About this house rental
Stay at this stunning forest retreat in Sewanee, less than a ten-minute drive to the University of the South campus. Perfect for families, two couples, or group of friends, this 3-bedroom architectural gem offers sunset views from the bluff, soaring ceilings, and a stone fireplace. With resort-like amenities, you can cook in the chef’s kitchen, spin vinyl, enjoy drinks around the fire pit, or unwind in the spa-like master bath — all within minutes of everything the mountain has to offer.
••• Living Room •••
Enjoy unobstructed bluff views from the massive couch or oversized lounge chair. (Two kids or one adult can easily sleep on the couch.) Want to add some music? We’ve got you covered. Spin one of our 100 records on the turntable or pull up your favorites on Spotify and enjoy music throughout the home with a Sonos wireless stereo system.
••• Master Bedroom and Bath •••
Sleep comfortably on the king-sized bed and Casper mattress, complete with luxury linens. In the mood for a book? Curl up on the lounge chair in the reading nook. If you’d rather pamper yourself, enjoy a bath in the freestanding tub or relax and unwind in the enormous double shower.
••• Guest Bedroom 1 •••
With a beautiful queen-sized canopy bed, paired with comfy bedding, you and a partner can sleep in or stay up late. Watch a movie in your suite or open the windows and let the outside in. The adjoining bath boasts an oversized shower and organic, posh toiletries to leave you refreshed.
••• Guest Bedroom 2 / Office •••
You can work or play in this bedroom office. Setup your laptop with a view of the bluff from the desk, or let the kids have their own room with a bunk bed and twin-sized trundle that sleeps three. With a travel crib in the closet, and an oversized lounge chair by the window, it’s also the perfect nursery for rocking a little one to sleep.
••• Kitchen and Dining •••
Impress the family with your cooking skills in the open kitchen with double ovens, a six-burner gas stove, and all the appliances you’d expect (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig). We’ve stocked the cabinets with everything you might need, including a full set of pots, pans, bakewear, and a pantry with the essentials. The dining table seats six and offers its own views of the bluff. (If you’d rather eat outside, the screen porch has a table that seats six, too!)
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire 9-acre property.

The property was exactly what we wanted; away from the busy city and quiet. Perfect for recharging and ready to go back to work. Still close enough to enjoy the touristy stuff.
