About this cabin rental

This historical 1700’s cabin has been upgraded to fit your needs for an amazing vacation of entertainment and relaxation. Only a 20 min drive from Nashville and just 5 minutes from local shopping and food. Our cabin is the perfect mix of city and country. It is located on a 5 acre shared estate. We encourage our guests to enjoy the creek and pavilion during during their stay. Early morning or evening hours are perfect for listening to the birds sing or watching the deer graze. We have placed a couple of hammocks at the creek for afternoon napping or creek side book reading. There are also some great sitting stones and a couple of benches for your enjoyment as well. The cabin has all your basic needs and is fully stocked with all the linens (towels and bedding) and cooking supplies one could need. Access to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom is via a ladder/style staircase. It’s steep but has handrails for your assistance. On the second floor you have a very large master with en suite bathroom, a stand up shower and closet. Basic shower soaps provided. The bedroom has a small sitting space and has been outfitted with a queen bed. There is ample natural light in the cabin and a cozy back porch. The porch faces a shared quart yard space between this cabin and a small cottage but each guest also has their own yard space. We are also conveniently located near a new park/coffee house “Legacy Park” and just a 5 min drive from interstate access to explore all the local fun. We have included a basket of Nashville site seeing flyers and some games for the evenings. As well as wifi and a “Roku smart tv” for the evenings you rather crash with a movie. From the pictures the house appeared to be on a secluded type property. It’s right off a busy highway. The stairs are very steep. Yellow jacket nest right off the porch. They were in the house I woke up to horrible sting from one in the bed. I’m allergic to them and have a swollen arm and pain still today. The owners response was I’m sorry. We left so they could do something about it and came back to the same yellow jackets. Got up to one on the bed this morning. The owners offered no discount for this. I would not recommend this place

Came from Louisiana to stay in this cute little cabin, and it did not disappoint!! Check in was super easy. The cabin is located on a nice creek! We enjoyed walking the property and exploring Hendersonville. Would highly recommend!!

The best review a property can receive is if you’d want to stay again. My wife and I so enjoyed our visit, we plan to return soon. We started to tell friends in the area about the cabin so their visitors might have a special place to stay. We realized the cabin would be that much harder to reserve for future visits, and stopped. I guess being selfish is ok sometimes.

Super cute! Great location, if you're not wanting to be right down in the mix of things. About 20 minutes to downtown. The host had provided coffee, towels, some toiletries. Was the perfect place for us. If a person has mobility issues the stairs to the bathroom and bedroom could pose an issue. We injoyed the stay. Thank you.

Perfect location 20 mins outside downtown and quiet. Owners were very friendly and the Vrbo was very clean and neat. We toured downtown went to the grand ole opry and mountain biked all easy access to the rental.

The setting of the cabin was serene with a creek flowing on the edge of the property . The cabin itself was quaint, very rustic. We enjoyed everything about it. The stairs to the bedroom and bathroom is steep, but was fine for us. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The cabin was very nice. Perfect for what we needed. Only thing that we noticed is there is no light on the porch. Makes it hard after dark to unlock the door. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The owners were both very nice people. Great relaxing vacation!

My husband and I wanted to get away but not have to travel far and Nashville is only a couple hours away from us. We loved our stay here it was like stepping back in time but having modern conveniences. Amanda our host was awesome. We arrived earlier than expected and she was only too happy to ready our cabin and let us check in before the normal time. We were so appreciative. We recommend this place to any couple that wants the outta ordinary stay.

My husband and I really liked our stay. The cabin is perfect for a couple. It was immaculately clean and very cozy. Perfect location just 20 minutes from downtown. We stayed busy downtown during our stay, but we could have easily not left the property. Host was quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in the cabin was great! We had temps as low as -1 and we were able to stay nice and cozy throughout the night. The Burton’s brought over a kerosene heater just in case but luckily we never had to use it. I reached out to Amanda about getting a couple extra pillows and she accommodated very quickly. We never used the kitchen but it was nice to have it just in case. We walked the property some and saw the beautiful creek and lots of deer tracks. We did see a couple deer each morning as we were leaving. The location was perfect and not a far drive to Nashville. Lots of good diners in Hendersonville. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin to friends or family and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future. 10/10

The cabin was a hidden gem found 25mins outside of town. It had everything that we needed including hot water, AC, kitchen space and a cozy atmosphere. Our one suggestion would be to upgrade the bed upstairs into a king to allow for more space and a better nights rest. We would recommend this stay to anyone looking to get the cabin experience while being close enough to pop into downtown as you please.

I booked this cabin for a little anniversary getaway as a surprise for my husband. We both love TN and are history buffs so this was the perfect place for us. The cabin is in a nice neighborhood, is super well kept, and really close to shops and a restaurants. Check in was a breeze, and the cabin had everything we needed--even some extras that usually aren't provided. The only thing that would've been just extra great was if the bed in the loft bedroom was a king, but that's just personal preference on our part because we're used to that. We loved the spacious bedroom and bath. This place was seriously great for a relaxing weekend, and we plan to book here again.

This was a great little cabin for our needs. A unique setting and beautiful furnishings/high quality features. The only downside of our stay was relatively outside of the owner's control. It was Asian lady bug season and because the age of the home, the house became infiltrated with 1,000s of lady bugs. The host did offer to clean if we could be gone for several hours and left a vacuum for us in response.
