my wife and i stayed at the cabin for 5 nights in august.
we were impressed with the cabin, the lake, the area, and the owners. overall, one of the nicest properties we've rented and we would not hesitate staying again in the future.

My boyfriend and I decided to rent this property for LDW. The home was very clean and modern, but still had a nice cabin feel. The location was perfect. We felt secluded, but still close to town. We used the kayaks every day and loved how clean and low traffic the lake was. There is a fire pit on property and board games. Also, if you’re not into kayak or canoeing, there are chairs at the end of the pier to enjoy the water. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Fond Du Lac look no further than this place. Don and his wife Beth were very kind and we loved our weekend getaway.

Beautiful 2-bedroom log cabin on a quiet lake. Only an hour from Milwaukee. Perfect for an unplugged getaway to recharge our batteries. Enjoyed reading by the gas fireplace, walking in the neighborhood, making & eating our meals (kitchen had everything we needed). Wished we had sunshine and warmer temps so we could have canoed on the lake. Look forward to coming back!

Was looking for a cozy winter cabin an easy drive from Chicago and this checked all the boxes. Very safe, quiet area just steps from the lake and hardly ever heard a passing car.

Clean, comfortable, everything works, cozy, lovely location.
We stayed here with our 11 year-old daughter during the holidays while visiting nearby family.
This is a charming cabin. Perfect for our stay.

A friend and I stayed 3 nights this weekend. The cottage is darling. So nicely decorated. Kitchen was better equipped than mine at home!.. Everything was very clean. The view to the lake and the patio are great! I kayaked and my friend fished. The bed was super comfortable and I slept so well. Great area for hiking and sight seeing. We went to an Octoberfest and a concer at a winery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh. It was the perfect accommodations for us airplane nerds and had a wonderful time. We did not spend much time at the cabin due to our time at the show, but it would also be a great place to just get away and relax. The lake property is awesome - small, but still large enough to get out and have some fun. The cabin is in great condition, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of hot water for all the guests to shower, plenty of towels and sheets. I really can't think of anything negative to say. So I won't! Great place, and I hope to have a chance to return. Thanks Don!

The home was beautiful and the view phenomenal. There were 3 kayaks to use and a row boat. It was very quiet and the back patio was where we spent most of our time with a fire. The AC once I figured it out (should have contacted the owners but didn’t and that was my bad) worked VERY well.
The only thing that stopped this from being a full 5 star rating was that the mattresses were extremely firm and hard to get a good night sleep.
Thank you so much for the stay and would definitely reccommend.

My family had a great time, Don & Beth answered all my questions in a timely manner and anticipate it all of our needs , that allowed me to plan my trip better, once there we were impressed by the cabin set up,the Lake was just amazing and peaceful, that is what we were looking for, a time away from the daily buzz of our day to day life in the city, thank you for a wonderful experience

My wife and I enjoyed a 3 night stay at this nice lakefront cottage. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening happy hour in the Adirondack chairs facing the lake. Kayaks were great to cruise around this calm 80-acre lake. Cabin had everything we needed and it was a short drive to town. We will be back!

Exactly as described in listing, easy to find, comfortable, everything up to date and clean. Love the kayaks and the lake! Great location, peaceful little lake, close to town, shopping, and hiking/biking trails. Beds were a little firm, but I think that's just becuase they are new. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at this lakefront property. Communication from the owner was excellent from the moment we booked. There was even a bottle of champaigne left for us for our anniversary! Very clean inside and the kitchen was stocked with any supplies you might need. There's a fire pit in the back with lots of wood. One canoe and one kayak if you want to get out on the water. Only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Fon Du Lac. Great property for a couple wanting to get away for a few days. It's not secluded as there are homes on either side, but we didn't hear or see anyone from either home all weekend. We would definitely think about staying here again.
