an extra key was there which was awesome! We appreciate the sharing of the home with us for the weekend! Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were so pleased with our recent stay here! Close enough to all the main attractions of Bar Harbor and Acadia but far enough away for peace and quiet. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property!

House was overall as presented in pictures; one of the windows on an outside secondary door (inner main door was fine) was broken when we got there, and we had to clean up some broken glass which wasn't great. Additionally, beds and doors were extremely creaky+loud, easy to wake up sleepers in other rooms.
Overall was fine, but those were both not enjoyable factors.

Smelling the Atlantic salty breeze as the tides ebb and flow is the greeting you’ll receive!!! Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, enjoy spectacular sunrises, amazing bird watching and sounds, situated in the most pleasant and quaint cove!!! The morning sun fills the living room and there’s nothing better than enjoying a good book on the couch before the day begins! Amazing situated to all Acadia park attractions and the wonderful southwest harbor villages!!! Thank you for a beautiful stay!!!
