Loved the traditional feel of the house and that it was clean and well equipped. Very comfy beds with plenty of spare blankets. Easy to get to lots of places and a lovely place to return to at the end of the day.
There wasn’t much outside space but that didn’t bother us.

Great location, quirky lovely cottage.
Only problem would be if we brought friends with another car parking would be an issue but fine for one car.

Lovely location. Full of charm
Spiders. 2 massive ones

Good facilities, everything was there, lovely village.
Lot of dust and cobwebs, shower not very clean.
No information on where to leave rubbish.
Floors dirty. Strange smell in lounge. Bannister uprights on stairs not legal width apart, dangerous for small children.

Lovely location and character filled cottage.

Lovely little village. Sweet cottage with everything we needed.

The welcome pack was good with a bottle of local wine.
The 2 main beds were large and comfortable (apart from the pillows). The large bathroom was excellent with a walk-in shower and a bath.
The dining table was good as it was away from the kitchen and a good size, there were only 3 of us though.
The location was beautiful, a peaceful little village with easy access to Wells, which was our reason for being there. We wanted to be able to see our friend, whose husband was poorly, without having to impose on her hospitality.
There was a small patio with good garden furniture.
I was shocked to find that the cottage only had one parking place as it provides for at least 6 people. We were 3 friends who live in different parts of the country so it would have been a problem if we'd all come in our own cars.
I slept on a bunk bed, which was VERY creaky and had a thin mattress. The room was small room with no curtain at the window and no mirror.
The pillows in all the rooms were hard.
The kitchen was fine but not very well equipped. We could have done with a tea pot, a cafetiere and a salad bowl.
The modern en-suite shower would only be for very slender people as the wide door opened inwards and so was difficult to squeeze around.
It would be useful to have a printed information book as well as the electronic one as I didn't find it until we were leaving. I had so many emails from Booking.com that it was lost amongst them.

Fantastic location. Extremely welcoming and helpful host.
Lack of kitchen equipment. We enjoy cooking when we are away, but the kitchen was under equipped.

Lovely cottage in draycott in somerset. Beautiful character, a very old building but decorated beautifully with all mod cons. V clean well kept comfortable. Lovely community ran shop with all you need two doors up and The Strawberry pub at end of road quaint and lovely for a drink. Host was lovely all prepared easy and checked in on us.
Nothing i can say we didnt like. Coffee plunger / press be a handy addition. 👍

I loved the location and the thick walls kept it cool inside. Loved the local shop literally a minute stroll. There were plenty of towels and the rooms were great.
It saddened me that the courtyard gardens were unkempt. With a few hours work they could both be little oasis especially. The shower stall in the master was extremely uncomfortable to get in and out of it like me you are not a skinny mini , a bifold door would suit in such a limited space. The mattress on the lower bunk bed was very uncomfortable and far to soft , the bed felt it was leaning slightly.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Nook, which was wonderful! Great location very close to Cheddar and Wells and in the heart of the village. The small convenience store close by was very handy too. Marie was so helpful and there was a welcome basket of goodies waiting for us on arrival. The cottage was spotless and the beds super comfy. All in all a fabulous place and we can't wait to go back again!

kitchen was adequate and showers were good, log burner was nice
back small courtyard had nowhere to sit had not been cleaned and a dog poo bag left out there by someone else, front courtyard unavailable after 9pm as neighbours complain about light’s and noise after 9pm, due to young children trying to sleep in a room above, cleanliness was poor at best, bed linen old, creased and extremely uninviting, had two cars as five people staying to be told no parking at cottage so one car on the owners drive and the other wherever we could park in village. Had our 84 year old father with us and the stairs are not suitable for old and infirm.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

The cottage was charming & in a lovely location. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. It was also near to family so we were able to spend some quality time with them too. We would be happy to stay again!
There was nothing we didn't like but I think we all found the mattresses & pillows a bit harder than we're used to at home. It might be useful to have a folder of places to visit etc. I know there is the internet but it can be difficult to know where to start!

The Nook was the most adorable and quaint little cottage. It has been decorated in a rustic and welcoming manner. We decided to take a last minute trip to Cheddar and luckily we managed to book the Nook. Marie, the owner, lives in the cottage opposite and was so kind and helpful and very easily contactable via email. The property had all the facilities you might need for a short break, with a fully equipped and functional kitchen and games for the kids as well as a small patio area for outside meals or relaxation. Cheddar Gorge is less than 10 minutes drive away and plenty of beautiful hikes surrounding the area.
nothing at all.

Location was excellent perfect for local highlights Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Village itself was lovely with shop, pub and cider barn close by.
