I had special requirements when i looked at the options because I was celebrating my mom`s birthday turning 72 years old.
I booked The V Luxury and since the first minute of arrival i was in wow mood from the staff friendness to the hospitality.
Amany the relation ship manager is amazing person who always was checking on us and make sure everything is fine with us. She even arrange a surprise party for my mom by offering a dinner at the Brazilian resturant which is a must to try when you are there and cake for my mon :) Ahmed the reciptienest made an upgrade to seaview room, The hotel is family friendly and also elder people friendly offering a wheel chair for us to keep in the room. I loved everything at the hotel and definatly my place to go in Sahl Hasheesh :) BIG THANK YOU TO ALL STAFF THERE. YOU ARE AMAZING :)
nothing except my stay came to an end but looking forward to going there again :)

On the positive side, the beachfront rooms offer a beautiful view, and the food quality was good.
We arrived at 9:45 AM but check-in was significantly delayed. While I understand this was mentioned in the welcome notice, I’ve stayed at over ten 5-star hotels that have always managed to accommodate early check-ins regardless of the season. Unfortunately, the mini-bar, which was initially stocked with fruits and sweets, was never refilled during our stay, despite being in a top-notch suite.
There were frequent electricity outages throughout the week, which is unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, indicating poor generator maintenance. Additionally, room cleaning was disappointingly slow. Despite leaving for activities at 10 AM, I would return at 3:30 PM to find the room still not cleaned. When I inquired about it, the housekeeping staff said it would be done in another hour. Prioritizing checkouts over regular room cleanups seems to be their practice, meaning if there’s a group checking out, your room might not be cleaned that day.
A major issue for me was the shared facilities with a neighboring hotel, which offers lower rates to its guests. This led to overcrowding at the pool, aqua park, beach, bars, and restaurants, making it difficult to find available amenities despite paying higher rates.
Additionally, the public jacuzzi tubs required reservations, which we were not informed about during check-in or in the welcome letter. When I tried to reserve a spot, I was told to come back at a specific time to confirm it, which was inconvenient and poorly managed.

Mariam at concierge, Mohammed at the V Spa and Samir at the Brazilian restaurant were outstanding for their services. There was things to do during the day with the animation team like aqua aerobics, yoga. Bar was open 24 hours. Food variety is good. Pool staff and life guards are nice. Nice big pool and beach was ok , you needed water shoes.
It’s not really a 5* resort more like 3.5/4*. Staff at the reception are not welcoming, everything seemed to be an effort for them. Housekeeping was hit and miss, some days excellent other days nothing. Although the resort is newish, the rooms are already looking aged, quality of workmanship doesn’t seem to be great.

Reine Katastrophe, niemals entspricht das Hotel dem Preis und das Essen war extrem schlecht !!!
Kaffee, Desserts, Alkohol ebenfalls nicht geniessbar.
Dazu kam, dass man externe Steuern zahlen musste und uns booking.com oder das Hotel im Vorraus darüber nie informiert hat. Rund 320 Euro mussten wir nachzahlen was ich als eine absolute frechheit und Wucherpreis empfinde.
Der Gesamtbetrag für 7 Tage inkl. Aufenthalt und All-inclusive betrug 1090 Euro.
Für diesen Preis hätte ich ein besseres Hotel buchen können, der zu mindest angemessenes Essen gehabt hätte.
Wir sind ein päärchen, dass echt nicht heikel ist und uns mit sehr wenig zu frieden geben, aber so etwas ist nicht akzeptabel.

The staff were very attentive, and always available. The facilities were cleaned thoroughly every day. Our room had a great view of the ocean. The beach and ocean and the facilities there is great. You get food and drinks pretty much everywhere on the hotel premises.
There was construction on one side of the hotel going on constantly. The cocktails are sugar water with really cheap alcohol. The food generally was okay, I wouldn't say fantastic.

