Such a nice property!

We only stayed one night but was perfect. Great room for a family for 4, large bathroom and balcony. It was outside the main area so was secluded and quite which worked well for us. Lovely and friendly staff.
Recently taken over and improvements already in process so the pool area will be better soon - no criticism as can see it is all in hand. Would highly recommend this if you'd like a comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, a quiet beautiful spot with wildlife on your balcony. We used it as a half way stop between Corcovado and Sarapiqui.

The hotel area is very beautiful and also around the hotel there is a lot to see. Our stay was very uncomplicated. Great banana pancakes for breakfast and for dinner we could use the kitchen the way we needed.

This is a neat place. It's part of a private reserve and conservation organization owned by an obviously quite wealthy retired man from the Northeastern US. From the main road heading to/from Quepos, you are driving on very bumpy, potholed, gnarly roads for several continuous miles; you don't need 4WD, but you probably need more than a little sedan (we had a small SUV). Then, amidst the miles and miles of palm plantation, you'll see a rock on the right with a faint painting that says "BBI," for Blue Banyan Inn. When you eventually reach what looks like the place, you pull in left through the gate. We arrived in the evening and were met by a staff member who did not speak any English. Luckily, I do speak decent Spanish so it was not a problem for us at all, but if you're someone traveling here with no knowledge of Spanish (which you really shouldn't be...and I guess if you don't know any Spanish, you're probably with a tour bus or something anyway), you may want to stay somewhere that caters more to that.
The room was amazing; a beautiful private cottage with A/C (we paid a bit extra for a room with A/C -- be mindful to not overuse it and to turn it off when you leave!), two huge beds, and a nice, albeit somewhat odd, shower made of rocks. The WiFi was fine though if you're expecting to Zoom call someone or have a meeting or whatever, it won't really do. There's a gorgeous pool, trails to walk around, and a large seating area for breakfast. Breakfast was amazing, as honestly, all breakfasts are in Costa Rica. Gallo pinto, eggs, and delicious coffee plus a tiny pancake-esque thing. Oh. There is no "restaurant" aside from this, so if you drive down the adventure road before eating dinner...prepared to drive it twice more to get to Quepos.
Cool place.
WiFi wasn't great, but whatever.

The place is really nice but a bit hard to get to - there is a 4 km ride off-road.
The rooms are big and there is free breakfast.
Getting there was difficult even in a car, and the shower window had no curtains which was a bit weird

I really liked the authentic location of Blue Banyan - located off the beaten path, outside of town, and in the rainforest. The owner, Chip, is available and interesting to talk with. Friendly staff and interns. Love that it is connected with Kids Saving the Rainforest and tours are on-site.

The staff and Chip (owner) made my family and I feel completely at home. The place was a perfect place away from the hustle and bustle of Manual Antonio but also so close, only like 20 minutes away. The food was perfect and plentiful.
Our 2 y/o son had a WONDERFUL time as well, 1000% recommend!

Everything about our stay and additional visit to Kids saving rainforest was spectacular. The owner Chip and his staff make you feel like you're at home with friends. The cottage like accommodation was unique and beautiful. Do not hesitate to stay.
