A nice, simple private cottage next to the owner’s home.

We were headed down the Oregon Coast from Vancouver Island so this was a great pit stop for us. The place is small but just right for our stay. The hosts were very friendly and it was nice to hear the chickens in the morning while having my coffee.

The guesthouse served our needs. Having a kitchen and laundry in the room is an advantage over most hotel rooms. The space is also larger than most hotel rooms. The door leading from the bedroom to bathroom is only a curtain which may be a problem for some renters. I would suggest a security chain or lock the front door.

It was a cute little house , no ac and of course there was a heat wave for a few days. Owner brought in a couple extra fans. We were there for 2 weeks. The freezer missed being cleaned and frig could have been cleaned better. But owner just started a full time job. Very nice family. There were weeds that needed tended to in the driveway and by the stairs. Other than that it was great.

I was in town to visit my mother. The house worked well for me. My only complaint is that it was very noisy from road traffic and hard to sleep. I'm use to quiet as I live out of town.

The cottage was neat and clean. We were happy to have a really nice washer and drier. The Keurig was great too. The owner was super responsive. We loved how easy it was to get to the ocean, the gorge, and mountains from this location. The shower was a bit challenging, possibly a longer shower curtain would help, or just lowering it would be good. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We slept really well there.

I couldn’t been happier. I found this place exactly what I needed. It was peaceful quiet all the combination you need if you need to cook something.
I didn’t have any issues. I look forward to coming back and using this exact location again it’s perfect for young couple. You don’t have a mess and inconvenience of hotels and all the crap you get with it. It’s perfect.!!!!

I am a bit of a hillbilly, The place could’ve been cleaner, I swept the floor before my wife could see it. The coffee maker was dirty there were several big globs of sticky stuff in the freezer not sure what that was even. Tweakers literally out the bathroom window. And the parking was very tight. Minus the tweakers and the cleanliness it would’ve not been that bad of a place to stay.

I stayed here for a couple days for a work assignment. Overall the stay was great, as others have said, the cottage has some uneven floors and the bathroom is tiny, but it did what it needed to. Very comfortable bed and offstreet parking was the key for me.

The property felt like staying at a family member's guest cottage. The bathroom might be a bit small for a larger person but overall spacious areas to relax. I appreciated the variety of coffee/tea keurig options in the morning.

This place was a better option for us than staying in a 1 room hotel for a week but when we checked in we found the kitchen garbage to be 3/4 full. The second day there we found those tiny ants all over the kitchen window sill and counter, when trying to kill them we brushed against the kitchen curtain and it fell down. There was little communication with the owners. There was also only one roll of toilet paper which was out by day 2. We saw one of the owners on day 3 and told him about the ants, kitchen curtain and TP and said his wife is in charge of it and she works til 5, so we didn’t know if he told her or not. We felt bad knocking on the door, so we bought more tolit paper and ant killer. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, it was nice having a washer and dryer, wifi, but took awhile to get the password from them. The shower was really small like a phone booth. The house is old and the floor was slanting.

My stay at the sweet little cottage was perfect. Lydia was a wonderful host and worked with me on accommodating my changing dates. The bed was super comfortable and it was so nice to be able to have a washer and dryer available. I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The house was clean and cozy.
We were able to walk to dinner and our conference at the Cowlitz County Event Center. The hosts responsive and the check in was seamless. Just what we needed for the weekend, we'll keep our eye out for this place the next time we're in Longview

This house is behind the main house, off a side street. Neighborhood is ok. The house is cozy, clean, and all of the amenities are good quality. Kitchen has everything you need for basic cooking. Centrally located for Kelso Longview area. Owner was very responsive and answered questions immediately. Size is about right for two people. Bedroom is a bit small, with no room for night tables or lamps. Bathroom is a bit tight but very manageable. We enjoyed our stay.
