We had a great getaway weekend in this lovely cabin in Mammoth Creek. The cabin has it all and is decorated nicely with historic items and family heirlooms. It made us feel at home. The bed was super comfortable and the we were able to completely relax for the weekend. The cabins deck looks over Mammoth Creek and you can walk 15 yards to the shore. Amazing stay! We will be back.

Our stay at the log cabin next to Mammoth Creek was unforgettable! We were warmly welcomed by a call from the hosts, Jason and Jennifer. As a family of five plus our dog, we were amazed by the cabin's beauty and serene location.
The house is next to Mammoth Creek, offering picturesque views and easy access to the clear water. The deck facing the creek was perfect for morning coffee while enjoying the sight of deer and birds.
Inside, the living room was comfortable for movie nights. The dining room table was great for dinners and game nights of dominoes and poker. Our kids, aged 18-23, loved the small cornhole set in the living room.
Sleeping arrangements were ideal with comfortable beds in every room. The kitchen was well-equipped for our meals.
The cabin's location is breathtaking, with Duck Creek just 10 minutes away. We enjoyed meals at Aunt Sue’s and the local pizza pub. Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks are about an hour's drive.
We rented a UTV and explored local trails, and hiking to Cascade Falls was a highlight. The local general store provided groceries and souvenirs, and the friendly staff gave great activity suggestions.
This log cabin is perfect for a family vacation filled with memories, outdoor fun, and breathtaking views. We hated to leave and can't wait to return. Thank you, Jason and Jennifer, for a wonderful stay!

We were very surprised with the cabin and the property, absolutely beautiful!. We’ve stayed at quite a few cabins located in Strawberry and decided to give Mammoth a try, and I have to say we were not disappointed, and neither were our dogs. This cabin had all the amenities you could ask for and more. It was so relaxing sitting on the back porch listening to the creek and watching the deer come sneak down for a drink. We loved the convenience of taking our dogs for a swim and not having to load them in the truck and drive them to a location do this. We also loved the location between Duck Creek and Panguitch for fishing. The communication with the host was outstanding and they made our stay top rate. We hope to stay at this property again, this is one of our favorites. Thank you, The Cole Family!!

Cabin is spacious. We had 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs there and we were comfortable. There's enough kitchen supplies to get by. Driveway seems steep, but not a big deal once you do it. The view is AMAZING throughout the entire cabin. You can get to the river with a few steps. Caryn was great at communication. We definitely would stay here again!

We expected that this place was "over-sold", as so many are, but if anything it's under-sold. For me it is more a "private Lodge" than a cabin. It's a beautiful place with great furnishings. There are other homes around but you feel secluded because of the distances, the trees, and the "creek".
The creek is more like a stream. The only possible disappointment might be the fishing, which is a "your mileage may vary" situation.
The Host is very professional with the perfect balance of being available and leaving us alone.

This cabin was wonderful. Clean and cozy. The property owner was kind and accessible. I was a little nervous about well water…but the water tasted delicious! :) The river was running very high during our visit b/c of snow melt. So no fishing for us, but the setting was relaxing and peaceful.

The cabin is spacious and beautiful. Our family group was 5 adults, 2 teenagers, and a dog and we all fit in well. The kids enjoyed the stream right by the house and so did the dog. Our son and grandson spent much of their time fishing in the many lakes and streams nearby, and our granddaughter enjoyed exploring the local area around the house and stream and then coming inside to curl up with a book and blanket.
The cabin was well equipped. When we needed information about some of the equipment, Caryn always responded quickly. We had a wonderful time!

The cabin is a ways from “groceries” so come prepared with all your food! It was perfect for us-we were looking for a quieter getaway! Lot’s of trails to ride near by and hiking is plentiful. Fishing and swimming at Navajo Lake was amazing! Overall, a great cabin, owner and area!!!

Cabin was very relaxing and cozy. Felt very large for 5 of us and 2 dogs. Deer in the yard every day. Fishing on the creek was fantastic.
Everything was just as described if not better. We will be back!
Thanks Caryn for your great communication.

We loved staying in this beautiful log cabin that sits right on Mammoth Creek. It was easy to find and Caryn was helpful at every turn. We loved walking along the creek. It was close to Brian Head and about an hour from Bryce Canyon and Zion. We had fun exploring the nearby Mammoth Cave. We’ll be back for sure!

