Our host was very friendly and his dog Ruby was also very friendly! The mobile home had everything we needed and the location to downtownCharleston was only a 10-15 minute car ride away! Only one minor drawback is the couch wasn’t very comfortable but this wouldn’t deter us from a return stay because everything else was so nice

This property was exactly as described, and James was extremely responsive and easy to work with. I highly recommend this to anyone!

Very nice, updated, private unit. Spacious for two people! It would be helpful to have a flag or some sort of sign to identify the driveway. My only issue was the room deodorizer. I could not sleep in the bedroom because of the smell - even after removing the deodorizers. I recommend asking guest about that prior to move in.

My daughter and i wanted some beach time without all the party ruckus, we were about 10 minutes drive further out in a quiet neighborhood. James was lovely and pointed us in the direction of a lovely local low country restaurant for dinner. Everything was spotless for my daughter when she got to the place and i was incredibly thankful at how comfortable the bed was after a full day packing and coming on a flight late at night from kansas. Being handicapped somewhat i was surprise to discover theres a ramp to the door instead of stairs, i figured if just have to make do.
A big thank you to james for his hospitality, the treats in the kitchen, the niceties in the bathroom and even the charger ports on the nightstand, they were all unexpected treats.

The place was nice, cozy and clean. A bit farther from all the action than I thought, but it was an easy drive and the host was very responsive and friendly!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was super clean, very close to everything we wanted to see, and very home like. James was very easy to talk to and we really enjoyed our stay!

We were heading to Charleston to look at colleges and this place was right in the middle of our places we needed to visit. We really lucked out. I knew nothing of the area and it was a beautiful, quiet, perfect place six miles from Folly Beach and 15 minutes from Charleston historic area. Our host lived next door and was very personable and accommodating. It was a win-win and we had a beautiful week at Folly Beach. It was heavenly. Thank you!!

I enjoyed my 3 nights at Jame’s place. The place was very clean. The heat worked well for a few chilly mornings. The kitchen is larger than many of the other options in the area. It was stocked with basic items in case you wanted to cook. The bed was very comfortable and there was a bedside lamp. Plenty of room for parking. It was easy to exit to the main road. James is a great host. I would stay here again

Checked in with ease! Owner had great communication when I contacted him with a question. Central to lots of places and restaurants. Visited James Island State Park, Magnolia Plantation., Charleston Tea Plantation, Downtown Marketplace and King Street. Had a blast!

For one or 2 people who have a car and use GPS, this is an ideal spot to locate. The price is right and James is the most responsive of all of the owners in places like this, and I have stayed in several over the years. Charleston actually is a smallish city that has an excellent network of streets and freeways and is very easy to navigate. I could not have been more pleased with this property, and particularly with the responsiveness of James.

Very unique place. Very clean, well stocked, fresh linens and short trip to downtown Charleston. James was an excellent host. James gave us his suggestions for local food on the island, to which we visited twice Ellis Creek Fish camp. Food was delicious, pet friendly and service was A+. Would stay again.

Depending of where you’re looking for. The location is at trough road so not a place to spend your day if you expect a nice view and yard to play in.
On the other hand if you just need a place to sleep after a site seeing trip at Charleston, go to Folly beach, walk or fish on the pier, Walk to the place where you have a look at the Lighthouse.
There are plethora more places to visit in the surrounding area's.
We only had 3 nights and 2 days to spend there and definitely will visit Charleston again.
Regards and thanks for your hospitality

Very cozy and warm place to stay. I expected it to in the middle of nowhere, but it was in a very quiet area and really close to downtown. James was very communicative. My wife and I really liked it.
Would stay again!

This was a great place for my husband and I to have our Anniversary weekend get away. Which I might add is New Year’s Eve. James is very nice. He gifted us with a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary and bring in the new year.
The space is very clean. The bed is comfortable. The towels and wash clothes are nice too. We had everything we needed. The property is easy to get to and is close to all of the activities we wanted to do. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

My friend and I were very impressed with this property and the location of it. It was easy to Uber to Charleston and enjoy a night out. James was a lovely host and communicated very effectively. When I booked this stay, I mentioned it was my friend's birthday, and we were welcomed with a small gift! I highly recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere on the quiet side but close to all the major attractions in the Charleston area.

Host was very responsive when we communicated prior to our arrival. Property is as listed; small with basic set up and very clean. Overall, it seemed a bit pricey for what you get.

We had to change our plans to just one night due to some unforeseen circumances at home. James was flexible and modified the reservation for us. We have already re-booked this property for the date that we rescheduled our plans. We are looking forward to staying there on our rescheduled times.
