Convenience between airport and Utila Dream ferry. Good communication between staff and myself before arrival.
No hot water

being able to get away
no service,; about the worst room in the resort without view or balcony for $120 a night without the option to upgrade; no use of the restaurant for an entire day because a wedding was going on there; no wifi in the room; only cold water available; very rude service by waitresses and other staff.

Nothing
Broken AC that leaked water, no hot water in the shower, toilet did not flush, restaurant and bar on site closed with no warning on website or by staff.

The view was beautiful & the villa was very comfortable for the size of our group.
The service was more than poor. Our son may have swallowed a tiny sliver of glass from a glass in the villa, as he had a thin shard on his lip after drinking water and there was another piece broken off, but nothing was done after I reported it. We we're told We were told there would be american breakfasts but didn't get it until our third morning. We weren't supplied with enough towels or waters daily, although we were told we would be provided fresh daily. We waited to be served for breakfast with no luck until we found someone to take our order. The food took over an hour to be made daily & there was a shortage of mostly everything. The tourists from the cruise ships received better service than we did. The locals received better service than we did as well. We are extremely disappointed in the service we received throughout our entire stay. We will not return to stay again. The villa needed a lot of reparations as it is poorly maintained. Much improvement is necessary for this establishment to be a nice place to stay.

Our server Terry was good.
The check in process was horrific. There wasn’t anyone there to check us out at 10:30 am. No shuttle provided to the airport as advertised. There was no shower head in the shower. The lock on the door needed a physical key and was so rusted it would get stuck.

The property was very nice as was the room. Staff was all super friendly and helpful even when I showed up 1 hour before my scheduled check in time. The food was very good and I got 50% off from the restaurante I believe because I was staying at the hotel. There weren’t many tourists staying there so a bunch of locals came by in the evening and had a nice party with music and dancing and were all super friendly when I was sitting alone at the bar.great access to the airport!
I was there in the off season so there was a bit of construction happening and the beach had a few plants washed up on it from the ocean but other than that everything was great

The Las Palmas complex is gorgeous. Two large pools with a shaded patio between them, modern rooms and what appears to be future rooftop patios with pool on at least some of the buildings. The woman at check-in upgraded us by opening a connecting door to a kitchen and living room.
Breakfast is included, although there's no food choices. It is brought to your room at the time you request, but includes no coffee. (And there wasn't a coffee maker in either the bedroom or the kitchen). We got some kind of juice and make your own breakfast street tacos, with scrambled eggs, ham slices, refried beans, avocado and (I think) white cheese. Overall a tasty breakfast, but no coffee.
There's a restaurant next to registration, and even though the woman at check-in suggested we ask for ice there (since there was none in our kitchen), she didn't mention that they wouldn't be open for dinner or even to sell ice cream snacks. We needed to take a taxi to the closest open restaurant, which we really didn't want to do.
The whole vibe is kind of "work in progress". The units look like fancy condos from the outside, but our room was small, with both a queen bed and a twin bed that took up almost the entire room. The bathroom was modern, with a rain shower faucet, but there were only two bath towels, no hand towels or pool towels. The shower opening had a cheap clear shower curtain that didn't reach the bottom of the opening and the faucets in the shower were reversed. There was mold on the wall between the shower and toilet, maybe because the shower curtain didn't keep water from spraying out the bottom.
I wanted to let the woman at check-in know about the shower faucets, but nobody was there when I tried to turn in our key, and I realized I had no phone number for the hotel/resort. I had previously sent a message through booking.com and never got a response, so we just walked away, leaving the key in the room. I guess I'll hear from them if anything is wrong

Swimming pool. Room was sparse but comfortable.
Not clear from Booking.com site where hotel is. Turned out that pictures shown on site come from two different but adjacent sites. One old and probably unacceptable and smelly (?), the other new and fine. We booked on the day before since our other booking had stood us up in the same site. When we arrived the hotel did not appear to have our booking.

there was no communication from the hotel even where I messaged on multiple platforms. multiple aspects listed in the booking were not provided. staff couldn’t answer questions. I couldn’t even check in officially until checkout the next day.

Like your own private beach. Part of the cruise line excursion. Was quite and comfortable.
No one met us at the airport so was a bit confusing as to where to go. I was able to contact the resort and organized a taxi.
