Welcome to the beautiful Wren Lodge, a 3 storey, 5-bed detached home with spectacular views over Howells Mere Lake. South facing and set in a nature reserve within 500 acres of Cotswold countryside, there are 3 outdoor terrace areas for your family and friends to enjoy the sun all day and long into the evening. The home has a large ground floor deck with a private hot tub, with two further substantial sized balconies on the first and second floors. One of the best locations to relax and unwind!

By making a reservation you are accepting the Lower Mill Estate's Code of Conduct as per the Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your guests.
STATED GROUP SIZE: Bookings are accepted on the group size & configuration stated at the time of booking. Any changes to this would require permission. Lower Mill Estate is a gated and warden controlled private estate and we provide the Estate with all guest group sizes and group dynamics prior to arrival, which are confirmed at the time of booking.
DAY VISITORS: Day visitors to the Property may be permitted with our prior consent, at our discretion, provided that the total group (including visitors) does not exceed the maximum occupancy of the Property.
SPA ACCESS: All but a 4 minute walk to the Luxury Spa complex, of which you get full rental access during your stay, allowing you and your family and friends to use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Outdoor pools are closed during the low season.
NATURE FIRST: Lower Mill Estate is a nature first environment and we are all guests of nature. As such, things like certain lakes being closed in off season for nesting, low level lighting at night, reeds being left to grow to full height, is part of managing the unique environment and eco system.
PARKING: Each property on the Estate has one designated parking space within a few yards of their front door. All other vehicles can make use of the nearby additional communal visitor spaces and/or the overflow car parks. Please do try and limit the number of cars where possible.
HOT TUB: All of our hot tubs are maintained by a professional pool company, Messrs, MR Pools. Please do not use the hot tub after 10:30pm to retain the peaceful & respectful environment, in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
TRAVEL COT OPTION: We are unable to supply bedding or a mattress thicker than the ‘wrap around base’ that the travel cot comes with. For your reference, the approx. size of a standard travel cot is 60-65cm x 95-100cm.
BBQs: Due to insurance restrictions & potential health & safety compliance issues, we have removed BBQs from each property. Therefore, please remember to pack your own, or alternatively purchase a disposable BBQ for alfresco cooking.
LAKE SAFETY: All outside terrace areas are child proof and have over waist height glass balustrades all the way around, providing a safe environment for children.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Wren Lodge. The accommodation was excellent with lots of outdoor space as well as being very roomy inside. We were 8 adults and 3 young children but the lodge was very child friendly and was extremely safe for them. They loved watching the fish and wildlife on the lake from the patio area and balconies and the hot tub was a big plus. The lodge is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The lodge is very convenient for all the other Estate amenities, with everything being within walking distance - even for little legs. Close by (5 mins in a car) there is the Cotswold Country and Beach Park which is a great facility and there is enough there to spend the day at a minimal cost of £10 per car to include 5 passengers. We were met be Neil who explained everything to us and was very helpful. We had a great time and thought the lodge was a super venue for us all to get together.

Perfect lakeside house, ideal for our family holiday . Four generations and a dog were all well provided for!

Property was in a great location and was a brilliant little break for the family. The property had plenty of games Xbox and stuff for the kids as well as a lovely hot tub for them to enjoy and a spa pass to go swimming everyday.
