Excellent Dar in the middle of the Sousse Medina, 2 mins from the Ribat. We loved it. Extra comfy beds, very warm in the winter, nice views from the top terrace.

Beautiful property in the middle of the Medina. Excellent breakfast and very welcoming family run Dar.
There wasn’t a top sheet on the bed and it doesn’t seem like the bedding had covers that get washed

Highly highly recommend!! This property is amazing and the host family are the BEST. The breakfast is divine. If you are looking for a place to stay in Sousse, look no further!
It’s in the old city so at night the roads can be confusing, but it’s well worth it!

The Dar just opened this year and is very beautiful and well located in the medina. Rooms are beautiful and the terrace offers incredible views all over the medina. The staff is very helpful and always available to help you. Special mention to Amine, who was really ressourceful and kind, he even came with us to Kairouan and guided us through the city. Breakfasts are incredible! I would 100% recommend and would love to come back!
Nothing :)

Location was central in Medina and it was very easy walk from station . Very authentic and welcoming . Everyone did everything they could to ensure we had a great visit including a fascinating car trip to El Jem and Kairuan. Thank you !
All good !

Beautiful authentic dar right in the medina. Perfect place of pure serenity, in a Tunisian style, with several cozy places to sit and relax in the quiet and the shadow.
Breakfast was great, served with love.
All the staff is very hospitable and helpful (special thanks to Emin).

I would highly recommend staying here! In a traditional boutique hotel, Omar the owner has done a great job setting it up (recently opened). Extravagantly sweet breakfast, beautiful room and in a perfect spot in the medina just around the corner from the hustle and bustle. Omar went out his is way to make the experience fantastic for me and would recommend to my friends.
I'm not a sweet tooth so some more savoury breakfast options but overall was very happy.

The place is beautiful and good location.
The owner is very kind and his mother is very sweet.
Not very clean, toitlet was used before we arrived. Our room wasn't clean once during our three days stay. Breakfast is good but same every day and must be scheduled.
Sometimes there was not running water, the second time fortunatelly the owner was around and fixed it for us right away.

Location was excellent, in the heart of the Medina.
The owners were very sweet and caring, and made you feel at home at once.
Breakfast, freshly made by mama, was the bomb.
Till next time, Ins Allah.

Wow where do I start- what didn’t I like? Everything about this place is perfect.
The property is beautiful and the room I stayed in was out of this world. I couldn’t get of the design and architecture.
The hospitality of the place is another key highlight. The owner and his mother run the place. They are so lovely and warm. The owner took us on a tour of the Médina and told us about the history of it which was super interesting. He was also kind enough to take us out to explore the city in the evening inviting us to a concert in the grand museum.
His mother makes the best breakfast I’ve had in Tunisia. You could feel the love in the dishes.
I felt at home the whole time and was sad to leave. If and when I’m back in Tunisia next, I’m definitely adding sousse to my itinerary just to stay at this lovely Dar.
Nothing to be completely honest. Everything about the stay was perfect for me.

The owners mother and son were extremely friendly.
AC worked well.
It was as depicted in the pictures.
Breakfast was traditional and tasted good.
Location was good in the old town, although one might have some trouble finding the place, because the streets are as they are in old towns.
There was only one big bed instead of two as was mentioned in Booking.com, also the sheets were sliding away easily.
Breakfast time was not informed beforehand and there was nobody to serve it at 8 o'clock. Luckily we didn't need to leave so early and had it afterwards.
Didn't accept card payment, only cash in dinars.

100% would come back!

Most beautiful and clean place to sleep. Breakfast was perfect Tunisian experience. Rooms would be suitable for princes.

- The Rooftop Terrace was beautiful.
- The owner’s Mother was very charming and she prepared breakfast for us in their cafe which was in a different location in the medina.
- There was air conditioning in the room
- There was no bath in the room as outlined and the water pressure was non-existent so the shower and the taps did not work in the room.
- the bed sheets had stains on them.
- We had a strange experience the morning we checked out. We were asked to pay for our room in cash (Dinar) while we were at breakfast which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We told them that we had no cash and would need to go to an ATM and strangely the owner’s wife came with us and then allowed us to get our bags back at the hotel.

Omar and his family welcomed us with open arms.
His kindness and facilities made our trip much easier. He offered a tour of Sousse and organised a day trip tour to Monastir and El Jem. So worth it!
Traditional tunisian breakfast.
A/C on every room
Really recommend it!
