Unfortunately, I could here a female enjoying herself through much of the late night and then in the morning too. Nobody else's fault but nobody wants to hear that.
The television lost reception at about 9pm on most channels and was also too small to watch clearly from the bed.

On my travels decided I need a good nights sleep. For £70 a night it was just what I needed

Really friendly staff and very comfortable room

Strange service, no half pints, till didn't work so turned back on me to fill out paper work, left me standing waiting for my pint......and then explained...

I booked for one night and checked in and had to be let into my room as there was a problem with the key card system. We ordered our meals and the starts came up at different times and my work colleague ate his main course before I had to go into the kitchen to ask for my main course which was sitting there under the lights.
It was obvious the hotel is so understaffed, the girl on reception was amazing and very professional but was so up against it checking in people, serving behind the bar, taking food orders and letting people in there rooms. Management need to have a serious look at themselves!!

I was not disappointed

It did exactly what we wanted. It was just a nice and clean stay overall. Breakfast choices were good as well.
Easy to check in and check out.
Parking on site.

Nice and comfy (to former Premier Inn levels) but a few things in my room could have been better:
- had to wait for five minutes or so for someone to come to the reception desk to check me in
- there was no cold water in the bathroom sink, so it was hard to brush my teeth without getting scalded
- wall between bedrooms was wafer-thin, so I could hear every word of the couple's conversation next-door
- the ground floor storage room "Fire door - keep locked" had been left ajar
- a fire extinguisher in the corridor was missing

Slight glitch at check in with breakfast added as per booking sorted with the minimum of fuss. Breakfast ladies could've be more helpful all in all great value for money and great stay

I was worried when I pulled up and saw the outside, but on entering I was impressed . The service was great and the room and bathroom was really spacious.
The free breakfast was fantastic.
Will definitely stay again

Neat and Peaceful

Not bad. However the pictures is not what I got.
I got an old room. It was very hot. Not air con, just a fan. The tv was very old school, and about the same size as an iPad screen. There’s no plugs near the bed, only one behind the tv. The shower was powerful. Only got one towel which is a shame if you are coming with a partner.
Bed was comfy.
However was woken up at 7:30 by the workers, sounded like they were doing the bins, and dropping things on the floor very loudly.
If I was to stay here again, I wouldn’t want to stay in the rooms 50-60.

Breakfast was the best hot buffet breakfast I’ve had. Hotel could do with a freshen up, but it was clean and perfect for what we needed

We have stayed at Miilestone Hotel before. It is conveniently located just off the A1(M) so makes a good overnight stop. The hotel is mainly used by contractors and businessmen during the week, but was quiet. The rooms are basic but large and clean. Unfortunately the bed this time was very uncomfortable, and a nearby fire door slammed shut every time someone used it so I slept poorly. The food in the restaurant is basic pub fare but is reasonably priced and good. The self service cooked breakfast is also standard fare but well cooked and hot.
This stay two contractors in the bar used the 'F' constantly which was very unpleasant. We would however use the hotel again to break our journey.

Our room was clean and spacious. We booked a room for 2, but only provided 1 bath towel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurants were convenient and served a delicious full English breakfast. Overall, we had a good experience.

Bit of a mess up on the room booking on the first night asked for an accessible room and was issued one up two flights of stairs but got sorted for second night so all was better then

Dinner was Limited menu. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was nice

In 50 years of Business travel worldwide, staying at 3-5 Star Hotels, The Milestone, Peterborough was a standout that I stumbled on by mistake. This is a 4 Star Hotel at 3 Star Prices, and in some areas exceeded my lofty expectations even better. I stayed here going on a month and the treatment that I received was First Class. A hidden Gem that I did not want to share but felt that I must.

Mid-evening arrival with a warm and efficient welcome.
Room was clean and quiet.
Breakfast was a well-stocked buffet of hot and cold options.
Friendly staff on reception at departure as well.
Very convenient location if travelling on A1m or heading to Peterborough. Will stay again.

Wi was very disappointed with the hotel I booked a room for myself and 2 children when we arrived we was give a room with one double beds no family room my daughter had to share a room with someone else I find this shocking still taken full payment though I will be contacting customer service asap regarding this

Located just off the motorway and halfway on our journey, plenty of parking, looks very much like it used to be a premier inn, so needless to say comfortable bed, nice clean room, if we had to really nit pick and find fault, there was no extractor fan in the bathroom, or at least not working if the was one, 1st world problems!
Despite being very close to the motorway and being able to hear traffic outside, once in the room, you couldn't hear a thing, this may be different in the heat of summer when you would likely need the windows open, but we stayed at the end of May.
Very good value for money and with friendly staff, fairly basic menu but the food was very tasty.
Would have no problems staying there again.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Resturant have nice foor but not much variety.

Staff were exemplary. Great value for money. The only downside was the banging noises throughout the night. Banging doors at 2am. assuming it was other clients rather than service personnel

Nice quiet and clean with good service. Location next to A1

I have awarded a five-star rating, indicating that I was very satisfied with my stay and shall probably stay there again. I think that should be sufficient testament to the service provided. I don't enjoy spending time on lengthy reviews.

Great hotel to stay at great location.

It’s a very run down Ex-Premier Inn, half the old signage is still up. Needs serious investment

Very convenient for travelling, super lovely staff and all so friendly. Especially the lady on the bar Saturday 16th March - so friendly. Super stay, bed super comfy.

Nice greeting on arrival from lady on reception, explained everything I needed to know.
Just caught the kitchen before last orders and enjoyed surprisingly good fish ‘n chips and a pint.
Breakfast was equally good - all eggs cooked fresh and quality hot food as well as variety of cold.
But I must mention a comfortable nights sleep on a very good bed and with four super pillows.
Everything here was done well and the building inside belies its plain-ish exterior, being decorated to a good standard - I liked the sliding panels in the room.
Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

nice staff, limited food choice from the bar but otherwise a pleasant stay

Good for a short weekend stay. Very clean and quiet, not many other guests. Staff in bar/restaurant very friendly and helpful with food allergies. Food very good and freshly cooked. Our room was large and warm, and very quiet (apart from the couple arguing one night at 2.30am!) TV was very small, and bedside lights were over the beds. We are both tall and hit our heads getting in and out of bed! Car is needed to get around Peterborough and area.

It was an overnight stop on the way to our daughter’s. Lovely bar meal & a few drinks . The room was comfortable & very clean . Rooms not as sound proofed as I remember - as we have stopped there on numerous occasions under the previous owners - as in the early hours we could a conversation going on all be it a bit muffled.

Really friendly and helpful staff at check in. Hotel rooms are a little dated but comfortable enough.
4.0
Very comfortable stay at extremely short notice. Just be pepared for very high beds. Great value and good menu offer in the bar/lounge. Felt the breakfast option was a bit high priced so didn't take this up. All in all, enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

A pleasant overnight stay whilst on business. Comfortable bed and clean room.