Отель совсем не новый, как говорится в описании. Возможно основное здание новое, но номера нет. Их немного улучшили и все.
Из плюсов:
- расположение и территория отеля классные. Можно взять в аренду гольф кар и прокатиться по набережной, очень красиво.
Минусов много:
- wifi очень плохо ловит. Страницы не загружались. Интернет никакой
- номера старые и грязные. Пытались улучшить дизайном, но это не спасает.
- убираются очень плохо. За 8дней прибывание ни разу не помыли зеркало и раковину в ванной. Туалетную бумагу предоставляют только по запросу, шампуни также. Постельное белье вся в катышках, которую вообще ни разу не меняли. Но почему то каждый раз убирали наши вещи из стульев. Будто на стул нельзя класть ничего.
- Еда. Ее много, но как то все не то. Нету заявленной красной рыбы по утрам. Суши надо ждать в очереди, и то она не вкусная. Яйца тоже надо ждать пока приготовят. Некоторая еда конечно была вкусной. Но от 5ти звездочного отеля ждешь большего.
- Персонал отеля очень грубый. С самого начала нашего прибытия очень грубо разговаривали администраторы на ресепшен и охрана.
- Минусов еще очень много. Все писать не буду. Отель заявляет себя как роскошный, но на деле нет там роскоши, заявленной в описании. Персоналу надо поработать над вежливостью и дружелюбием. И следить за чистотой отеля

The lack of proper upkeep significantly detracts from the overall experience. During my stay, I encountered issues such as non-functional hot water, leading to a room change. However, the alternative room came with its own set of problems: a non-working fridge, broken power outlets, and bathroom door handles that came off upon every use. Such issues are not only inconvenient but also reflect a concerning disregard for basic guest comfort and safety.
Loud Music in the Evenings: The hotel's practice of playing extremely loud music until 10:30 PM nightly, along with additional loud music around the pool area and on the beach, significantly disrupts the serene atmosphere. This constant noise pollution is particularly jarring for guests who look forward to a peaceful and relaxing environment. Such an intrusive audio experience is a major detractor for those who value tranquility in their stay.
Mediocre Food Quality: Despite boasting a variety of food options, the quality of the meals is disappointingly mediocre and bland. For a hotel that includes 'luxury' in its name, the dining experience falls short of expectations. The lack of flavor and culinary finesse in the dishes contributes to an overall underwhelming dining experience, which is a notable letdown in the context of a supposedly upscale establishment.
Superficial Cleaning Standards: The cleaning of the rooms and facilities was noticeably superficial. It seemed that only the most basic and visible areas received attention, while a deeper, more thorough cleaning was needed. This cursory approach to cleanliness was evident in both the rooms and common areas, which detracts from the overall comfort and hygiene standards expected from a hotel of this standing.

Food quality is just abysmal, I never seen anything like that ever before:
Cucumbers - overripe, tomato’s - too green, bananas- green, pomegranates were ALL rotten, sushi too sour. Food choice is poor.
I’ve asked to change rotten pomegranates for 3 days, but all they did - promised to change for 2 days, then during 3rd day they peeled one, and tried to tell me that it’s perfect. When it’s tasted like wine already. Then, they just removed all pomegranates.
Service was non existent, I’ve also never seen such irresponsible staff before. They just trying their best at doing nothing.
Child pool and large pool are a joke - they are operational but it’s like +15 Celsius.
Gym is in AWFUL condition , extremely outdated. They don’t have any good children activities, and kids club.
There was a lot of noise in our penthouse due to renovation.
Our total experience was like in a horror movie, worst in my life.

V Luxury was a beautiful modern hotel. It was very well kept and maintained, and every member of the friendly staff that we came across always gave us great service and respect.
The lobby area- was very nice and the unlimited drinks at the bar was a nice touch for the all inclusive members. Cash point was useful too.
Bedrooms- very nice and spacious bedrooms with great beds and seating as well as a balcony with a great view of the resort. Bathroom facilities were good too.
Pool and resort- the pools were great, we really liked the heated infinity pool and the slides were great. Hot tubs facilities were nice but could've been warmer. Very nice that it had a private beach and the back aswell.
Wifi- connection was quite bad especially when outside by the pool
Location- all the resorts are together on a strip but Sahl Hasheesh is the furthest one. So just something to consider.
Food- unfortunately the food could do with improving. The options were very limited compared to other resorts I've been too and food was very bland- at times the food was cold too. Which is a big shame as there are no real food options outside for alternatives given the location of the resort
Drinks at the bar as mentioned were a nice touch however the non alcoholic drinks were very average.

