Directly at your stay, appreciate having access to indoor/outdoor swimming pools, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, a pool table, a gym, and an on-site golf course. Mere minutes away from South Padre's beaches - any day can be a beach day, just don't forget to pack your sunscreen! Nestled right on the canal, the fishing opportunities are pristine from the home's private deck.
Inside your home away from home, stream your favorite TV shows and movies in the spacious living room, available with your login credentials. The chef of your family will have no issues whipping up mealtime masterpieces in the adjacent full kitchen, and when mealtime rolls around, dine at the window-side dining table, or alfresco on the covered patio. Both of the bedrooms are sizable, bright, and kept cool thanks to the cottage's central air-conditioning. Additional interior perks include a water softener, a water filtration system, and a full-size stackable washer/dryer. As another day of vacation comes to an end, head back outside under the pleasant Texas sun where you can watch the dazzling colors of the sunset meet the water while firing up the private gas grill.
Things To Know
You must check in at the Long Island Village Resort Center to pay for their $90 admission fee. This allows you into the resort and includes 2 vehicle passes (two vehicles maximum) and wristbands. This is a $90 admission fee that will be paid directly to the Long Island Village HOA on arrival and is not included in your Vacasa fees. Additional details will be included in your confirmation email.
Golf is $9.00 per round or $5.00 for unlimited golf in the evenings.
NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. If any guests are found to violate these rental policies, it will result in eviction without a refund. If you have any questions or concerns about your compliance, please get in touch with us right away so we can ensure you have a safe and happy vacation.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

I liked the newish updates! Appliances, beds, sofa. Also did a decent job of painting over stains/holes in walls. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom were clean and fresh.

This is our 3rd stay here! We love the location, space and cleanliness! The new modifications to the downstairs deck area are great and we loved being able to sit outside this time while it was raining. We hope to book here again soon!

Beautiful home that could use some updating. Home wasn’t as clean as I would have loved (hairs that weren’t mine in the house, discoloration of bath mats, and noticeable spots on floor that needed better scrubbing - looked like dirt was pushed around) but in a nice area. Hot tub in community area definitely needed some cleaning. Also, was only given 3 towels for 4 guests. The TV doesn’t have a remote to control sound making movie nights hard. Hard to get down into the water for any sort of kayaking but perfect for fishing. Again nice place but little things could have been better. Also, not nearly enough pots/pans and check out process was not user friendly - I had to reach out for info just to get contradicting statements.

My family enjoyed our stay! Home was clear and cool when we arrived. Night fishing off the back dock was awesome. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and community amenities are slightly dated but easy to access.
