This house was the perfect start for our roadtrip. The house was clean and was within 15 minutes of almost everything. The host thought of everything from leaving drinking water to supplying all you need for a perfect stay. Sometimes it is the little things that make a place enjoyable and that is exactly what this place provided.
I would recommend this place to all my friends and family who were thinking of visiting New River Gorge.

The property was the perfect home base for exploring New River Gorge. Fayetteville has plenty of fun shops and places to eat and you are easily accessible to interesting trails and hiking, white water rafting, and the national park. The house was perfect for 4 adult women to hang out. The back patio space and fire pit are wonderful places to chat. The hosts do a terrific job of making the place welcoming.

This house is beaut beautifully appointed With a wonderful outdoor deck. All the furniture is updated and comfortable. The house is well laid out, and there are spaces to relax inside and outside. A huge bonus was all the coffee provided along with creamer and sugar, and it was just such a nice touch. I couldn’t say more positive things about this Rental ! We loved it.

We were visiting New River Gorge with family of six, and this house was perfect for our visit. We cooked a lot of our meals in the very well stocked kitchen, and appreciated the popcorn, coffee, and water bottles that were there. The fire pit and deck were also highlights of the stay.

This property met and exceeded expectations for our group. It was close to downtown but in a quiet setting. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Everything was updated and in working condition. In addition to the bathroom amenities that were provided, the kitchen was stocked with those items that you may forget. This was so appreciated! Will definitely recommend to others traveling to this area.

I wanted to take my family to the New River, to experience the same river that helped me fall in love with whitewater rafting. Fayetteville is the ideal location and this house was perfect for our needs -- size, location, amenities. It has a record player and perfect lounging back porch and fire pit, too. Wonderful hosts.

Property was well accommodated and the owner had left many thoughtful additions to make us feel more welcome. House has character and was very comfortable for our stay. Location is good with easy drive into Fayetteville.

This cute bungalow in Fayetteville was clean and well equipped. The back deck and yard are fabulous. It is in a quiet neighborhood and close to town. It is possible to walk to town, however there are no sidewalks until you get to downtown. This wasn't an issue since we didn't mind the short drive. I had trouble with the keyless entry, but communication with the property manager was pleasant, prompt, and solved it immediately. I definitely recommend this property.

Our stay was very nice. The house is very cute and has everything you could need. Very convienet location and comfortable beds. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it didn't seem like the house had been swept or vacuumed recently; dust and dead stink bugs under the furniture and a layer of dust along all the trim. Hopefully the cleaning crew can up their sweeping and the house would be perfect.

Charming older house! Loved the older windows in a few areas but updated other areas. Plenty of supplies with extras if we needed them. We loved the quiet back deck and would have loved the fire pit if we were staying longer. Great location for our needs.

Family of 5 with plenty of space. Newly renovated and very clean. Excellent location to key park trails and bike paths.

Overall I would say we had a pretty good stay. We felt a bit mislead by the photos on the listing though. The furnishings and amenities were nice, but the house itself had a few challenges. The large area rugs in the kitchen and down in front of the laundry room bathroom were very curled on the edges and we tripped over them multiple times. The shower in the bathroom had no coverings and overlooked a second floor camera the neighbors had. This made us feel uncomfortable so we went to the store and got suction cup hooks to hang a towel over it for privacy purposes. Lots of uneven flooring, some nastiness around the bidet in the bathroom, and the sink that didn’t look like it had been clean before we came. The house is close to local trails which we did appreciate. I’m not sure we would stay again, but we made do for the short time we were there.

There were a few minor inconveniences with supplies provided, but overall the house worked well for us. The layout was great and the decor was very nice.

A great location close to trails and the bridge. The cottage was super stocked and everything was thought of. We had an amazing trip and were very happy with the cottage.

The tall weeds surrounding the property did not make for a very good first impression. The code given to us did not open the front door and calls to the contact number went unanswered. After repeated attempts we were able to enter using the back door. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The furniture in the living room was miserable to sit on and the rugs were old and rolled at the edges creating quite a tripping hazard. Bedrooms had too many unnecessary items in them, very crowded and cluttered. Did not feel it was worth the amount we paid and certainly wasn't "exceptional". This is the second time I have written this review, previous one wasn't posted. This experience has me questioning the validity of reviews on VRBO.

My husband, our two adult children and I enjoyed our stay. The house and kitchen were well equipped. I really appreciated the sharp kitchen knives! House was spacious and nicely furnished for four adults. Having a washer and dryer was a bonus. The back yard, grill and fire pit were also much enjoyed. Also nice was the proximity to Fayetteville. We would stay here again.

House exterior is the last photos (green with black decking), but otherwise house looked exactly as listed. Very convenient spot and had everything we needed for family of five. It was also very clean and had items like dishwasher/laundry soap, new sponges, paper towels, nice pots and pans, etc. The bottle of water and water bottles for all were nice surprise. Thank you!

This beautiful historic home was perfect for our family of 5! It was well stocked with everything we needed and the location was perfect to access nearby New River Gorge and the cute town of Fayetteville. We loved the comfy beds, stylish decor, fire pit, and especially the record player. We did not want to leave and will certainly be back!

This little house is just full of personality and is probably the best-stocked vacation rental I've ever seen. The towels and bedding are more luxurious than what you typically see even in high-end rentals, and they provided a variety of extras that made us feel well taken care of. The decor is cute without being obtrusive, and the back deck and fire pit are lovely. Our family of 5 didn't feel cramped, and the proximity to national park trails and town were ideal. We'd definitely stay there again!
