Et smukt hus, tæt på stranden, i rolige urbane omgivelser. Lækre værelser og udsøgt service.

Utroligt dejligt boutique hotel, meget lækkert indrettet, med mange tilbud og faciliteter. Beliggenheden i rolige omgivelser og alligevel tæt på Porto centrum. Stranden og promenaden 300 m væk. Personalet var meget imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Dejligt.

Excellent little resort

Incredible location, with good access to both the beach and the city. Ubers are readily available. Staff were kind and helpful, and the room and pool area are clean and more than fit for purpose. Highly recommend.

Tad pricey compared to other high quality hotels near the beach but given the last minute nature of our booking, totally understand.

Incredible boutique hotel, perfect for a relaxing stay. Can’t wait to return!

Everything! I wanted to relax and chill so this small, intimate, boutique hotel, a short walk from the beach was perfect! The interiors (every single detail) were beautiful, even the reading books in the room. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel had everything I wanted for my stay; pool and decking area to have drinks outdoors, gym, sauna and steam, massage services, beautifully decorated rooms with every small detail so well thought out and then there’s the service. Exquisite and beyond helpful. My massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. Honestly can’t rave about this hotel enough - I already want to come back!

I absolutely loved my stay - it honestly couldn’t have been better. If I had to be really picky perhaps a little more protein available at breakfast and fruit without added orange juice - but that’s just a very personal preference for me. It would be nice to have a changing area to freshen up after check-out if you have a late night flight but again, this is a very specific minor detail.

Sehr gerne bald wieder

Sehr schön eingerichtet Die Lage ist außerhalb aber in die Strandnähe So dass Spaziergänge auf der Promenade am Meer eine gute Ergänzung zum Tagesprogramm in der historischen Altstadt sind. 15 Minuten mit dem Bus zur Altstadt Das Frühstück sehr gut Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich

Das zimmer war etwas klein, aber sehr gut ausgestattet und eingerichtet

Une tranquillité incroyable. Un personnel disponible et efficace. A deux pas de l’océan !

Le petit déjeuner n’était peut être pas aussi fantastique qu’on l’aurait aimé. C’était une bonne prestation mais on a déjà fait plus fantastique.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely staff, we would definitely stay there again. The breakfast (not included) was beautiful and delicious.

A beautiful personal & tranquil small hotel😊

We loved the tranquility of this beautiful hotel & found it very peaceful & welcoming after exploring the city.All of the staff were very friendly & helpful & nothing was to much trouble for them🥰Our breakfast each day was amazing, a wide choice of hot & cold food, all very fresh & cooked to order.Also a really nice touch was having a well stocked complimentary mini bar replenished daily😊 we would love to return here again 😁

What was their not to like about this little bit of paradise in a big city😃

A chic home from home.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Wonderful staff who accommodated all of our needs and it’s a peaceful location not too far from the centre. Very chic hotel, incredible rooms and felt like a home from home. Stylish, clean, cosy. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely come back when next in Porto.

A Gem!

Everything! This boutique hotel is a gem! Staff friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and well equipped, bed is super comfy. The breakfast is delicious 😋 with a lot of choices, the pool area , the gym is really nice, the spa is small but has it all and the massage was just perfect 👌 Litterally 400m from the beach and restaurants- I recommend 100% !

Nothing ! We do have some recommendations: Massage area should have own room instead of space in the gym. And a shelve for own beauty products next to the sink in the room would be appreciated : If they fall from the border of the glass sink to the tiled floor, they could easily break...

Nice relaxing break in a beautiful peaceful setting

The hotel, garden & pool area were all decorated very tastefully. A delicious and varied selection for breakfast often resulting in no lunch needed! The bed was comfy and we loved that our mini-bar was included and replaced daily. We also made use of the electric bikes free of charge which was an added bonus.

Booking.com said laundry services for an additional fee was available but this wasn't the case. However there are some launderettes nearby.

Exceeded expectations

Great breakfast. Luxurious, clean rooms. Great pool area, gym and sauna facilities. Fantastic location 1 minute walk from the beach, and very easy to get into the city centre. Extra pool towels. Huge comfortable bed. Big TV with good selection of channels. Coffee/tea, facilities in room with mini fridge (free snacks!). Honesty bar. And above all staff were welcoming and gracious.

Great stay, amazing location

Excellent boutique hotel, located in a nice leafy suburb, extremely clean with very friendly and accommodating staff. It's further away from all the hustle and bustle, which makes it the perfect spot for a nice, relaxing get-away. A stone away from the fish neighbourhood Matosinhos (amazing sea food). All in all, we had an amazing stay and I would definitely come back.

Classy by the sea

Amazingly decorated house and delicious extravagant breakfast just 2 blocks away from the beach! The staff was very helpful and reserved a parking spot for us. The location was excellent and we enjoyed jogging by the beach.

The room was a bit small and the setup of the shower and bathroom was not very practical. I found it a bit overpriced for the size of the room.

Brand new and beautiful house in the charming district of Foz do Douro. Restaurants and beach bars within walking distance. Good bus connections to the old town. Exceptionally good and cordial service.

Amazing location, warm friendly staff and breakfast to die for - loved it!

It is difficult to describe how perfect our stay here was. We felt like we had won a prize! The staff were so attentive, particularly Katerina who checked us in, Iryna at breakfast who came in early to make sure we could eat before checking out and the fabulous Anne with her warm manner and excellent recommendations. A special mention must be given to the breakfast - so delicious and fresh and the perfect way to start each day. Our room was beautiful, spacious and tastefully decorated - just like the rest of the hotel - and the pool was a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We loved taking the tram into town, and the short walk down to the beach (especially the beach bar!) We are so glad to have chosen Foz Do Douro and Casa Da Marechal for our short stay in Porto and will certainly be returning. Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay so special!

I travel extensively and I would choose to stay in this hotel every time I’m in Porto.

This hotel is beautifully furnished and every detail has been carefully thought out for the comfort of the traveler. The hotel is in an established private neighborhood setting with street parking in front of hotel. There is an honor bar with a nice sitting room to relax in as well as an intimate eating area for the delicious and fresh breakfast served at your requested time. The room we stayed in took up the entire 3rd floor and was decorated in cream, beige, and white for a fresh and relaxing palette. The double shower was a nice treat as were the large double sinks. There is a lift/elevator to the room as well as stairs. The room also had skylights and a private balcony.

There really wasn’t anything to dislike.

Great hotel for restful stay

Room was perfect. Good breakfast. Pool area just delightful and hotel very peaceful. Hotel away from main city area but near enough to commute in.

Stylish stay in Porto away from the crowds.

Very pretty boutique hotel, tastefully decorated, with friendly staff. Located in a leafy suburb of Porto by the (rough) sea, and not in the overcrowded center. The breakfast is great, the pool looks good although we could not use it as it was not ready.
