Always a great stay.

Came back at lunch and my door was wide open and nobody around. I finally found someone after looking for 5 minutes and they said it was for housekeeping. My room was then filled with flies.

It was a nice warm night and the hotel manager made sure the A/C was on and cooling the room. We went for a walk around the property and then when coming back to the room we visited with our neighbors on the front deck outside before bedtime.
The next morning we had a nice breakfast at the cafe on the property for a reasonable amount and said our goodbyes to the neighbor and off we went...we highly recommend staying here at the little chalet motel

Little chalet was adorable and kitschy, older and showing its wear, but they have put on fresh coats of paint and given it a fresher, contemporary feel. Fridge was great, clean and cold. Stayed here on a Saturday night of a long weekend and it was nice and quiet. Staff was very pleasant to deal with and restaurant smelled amazingin the morning. Would definitely stay again, especially if we brought a dog with us. Thank you for the great stay!

Carpets gross. Towels stained in a way I’ve never seen in a hotel. Smelled like smoke although “non smoking”. Hard bed. Thin pillows. Highly recommended for suicide or meeting a low budget mistress.

The bed was really clean and the staff was super nice but there was ants and bugs all over the suite and mouse droppings in the suite and it had a really bad mold smell and the carpet was super dirty and cigarette burnt all over.

The owner was courteous and kind checking us in considering we were a late check in. You can tell they are putting in effort and care to modernize the chalets. I noticed the chain was missing from the door but didnt realize until I was settled in the whole door jamb was cracked from it previously being kicked in. If I had noticed sooner, I would have asked for a different room. My favourite part, though, was the giant new tub that made me wish I brought my favourite bubble bath & rubber duckie.

A very cute basic room. My sister suggests a deep clean to wipe walls, clean carpet. But a great stay for the price. Would definitely stop again!

Hotel was difficult to get to because lack of frontage road access. Room smelt of smoke. Shower would be really hot or really warm and shower head was very low so us tall people got our knees wet at least. They only had two towels one nice one and one rageity one for the four of us. Parking was hard with our pickup and trailer. Some guest were outside in parking lot making a racket at 330 in morning.

The little chalet theme is cute.. nice and private. Rooms are very dated…not dirty though. Mattress was hard as a piece of plywood. Pillows not good. Bathroom was clean and ok.. but not much hot water. I’d say it’s a 59.00 hotel room. Not 70.

Cute little room.

Units are individual buildings, so no noise from neighbouring unit. Checked in easily and room was warm and clean.
The units are not fancy, but roomy, well appointed and clean.

Check in office had a terrible smell

I found the room a little dark, even with all the lights on, I noticed that the tap for the shower came off very easily without even trying.
I felt that the place needed to be renovated and brought up to a more up-to-date setup.

the rooms were pretty unique however, both beds sheets were super dirty , & the towels seemed like they were stained with either red hair dye or period blood.
won’t be returning.

When went to office, worker was on speaker phone, kept talking in another language, finally told him I had to get going and wanted to book in. He gave me key told me where room was, where we were to park was a big pile of mud, behind our parking spot, had to wiggle to park. very narrow place for people to get behind us. When opened door very hot in room and smelled of very strong of cleaner, my husband took a sneezing fit and blowing his nose, we turned heat down. When we left to go to the cattle show, we had a very hard time to lock the door, When we come back it had cooled down and the smell was not as bad. There was NO water glasses in the room, and no clock radio to tell time, and it took us a while to get the TV to work. It was a nice quite place to stay and the beds were comfortable. When we left at 9 in morning it said on key tag to return key to office, it was the first snow of season about 4 inches, office said open but it was locked so had to take key back to room and struggle to lock the door again.

Booked a king size room. Got to the property to check in and was told the only non pet king room was booked previously. After the desk clerk called her boss she gave us the pet friendly room. When we opened the door we were hit with a mixture of mildew and stale cigarette smoke. Even though the room was unrefundable we left and booked elsewhere
