Couldn't have been better for our family at the ages and stages we are all at. Host responded to all of our needs. One of the best MI vacations we've had.

The location of the home was perfect! It has beautiful views of the bay and is within walking distance to downtown. It was large enough for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). We enjoyed sitting on the deck and playing pickleball on the courts. A few downsides:The floors were very dirty. They visibly appeared clean, but we swept the night we got there and picked up tons of sand/dirt. Our feet were black from walking barefoot on the floor. I honestly do not think it had been properly cleaned in a long time. There were no AC Units in two of the bedrooms, which both got extremely hot. Some of the windows didn't open so getting a breeze at night was not possible. The deck had a broken plank and nail heads popping out all over. Our kiddos hurt their feet several times. The tennis courts were a nice bonus but had weeds growing throughout. Overall we had a wonderful vacation but the cleanliness of the house was a big turnoff.

This was a lovely home in a great location. But there were nine of us and the weather was hot and extremely humid and only two of the four bedrooms had wall unit air conditioners,. The property listed that it was air conditioned, no mention of wall units, or how many.
The hot water heater failed during our stay, and our contact person did get a hold of someone to fix it, but we were without hot water for a day and a half. Nine people
having to take ice cold showers was not our idea of a fun vacation, especially as it sounded like they’ve had previous problems with the hot water heater. As I said previously, it was a very nice home, but added air conditioners and compensation for inconveniences would be a definite plus.

This is a wonderful house in a great location. The kitchen is well equipped. It is well furnished and the rooms are large. The deck that looks out on Lake Michigan is fabulous; it has lots of chairs , a picnic table and grill. There is a tennis court as well; the house has tennis and pickleball racquets for guests to use. It is 0.5 miles to town and to a nice grocery store. The town is charming and quaint. The house looks nicer than the photos,

Beautiful home, convenient location! Spotless, spacious place to gather with family for an "up North" getaway. We will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality!!

This house was great for our group of 6 (mix of couples and singles). The location on the water is hard to beat. The patio has a lot of seating for eating outside or just lounging. The view was great from there and from several places in the house. We slept with the windows open at night which was a real treat if you are coming there from Texas in August. The few things we had questions on were promptly answered by our contact person. She was prompt and helpful with her replies. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at your home. It has four spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The view of the lake was spectacular. There is a nice deck with plenty of outdoor seating. There is a fire pit and a large grill for your use. The tennis courts were used!
The house has a great location: nice walk to town, close to vineyards, a biking trail, and an easy drive to Leland and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

We were blown away by this beautiful home directly on Suttons Bay. Each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bath, the master bedroom faced the lake and had an attached “office” area with a fireplace and queen sleeper bed which was functioned as a perfect adjoining room for my son and daughter in law’s children to sleep in. The bay windows in the kitchen and dining area provided gorgeous views of Suttons bay from each of the main rooms. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked - I could just go on and on.
We have visited the sleeping bear dunes area for the past several years and this home was hands down our favorite location and home by a long shot.
We hope to come back and stay in the future if it’s available.

This is a wonderful house for a large family! Two master suites and two additional bedrooms with access to separate baths. Beautiful views of the bay and easy walk into town! We spent two weeks here and enjoyed every minute of it!
