Step through the front door and find a charming space with lots of character - from big country-style rooms to endless scenic views and ample natural light. Plus, there’s a private drive with space for two vehicles.
The Space:
This spacious country house is set in the peaceful, rural hamlet of Stowell on the North Dorset/Somerset border. Pull on your walking boots and head off on long walks straight from the door - there’s plenty to choose from in the surrounding area. And much like its location, there’s a peaceful presence to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay.
Inside, there’s ample space for eight guests: from the expansive open-plan kitchen and dining room to the handy laundry room, snug sitting room and larger living room. There’s everything you need to rustle up delicious meals - a 6-ring range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and ample utensils. Then gather around the dining table to feast into the night! Next door, a spacious living room is the perfect spot to settle into a movie night. Or if you’re feeling competitive, borrow one of the numerous board games.
Upstairs, four well sized bedrooms sleep eight guests in total. Each has its own distinctive feel; the king-size master boasts large French doors that lead out onto a private balcony as well as an en-suite bathroom. Enjoy morning cups of tea from the comfort of your bed and look out onto the pretty garden with rolling hills in the distance. In addition to the master, there is an additional double bedroom as well as two twins and an additional bathroom with shower.
