Loved our stay here. This was our 3rd year in venture out. This house was perfect. Great view and enough room to entertain. Host was easy to get a hold of and very helpful. Would recommend this place!

We loved the house and area. Excellent view you cannot beat. Very clean rental. All basic amenities are there waiting on you. HOA keeps resort looking beautiful. We loved the pool. Loved the pickle ball court and had a blast learning Bocce ball. This area was not overcrowded. Cudjoe key was perfect for a quiet time with family. Close enough to visit key West for the day. Perfect week.

The view is great, kitchen was well stocked, the gas grille worked great. Everything was as expected. The master bed could have been a little softer for my and my wife’s taste but no mattress pleases everyone. Overall great experience.

I wish the listing for this home would have mentioned this is a mobile home trailer on stilts located in a mobile home/RV park. It's pretty evident this home sustained hurricane/water damage and has been remodeled to some degree but still needs serious help. In the side bedroom there is a door that leads to no where that didn't shut or lock properly. It had been extremely rainy and windy before and during our stay, which lead to extreme dampness at this door and even some mold. In fact, upon entering the home, I was shocked at the overwhelming smell of mold/mildew. Honestly, if this wasn't Christmas week when all other properties are booked, I NEVER wouldve stayed here. We opened up all the windows and We also bought plug in air fresheners and bleach cleaner to clean up the mold, which did help with the smell. We were able to make it work for our week stay. Also, the beds in this side bedroom are basically cots. There is no headboard and they are extremely flimsy. The hot water heater needs updated/replaced. We were a family of four, and when taking showers to head out for the evening, every time we ran out of hot water. It also wouldve been nice to know about all the rules this park has. For example, only one vehicle can be parked at the trailer. You cannot walk your dog anywhere in the park. You have to go outside of the park, about a 10 min walk. For the price of this property, Ive stayed at nicer HOMES in the Keys and never wouldve paid this for a trailer

House was very nice, clean, spacious enough for two couples, and had plenty of space along the bulkhead for a boat larger than ours. It was a perfect house for just the two of us and our dog.

Unfortunately we did not make it to this home. A hurricane was expected to hit Florida, the problem is the forecast is never accurate so you don’t know where/ when the hurricane is going to hit. The other Problem is we had to drive through south Florida to get to the keys obviously and because of the unpredictable hurricane we couldn’t. The property manager did offer to let us check in and stay for the following week but we couldn’t make that happen. After we told him that we couldn’t he hung up on us a few times and refused to work with us about a refund or anything. So as much as I’d like to give this an accurate review I can’t. And I wouldn’t have even written one at all but the property manager has decided 6 months later to write a review on me as a guest and I’d like to see it. Hopefully if you book this property you’ll have a better experience, I’m sure the house is lovely.

Excellent place to stay for exploring the Lower Keys. Property was as described, and the whole resort was nice; everyone was friendly. Great pool, hot tub, pickleball/tennis courts, and all you need for your boating activities. 30 minutes from Key West, and the Squared Grouper restaurant is a must. Will definitely be back!

We had 6 adults in our party and didn't spend much time at the property itself. Conveniently located to travel up and down the keys. Well stocked kitchen. Only complaints were deck seating had 4 chairs and diningroom had 5 chairs so sitting together to dine or enjoy the deck was a little difficult. Also 2nd bedroom with trundle bed, do not recommend used as king, butts fell through crack all night and if turn other way bed isn't long enough.

Easy access to key west etc
One problem with wifi access that was addressed quickly

The view is what makes this property special!! The home was clean and worked well for the 4 of us. My boys enjoyed fishing from the sea wall, catching bonnet head and nurse sharks. The community is quiet and friendly, and the amenities are wonderful at the resort. We had friendly neighbors, but there is no privacy from them. Our previous rentals in the keys have been much more private, so we did miss that. The kitchen is lacking in some basic items such as a cutting board. Also the outdoor seating underneath the home was a huge disappointment. The top deck gets very hot during the day, so we spent a lot of time under the house the escape the sun and fish. Some comfortable seating here would have made our experience SO much better.

Stayed one week with my wife. Perfect for fishing off the seawall and parking our rental 21 Ft boat in the water. Clean home,,, amazing sunrise views. Good communication with owner. No issues. Would highly recommend!!!!

Great property at a great location. Had no problem keeping our 25’ boat behind the home. With the large marine balls provided - we slept well. Venture Out was much kinder than reviews let on - with our dogs, checking in, etc. Property is as described - perfect for a week of boating in the lower keys. Master bed was comfortable and master shower had amazing pressure. Kitchen cookware could use an upgrade and overall home would benefit from a good deep cleaning. Communication and property manager were on point, responsive, and available! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

The unit has been remodeled since our last stay and was nicely done; nice bathrooms, kitchen island, super great fridge, ceiling fans, upgraded sinks & toilets; really nice. The mooring balls are really great for docking the boat, sooo much better than the mooring whips. We would have liked more outdoor furniture on the bottom deck because it’s shaded whereas the top deck is too sunny/hot. The trundle bed in the guest bedroom is not comfortable and did not work very well. I’m sure a queen bed would fit in there and would be so very much more comfortable for a couple. Some of the slats on the top deck were loose and moving side to side in the wind. There was 6 of us staying, four adults and two adult children and two dogs. We had plenty of space, never felt crowded. Would highly recommend this unit, you will not be disappointed! I know we will be returning!

We had the best time with our family staying here for a week. The views the house has to offer are absolutely incredible! The boat access is so convenient- everything you need is right there to enjoy endless diving, fishing and sand bar action. We hope to be back in the future!

