It was fine, just a bit old and dated and.not cleaned to the standard of places I had been staying in. Fine for a short stay if you need to stick within a certain budget.
There is a pool, although I didn't use it.
No major shade to this place, rather the accommodation in Vientiane in general. Out of 7 weeks travelling in Vietnam and Laos, this was the most I had paid for a room, yet the least value for money. When I was looking up accommodation in Vientiane, this was the best I could find within (although actually above) my budget.
Level of cleanliness - there were clean sheets of course, just the finishing touches like floors being fully cleaned. The age of the accomodation obviously makes it look a bit weathered.
Staff said they could get me a tuktuk for 100,000 kip to the airport, when I could just get an air conditioned taxi on Loca for 90,000 kip myself. I thought a tuk tuk might be cheaper.

The staff and owner were very friendly and whenever I had a problem they were always there to help. The swimming pool was a great cooling comfort making my stay great value.
There really wasn't much at all to dislike!

nice swimming pool, well working AC and almost European-like shower
printing airplane tickets is extra paid

Excellent non chlorinated swimming pool. Staff willing to change rooms to suit taste of guests. Interesting other guests from exotic regions. Will stay again.
Nothing to complain of; personally too old to rent motorbike, so tuktuk transport sometimes inconvenient - a remote location for tourist diversions - rate reasonable on bicycle rent, but Vientiane a challenge to bike for 80yr old...great spot for young&restless or long stay. Will stay again.

The place is nice, I didn't go to the pool but it seems nice.
The rooms are more old-looking than in the pictures. The air-con in my room is very old and made A LOT of noise so I couldn't sleep. In the morning I was shown another room with a quiet air-con, so if you want to stay there - make sure you're asking for a room with reletively new aircon. Also the wifi was poor (for Zoom calls at least), disconnected many times.

It has a small well maintained pool which given the heat this week was most welcome. I 'm an early riser so got to have the pool completely to myself the 1st guest I had to share with arrived about 10am. I"M sure the Pool will be crowded on the weekend.
Simple practical. And perfectly adequate guest house and at USD 14 per night a real deal. Tuk-Tuks waiting at the gate. And they speak English, French and. Even German just tell the guy in charge of the bunch.

Nice pool area, spacious room, friendly receptionist. Bicycles available for rent but at an additional charge. Good location
The bed was uncomfortable and the room we got was different to the room we booked / in the pictures. Bathroom was dirty.

The stuffs were friendly and very humble. The place was not very far from the centre
Very old place. They charged us double for the train ticket which we found ridiculous. The AC didn't work as expected.

The pool and small tables and chairs around it were great, also the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a fridge, table and wardrobe. The bed got made up when we were away and you can get free water refills in the lobby. They sell drinks as well.
The bathroom was very very small and the shower head leaked.

We had a large, comfortable room and the staff were very helpful. It was great value for money. The breakfast was basic but served quickly and was adequate.
The control for the air-conditioning didn't work. We asked for something to be done but it didn't improve.

Helpful and friendly staff, good bicycles for rent, clean pool, brand new aircon
Rooms could use a renovation

Staffs are very kindly. Before trip, I asked to Owner to book rail ticket to Luang prabang instead of me and he did it.
Really thank you for your kindly support.

Everything in the room was worn out. Lamp didn't work. Bed linen & pillow needed replacing.
Tiny insects ( I think ants) were crawling inside my luggage. Electricity switches were temperamental & coming off the wall. The staff were disengaged except for one male member of staff. I paid for 4 days & left after first day. Alot of rubbish piling up near the stairs to rooms.

Very friendly and helpful.
There wasn't anything I did not like.

The room was good value and the pool nice WIFi was good.
The location is poor states 1.5km from Centre but is nearer to 6km. I have never given a bad review on staff and this is my 4th time to Vientiane but sorry to say the attitude was poor and nearly everything was too much trouble. I asked for the room for 1 more night if possible and got a NO ! There was no sorry we are fully booked. Anyway the upshot is found a slightly more expensive room right in the centre, including breakfast and really nice helpful staff.

room was big
rooms were dark, no shops or food around. you need a bike definitely. don’t walk alone at night as my boyfriend was nearly robbed in the area

Pool was large and opened early which was good. Staff were able to communicate with us but spoke little English. Laundry was available but it is handwashed so not as good as others.
It was good that you could refill your water bottles from their drinking water.
Was a little far from good restaurants.
Had a bit of a weird vibe because they had long term guests there or at least guests who thought they owned the place.

my pillow was a bit hard, but if that’s the only thing I’ve got to complain about then it’s not bad at all.