The most stunning cabin, all we had to do was show up with our clothes, food and loved ones. The cabin was equipped with anything we needed to include Wi-Fi, towels, games, televisions in every room! We were booked for 2 nights but arranged a 3rd. We opened the windows and listened to the stream all night. Caryn the host was consistently responsive.

This is a very pretty, well-cared for home. It is in a quiet, peaceful location by a wonderful section of river. There are many trails and attractions within short driving distances. Communication with the Owners was always quickly attended to. We hope to return in the fall.

The cabin was super cozy, especially the beds!!! Our family spent time at Bryce Canyon (which I recommend), Duck Creek Village, and the backyard. My kids really enjoyed wading in the water of the creek while we relaxed and took in the fresh air. Panguitch was a bit far, but Duck Creek had so much to do and close by. Plenty of kitchen stuff to do some cooking, lots of games to play, and the owners even left stuff for s’mores! The only recommendation I have is 4-wheel drive, as the short driveway is steep!

You will not find a more ideal hub for your Southern Utah adventures. The cabin is spotless, with every amenity you will ever need. We visited Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Escalante, all within a reasonable drive of the cabin. But the highlight was always returning “home”. Caryn was always available and quite helpful throughout. This is THE place to stay if you’re in Southern Utah!

Our family stayed in this delightful cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautifully decorated, so very interesting. The kitchen is so well equipped I brought things I didn’t need to bring. My family said this was one of the best Thanksgiving dinners I have ever cooked. Our dog enjoyed running in the woods and the freedom to not be on a leash all the time The view and the stream are absolutely magical as my daughter said in her Facebook posting. We definitely hope to stay there again. I want to try fishing. Caryn Answered all of our questions very quickly and was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a family.

A beautiful cabin just steps away from the creek. You can sit on the balcony and see/hear the creek...SO relaxing!
The cabin was well stocked and clean.

Cabin was great. Loved the location right by the creek. Room for all 7 of us. Would definitely come back!

The cabin was exactly as described- it was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. There were thorough instructions for things like the water, the fire pit, and what to do in an emergency. There were plenty of towels and pillows. We made all of our meals at the cabin and were not lacking for any kitchen amenities. Caryn communicated quickly prior to our arrival and I have no doubt she would have responded equally quickly if we had encountered any issues (which we did not). We hope to stay here again!

What a wonderful cabin to relax in and enjoy the fresh air without neighbors right next to you. Beautiful stream 200 steps from back deck. Owners super nice—complimentary s’mores set up to use one night at the fire pit next to stream—and a bottle of champagne on arrival too! Nothing about our stay was anything less than a 5 star!

Our (grown up) family of four stayed in this beautiful cabin for a week in July. We really enjoyed it and have nothing but good things to say about it!
First of all, the location was just about perfect. Beautiful forest area, in the middle of nature, next to a all-season creek, away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Quite remote, yet close enough to Duck Creek Village (which has some nice little shops and restaurants (and of course ATV rental!)) and the key attractions of the area: Zion and Bryce National Parks.
The cabin itself was very spacious, very clean and comfortable (wifi was spotless). We especially enjoyed the nice deck overlooking the creek. The communication with the owner was responsive, easy, and friendly.
We would definitely recommend this rental and are looking forward to returning in the future!

My wife and I were looking for a secluded getaway since we have not had any vacations during this Covid outbreak. Could not have asked for a better place, nice cabin right on a creek, which we sat next to every afternoon for happy hour! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

The cabin is located in a fairly small, somewhat remote, community along Mammoth Creek. The cabin was clean and well kept. We spent the majority of our time on the deck enjoying the cool weather and the sound of the creek. Be aware that the cellular service is negligible and the driveway is pretty steep. Overall, a great stay!

The Cabin was perfectly situated on a trout stream, with no noisy neighbors and plenty of room to spread out. Loved being so close to the water, hearing the babbling brook every night as we grilled dinner. Great stay.

Where do I begin? First of all, the LOCATION. The cabin is located right next to a beautiful creek right out back with the constant soothing sound of running water. Every 5 minutes we look up and there are deer in the yard or by the creek. Beautiful birds everywhere. Trails galore for us to ride in our UTVs.
Caryn was wonderful - so helpful and attentive! The cabin is clearly a very loved family home, and has a well-loved vibe. Lots of fluffy towels in the bathrooms, warm blankets everywhere, and practically every kitchen accessory you can think of.
We enjoyed every single minute of our stay at the Gifford's cabin and I'm sure we'll be back. :-)
