We have stayed at Alcala Motor Lodge quite a few times over a number of years and the service is consistently good, polite, and rooms always comfortable, warm and clean.

we stayed in apartment 21, everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay, awesome location really close to city centre
if anything, there was a constant hissing sound that seemed to come from a plumbing pipe that leaked, but really not a big issue.

Always like to stay here. Staff are super friendly and helpful. This was the only place I stayed where they actually turned the heater on before my arrival so the room was warm and snuggly when I got there

The room was spaces and clean but the electric supply is limited. If you use the kitchen stove the electric supply for the heater in the room cannot be used.
The electric supply is limited. If you use the kitchen stove , the electric supply for the heater in the room cannot be used. We ended up sleeping in cold.

The room was clean and well equipped. My children loved the mezzanine part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall we were very happy.
A bit more shower pressure would've been great.

Great location.
Nothing.

Friendly welcome. Room was large with a separate kitchen. The mezzanine allowed space for our adult son who was staying with us. The Motel was an older style but clean and comfy and good value for money.

really could do with updating a little, bedding ok but seemed a little worn

Lovely Motor Lodge. Little dated but very clean, spacious and well stocked. Great location with lovely friendly staff. Great value for money.
Not needed on this visit but on a previous stay here not enough parking, but otherwise cannot fault.

Close to town, they made up the room each day
The unit smelt of mould coming from the bathroom

Room was big enough for the three of us. Lots of power outlets to charge our phones and IPADs. Loved the bath. Close to town so we could pop out for something to eat. Even though we didnt eat them it was a nice touch to have biscuits included with the coffee and tea box. Really only need a place to sleep for one night, so suited us perfectly. Host was very friendly and obliging.
Didn't like the stairs to access the beds on the mezzanine floor. Quite steep and narrow. Shower pressure was terrible.