The resort and the beach are beautiful; the staff (from the people at the reception to the waiters) are very friendly and let us enjoy our stay. The structure is in excellent conditions and facilities are great. We really liked our stay
Music is too loud, both on the beach and during the evening show. From 9.30 pm to 11pm you can hear loud music in your room even with the closed window, hence cannot watch a film properly or read on the private balcony

After being Burned Out, this was THE PERFECT escape to recharge again for a whole week. Loved the room, comfy bed, every day cleaning, Amazing buffet restaurant with choices for everyone. There is a gym with great equipment in the building beside the hotel which you can use for free. I can really recommend the SPA as well. The spa is separate and independend from the hotel but they made a great deal for me including every day massages, hamam treatment for a very affordable price. Great skilled people for the massages.

Very friendly staff though sometimes a little too intrusive. Very good wine but the cocktails weren't very tasty. Possibility to go diving directly from the beach of the resort. Good to book a room with seaview or garden though the rooms on the western side of the hotel are quieter in the evening but they have no views. Would be happy to return.
It isn't always pleasant to be constantly approached on the beach by the animators and staff from the spa, diving center and beauty center. It would be more relaxing if they only approached me once per day and not 5 times or more. Do bring shoes in the water to avoid stepping on corals.

The hotel reception is beautiful. Very clean and aesthetic looking. It always smelled wonderful too.
The staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Reception staff were always willing to help. There was a lady who sat on the helpdesk who was eager to take feedback about the hotel. She also booked us in for a romantic dinner on our last evening to say sorry for the broken towel rail and dirty towels in our room.
The view from our balcony, with the sea and the mountains in the distance was beautiful, especially at sunset.
The WiFi did not extend to the beach area from the hotel or the beach restaurant.
Towels were dirty on arrival, and the replacement towels brought were also dirty. I don't think they have a robust process for washing towels as there were stains on the beach towels too. Some of the towels seemed old and raggedy, which was surprising seeing as the hotel is not even 1 year old yet.
Towel rail was broken on arrival, although it was fixed promptly on request. Rooms do not look as luxurious as they do in the photos online. Despite the fact that the hotel is less than a year old, the rooms look at least 8-9 years old already.
Hotel map was very confusing and not professional as you would expect (i.e. you'd usually expect to see a laminated booklet in the room or have the option to view the hotel map and meal times on the TV in the room, but all we were given was a printed sheet of paper which had the second half of the information missing from it.
The food in the restaurants isn't that good. No authentic Egyptian food (other than the buffet restaurant). Most of the food was European/American to please tourists. In addition, the hotel has "late breakfast" and "late dinner", however, the staff pack away most of the food before this starts, leaving barely any food left to eat during those food slots.
We were constantly approached by people trying to sell excursions, photo shoots, the spa etc. every day on the beach, sometimes multiple times by the same people despite saying no to what they were selling. On our last day, we were approached by 8 different people within a mere 45 minutes of being on the beach.
The owner/salesman in the hotel shop that sells trinkets and snacks tried to rip us off by trying to charge us 800 EGP for 1 fridge magnet, a packet of crisps and some wafer snacks. We eventually paid 230 EGP, but even that was a struggle to haggle it down and still felt like a rip-off.

The facilities especially all the restaurants are great. The House Keeping did a great job cleaning our room everyday.
The major pools are not heated and are very cold so no one uses it. All guests use the small heated pool which can get crowded over time and then they run out of towels. Also, the rooms are not 5 Star - they are quite shabby as well as the bathroom - a below par and quick renovation of an existing building that was part of an older hotel that the V Luxury bought (as told to us by staff).