Our family of 6 had a great stay. Open water views, catching fish off the dock, easy boats docking, bait freezer at the house, fun pool and lagoon. The house had everything we needed. There was an issue with the A/C, where it would’n’t quite keep up with the Keys heat, but it was resolved quickly by the property manager calling the HVAC company. We’ve stayed here before, and I’m sure we’ll stay here again!

This house is in a great location in the Venture Out community. It is close to the entrance if you have a dog to walk and also close to the marina and main channel if you have a boat like I did. Trailer storage is $70 per week at VO, but I have an 18' boat so your experience may differ. The owner is responsive to needs (had a bedding issue). Were it my house I would want newer pillows, new pots/pans (they are like ones you would have in your first apartment), a vacuum cleaner (the cheap broom does not cut it) and blinds for the water/east facing windows. The view is awesome, but the sun will blind you for a few hours each morning. I would also get a spray nozzle on the hose to save water. Finally, a shower caddie in the master bath would go a long way towards convenience instead of keeping things on the floor, or reaching out to the shelf over the toilet.
I was going to email the owner about the dock being in disrepair (missing cleats, missing or loose vertical pilings, etc), but some nice guys showed up on my second to last day to fix. Before that on the windy/wavy days I was constantly monitoring the boat to try to keep off the shelf on the sea wall.
PS) I saw no bugs whatsoever in the house. It was very clean.

The boat dock lacked protection of the boat to concrete seawall. There were no pilings. This made it hard to protect the boat from the seawall. There was only one cleat to tie the boat up to. We had to carry off of the porch upstairs the hurricane shutters that had been removed from the residence during renovations and put them downstairs in the yard so that the young children would not get hurt. Two attempts to contact the Owner with no reply.

This was our second stay at this property. The interior upgrades were great. We hope to be back again next year.

Wonderful experience!

The view from this property was AMAZING! We easily placed a 26' boat right outside and had no issues even with 25mph winds some days! There were a few finishing touches that haven't been finished up (trim missing, plywood exposed, etc) but none of that had an impact on our trip. Overall the house was perfect for 4 adults and 1 dog. I recommend knowing the Venture Out neighborhood rules about dogs before arrival. The only downfall was the trundle bed, which made noise when getting in and out as well as turning over, but it didn't bother us enough to make a difference. We would definitely stay again!

The open water view from this property is beyond beautiful! We loved watching the sunrise, the dolphin, pelicans, seabirds and even boats. We could see it all from both inside and on the deck.
The house was great for my husband and me (and our dog). Venture Out is a very friendly community.
We worked primarily with Jane and John for the rental. Super nice and accommodating folks!

Great place! Beautiful views. Home is remodeled but still has some minor things to complete. Nothing that impacted our stay.
Only problem we had is the first couple days were cold for the keys. The furnace did not work and needs to be addressed.. Home was not more than 63 degrees- not comfy!

Enjoyed our escape from the frozen tundra. House is as pictured with lots of light and great views. The location is convenient for easy day trips to key west or marathon, and saw dolphins, nurse sharks and a variety of reef fish right from the balcony.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Nice home, friendly community. Our property manager,Jane, was amazing. She addressed any concerns immediately.

Quiet neighborhood, excellent view, good location. Good fishing.

The deck on this house has a great view to watch both the sunrise and sunset. You view out to big water and lots of boat traffic to watch! Cute house raised up and very quiet.
The location to Key West was great. If you want to use pool, hot tube, pickle ball, etc they are all within short walking distance within the gated community.
4.7
Breathtaking views at sunrise and a wonderful perch from which you are feet from flying pelicans and shorebirds. A gem inside the VO park. Simple walk or bike ride to amenities. Boat looked beautiful parked out front on the ocean. Easy access in and out.

Loved waking up to the beautiful view and opening the slider doors to take it all in.

Let me begin by saying, the property itself is beautiful. The location and resort amenities are fantastic.
We walked in to an immaculately cleaned space, smelled and looked clean. We unpacked and enjoyed the view, and prepared for dinner out.
Upon returning from dinner, we entered the house, and not knowing where lightswitches were, walked toward the kitchen and turned on the light. The cockroaches scattered in every direction. They were everywhere...on the counter, on the stove, on the floor around the island, around the kitchen table...
We tried desperately to kill as many as possible. Sadly, this is what we would be greeted by upon returning after dark...
The roaches were of various sizes, from babies to one that measured 2" in length...it was disgusting.
I presume the owner knows of this problem as there was a can of Raid Ant and Roach spray under the kitchen sink.
Unfortunately, this whole experience ruined our stay. Where I come from, we don't have cockroaches in our home...I expect a vacation property to not have any either. I do have pictures, however I not able to attach them here...

We are loved this property and we will be back for sure. Everything you need is inside this rental home. Beds were comfy and my teen said the pullout couch was comfy as well. We all
Loved the water pressure in the showers. It was awesome!
Only issue we had was with the WiFi. It would go in and out all day long. We called the property manager and they responded quickly and they were friendly and helpful. I just had to reset the router 3-5 times a day to get it working again. Not really a problem just annoying to teenagers trying to do online school while vacationing.
But again the property manager responded within minutes. Very kind man and very attentive to our needs and wants. If you have a family of 5 or smaller this is the place you should rent in the lower keys. Only 30 mins from Key West, where we could go down and take day trips or go watch the sunset at Mallory Square for sunset celebration.
Best beach near us was only 15/20 minutes at Bahia Honda. Gorgeous water. Sargassum wasn’t bad at all. If you go down to the right near Bahia Bridge there is a nice white sandy beach for laying out. Up closer is awesome for snorkeling and tossing a football or skip ball in the water.
Rent this house. You won’t be disappointed.
