My family stayed here for 5 days. The home was perfect for us. Lots of room for all of us. The yard is amazing with the playground for the kids. We had a great evening with a fire in the back yard. 10 out 10.

We are 3 couples that get away together yearly. We liked all the different spaces that allowed us to be together or chill by ourselves when needed. The front deck with the great lake view was my favorite. The A/C was welcoming on the the 36° day! The goodies in the gift basket were a nice surprise😊.
Everything needed for a great getaway.

Check in process easy, house & yard beautiful. Lits of different areas in the home and yard to just relax. Walking distance from the water. When staying at this location guests must be prepared as to what your bringing as you do have to drive into town for any amenities. Thanks

The property was even nicer than the pictures could show. The kids had a blast playing outside and being so close to the beach was a plus.

We don't really have all the right words to summarize every aspect the house is providing. Lavonne is a fantastic host, the house is in perfect condition and we felt very welcoming. The house is clearly bigger than expected, the welcome basket was an exceptional surprise, the small lovely inventory details are placed by heart. We enjoyed the landscape, the games (in- and outside) and the whole stay. If we ever come back to Saskatchewan, this will be definitely our favorite destination. Thank you so much

It was such a pleasure to stay at Hakuna Matata. We attended a family event in the area and couldn't believe our good fortune to find this gem. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! When renting a property easy access and good communication is key. This home has a convenient location which is easy to find and our host Lavonne excelled at communication. She made sure we were acquainted with the property prior to arrival and she followed up immediately on any questions once we were checked in. Furthermore, she left a thoughtful gift basket. Once on site cleanliness and maintenance are of utmost importance - we give this property 5 stars. It is a very up to date home with exceptionally clean floors and fresh carpets. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of dishes, utensils and condiments. The host thought of everything that would improve our comfort and supplied it. Within the home there are lots of design touches to make it feel cozy. We loved the kitchen backsplash made from pennies! The beds are comfortable with nice sheets and there are lots of towels. There are 3 throw blankets which we used on the deck for early morning coffee. Everything is aesthetically pleasing and functional. We had some hot weather and appreciated the air conditioners. The home has a beautiful wrap around deck with an excellent BBQ and a gorgeous view of Last Mountain Lake. Restaurants, groceries, and cute shops are a short ride away and the home is well stocked with games for a rainy day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five days here. The home and outdoor spaces are tastefully decorated, well maintained, and very clean. The host left a fantastic welcome basket and binder of information about the property and surrounding area, both very much appreciated. Check in was a breeze, and communication excellent. We hope to stay again next summer!

We chose this place because it was close to the location of the wedding. Wonderful property with beautiful views. Clean and inviting, Lavonne the host was terrific. Nice welcome basket and responded quickly to communication. Highly recommend.

Stunning view of the lake not only from the wrap around deck but also from the main living area and upstairs rooms, so quaintly decorated and comfortable bed. I had a great rest and left feeling rejuvenated! I enjoyed walking the peaceful town with great views, and found a beautiful hiking path with lovely outside work out equipment close by that Lavonne your host recommended, she was so helpful when I reached out. The cozy swing was my favourite spot to watch the gorgeous sunsets over the lake. Also a cute restaurant close by and a little grocery store, so convenient. This is one of the most beautiful spots in Saskatchewan, I would recommend this place for sure!

Wow! What an amazing, peaceful, warm and cozy space. There is a welcoming atmosphere in every detail. Feels like home away from home. Loads of outdoor space to sun bath or shade yourself, read or swing, meditate and ground yourself, or just relax and have fun. Will definitely return, maybe make it an annual event and bring my family next time.

From booking to check-out, Hakuna Matata was perfect! Lavonne made everything easy peasy, and the house is incredibly warm and welcoming. Everything is just like in the pictures - maybe better!
There was an amazing welcome basket for us - thank you!!! It had gift cards for some local places to check out. And the binder that was left for us gave us all the information we needed about the house, how everything worked, and information on restaurants and local places to visit.
The house was very clean, and it has every convenience I can think of in the kitchen. The beds are crazy comfortable, and the only thing that made me drag myself out of them in the morning was to enjoy a coffee and a book on the balcony to enjoy the incredible view!
Sask Beach is a lovely little village! We enjoyed kayaking in the evening, there's a playground close for the kids (and we went to the one near the main beach as well). Our stay was completely relaxing with walks, water, sunshine and bonfires at night. Like I said - heaven!
We'll definitely stay again the next time we're in the area!
