didn't realize how inaccessible the city was from hotel. SO many stairs.
hotel smelled damp and musty.

location, breakfast
outdated, too expensive, rude staff, no ammenities, extra charges for everything, inconvenient
4.5 / 5.0
Excellent location on the top of Positano - so it is a walk to town and beach, but we’ll worth it. First, during the walk through the hidden alley ways you get to explore Positano. Second, be Ayse it is on top, you have fantastic views.
Furniture and room amenities like A/C are outdated, so it feels a little run down. it this is compensated by great staff and the overall value of the place!
2.5 / 5.0
you are allowed to park a car on site for an extra cost but worth it.
it seemed run down the tennis courts aren’t functional. The restaurant states you can’t wear shorts to dinner but it is not a fancy place and the food is kinda okay. The pool was closed because it doesn’t open I til June 2 which we missed by just a couple of days.

Pool was closed for maintenance

The size of the room was good and the on site parking was great, the views from the hotel is not the best in Positano but everything in Positano is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and helpfull
The hotel needs updating, the carpets on the floor are in bad condition and the cleanliness of the room and especially the bathroom needs to be better

the location was amazing and right in the middle of positano, gorgeous view and great restaurants all around. 20 minute walk down to the main beach.
We were not aware that the two bedroom apartment would have one nice luxury bed and the other would be a small pull out with a very thin mattress. Having the second bed upgraded to match the first one would make this property a 10/10!

The views from the hotel were great.
The breakfast was AWFUL we were nearly sick at the sight of the eggs. The hotel is terrible to navigate it’s like a maze and smells musty. All the plugs in the room were either hanging off or didn’t work. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest. When booking this hotel there was NO mention that you have to walk 399 steps up the side of the hill to get to it.

Everything was good

The room was ok nothing special, the view from the room was excellent and the size of the room was good.
old rooms and bathrooms, AC not working properly, i think there were bedbugs but not sure as I ended up having rashes on my head after the stay, but not sure what caused it.

Beautiful view, friendly staff
4.5 / 5.0
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Made our visit so easy. The room was perfect for a large family.
hiking back up to the hotel at the top of the hill, after a day of sightseeing, could be a bit challenging
5.0 / 5.0
Extremely friendly staff, comfortable bed, good shower, nice and spacious room with beautiful view even though not directly looking out directly towards the sea, very good coffee
The only reservation I would have about this hotel is the breakfast buffet. For 25€ per person it was a bit disappointing, and for this price we were expecting more variety and for example cooked items

amazing view and rooms we spacious
we found bed begs though on the first night and I was not fully relaxed the whole trip.
4.5 / 5.0
perfect hotel, with absolutely breathtaking views of positano, really spacious room with beautiful balcony. Pool is also really enjoyable as the beach is a good bit away, with lots of steps involved !
only downside would be the walk to the beach/town involving many steps, other than that a perfect hotel !

Breakfast was good very pleasant dinning area. Very disappointed with our room. Very dated the bathroom was horrible with broken shower head, dodgy tap and broken plug when reporting issues we were told we had one of the best rooms! Repairs were done but clearly needed renewal not repair. Although our stay was 7 days we were unable to unpack as the wardrobe and shelves were tiny and completely inadequate. The pool area was good very clean and pool bar was great for lunch. Nice clean toilets too.

absouletely I did not like anything about it
rude receptionist , bad breakfast , dirty room and there is a lots of creature in the room like mos yo-yo, spider , and many many ants

the staffs. everybody was very nice and friendly.
nothing really

Room was spacious
Location on booking platform says 350m, this must be a 350m direct drop from the property window! Very false. Pictures need updated as they do not correctly depict the state of the property as it lies now. Definitely not 4 stars, no assistance with luggage. Bad smell in room.

The room was really clean and comfortable. The location is decent if you take the stairs.
The pool is big and there is a lot of seating. The breakfast is convenient.
The view from our room was all of the positano valley and very beautiful.
The service of the employees is lacking. Some variety in the breakfast would be nice (same for 5 days straight). The stairs take 15 min up and down and we were quite winded but found out there is a shuttle every hour you could take. There are quite a few “rules” at this hotel and things like the pool, snack bar and breakfast close on the exact hour, where it feels less like we are guests and more nuisances. The pool needs major work and updating.

the location was good with a pleasant view from the rooftop bar and with the bus stop right in front of the hotel.
it needs to be renovated as it is very old with extremely old furniture.
The shower was blocked and the water would overflow.
there was a constant bad smell in the room.
we could hear many noises from the corridor and even from the neighbouring room.
the breakfast was very poor with very few options.
it is very expensive for what it had to offer.
the pictures in booking.com did not represent the reality and how the room actually looked like.
3.5 / 5.0
Hotel is in a nice location in the hills, very friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast, great views from the room..
Hotel needs renovation, wouldn't consider it a 4 star. It has tonnes of potential but the rooms and hotel as a whole drastically needs updating as it is very expensive for what it is. Stayed in a 4 star hotel in Capri for a few nights before coming here and it was like a completely different experience in terms of the quality of the facilities. I feel it needs to be bumped to a 3 star. We enjoyed our time in Positano as we spent very little time in the hotel but if we were staying longer and spending more time lounging by the pool etc I feel we would have been slightly let down.

Super unfriendly blond Lady serving breakfast. 400(!) Steps to the Center. Pool was closed. Tennis was closed. 30 eur for car parking per day.
Room was large.
