The perfect find for a memorable stay at the heart of a lovely village

Our host was very welcoming and friendly and it’s obvious with the beautiful accommodation that Tina has a great eye for detail and has planned for all of her guests needs perfectly. I think we had one of the best night’s sleep away from home that we’ve ever had, quiet and with a bed that was so comfortable it was hard to leave. The bathroom facilities were a delight too, spacious, modern and really well lit. There was an array of fresh continental style breakfast offerings included with the room but in addition we opted to pay for a cooked breakfast which was top notch. The Priory is also opposite a real gem of a walled garden that is open to visitors with a lovely cafe. Neither of us have any hesitation in recommending this property as the perfect place to stay.

Fabulous short stay in a beautiful property.

Beautiful period property in a lovely village, hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The included breakfast was very good and plenty to start the day off. Spotlessly clean and rooms are decorated and furnished for the character of the house. Would highly recommend for a quiet stay.

A great find

Location, the house and the hosts were all perfect for a visit to Cannington for a family event. The Priory is a place with history and great character. Buffet breakfasts were more than adequate but I indulged in the excellent optional cooked breakfast. Room was spacious and well furnished. We will be back.

There were steps down to the en-suite bathroom, which could have been problematic for anyone with disabilities.

Overnight stop on visit to Cornwall.

Location was fine for our overnight stop. The property was an imposing Georgian house , recently redecorated to an excellent standard. Bedroom was huge with a view over the Priory gardens opposite as was the adjoining , en-suite bathroom. Comfortable bed and warm room, what else do you need? Breakfast was an excellent Continental style affair with sufficient of everything that I hardly missed a 'cooked' breakfast which was an optional extra. I am sure that would have been excellent if we had opted for that.

The 'internet' TV was not easy to access for 'non-apple' users and was very limited in channels.

We will definitely book again.

The most beautiful & clean place we have ever stayed. We knew it was a nice place to stay when we booked by looking through the pictures but seeing it in person we couldn’t believe how each room was done so beautifully. The cleanliness was outstanding, Tina was so accommodating allowing us to check in later due to traffic, the bed is so comfortable and the bedding is luxury quality. The breakfast is served when you want it, Tina couldn’t do enough.

The perfect place to stay for us

Breakfast was good- extra £10 for cooked which we did not need but could be made clearer perhaps on booking? Excellent choice though of homemade muesli and pastries. Good hosts and we shared breakfast with two other guests who were super.

We found television tricky so read some of the excellent choice of books instead.

Pleasant one night stay memorable for positive reasons.

Attractive property. Welcoming host. Tasteful decor. Personal touch as only 2 rooms currently.

Not big things, but power sockets were limited so a multi socket extension would be helpful. A hair dryer perhaps too.

Exceptional

The owner met us as we arrived and told us we were actually the first guests as they'd only put the listing live the day before. It's a lovely place with an opulent feel, comfy beds a friendly owners. Great value for money. We were offered a choice of breakfasts and having chose the continental option, were treated to fresh croissant and fruit with yoghurts and great coffee. We felt able to relax immediately and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended
