Clean and comfortable. The owners are friendly, and the breakfast was also perfect.
The bed could have been longer, but that's just me. I'm tall.

The hosts gave us info about things to do in Bangor and catered well or food intolerances.
We booked a family room instead of a twin because it was ensuite. But we felt it was a little cramped with two single beds very close together and a bunk bed. It was fine for one night though.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and an excellent price. The breakfast was good and took very little time to prepare. I had parking. It was easy to find. Phenomenal shower pressure. I asked for an iron and one was given. I couldn't be happier.
If I ever need to stay in or near Bangor again I won't bother comparing my options, I'll just book Y Garth if it's available. Other places were twice the price of Y Garth, and I guarantee that I wouldn't have found friendlier people or better accommodation at that price than I did here.
This part of the review is redundant. I was very happy with my stay.

Great breakfast with very friendly and helpful owners, definitely worth a visit
The weather 😂

provided me with a nice breakfast prior to me going off to placement, and always allowed me to pick up my breakfast before i headed off ensuring that i was ready for the day!
I had a few days of illness, and i was constantly asked if i needed anything or if there was anything that could be done to make my stay easier, they were always available to lend a hand if i needed anything or if i had any questions about the area and where to go!

Owners were very welcoming and helpful, room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent, located on a main road near to town, room was quiet though, and it was easy to walk into town.

The location, style and convenience.
Nothing really!

Had an amazing stay.
Great value for money.
Very, very clean.
You can tell that family who runs it takes pride in what they do.
Friendly
Food was really nice.
If anything, tv could have been bigger, but honestly, I didn't care as I didn't intend to watch TV on my trip.

We were going to our daughters graduation. Tho old hall is situated at the top of a steep hill. Adam very kindly offered to drive us up there and refused to take no for an answer.
A different coloured carpet on the top of the step, when you go into the bedroom. This will remind people that there is a step.

The property was so lovely, clean and Christmassy (which was a massive bonus!!). The facilities were amazing and the included breakfast was so tasty! I was staying here as I was speaking in a conference which I was so nervous about and Adam and his family were so supportive and I would’ve been a mess without them! I honestly cannot thank them or recommend this guesthouse more!
I loved every aspect of my stay here.

Joanne and Adam are such lovely hosts! The room was simple but really clean and the bed very comfortable. The shared bathroom was kept very clean. Breakfast (full veggie English for me with coffee and juice) was exactly what I needed. It's right by the local pool, 10min walk from the pier, 15min walk from the high street and 20min from the station. Great value too.
The rooms are designed to be slept in rather than stayed in during the day (not much space to do much other than sleep!) so it's not the best if you're planning on staying in. But this didn't bother me at all.

Excellent location only a 5 min walk from Bangor pier and with good eating places very close by. Town an easy 10 min walk. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. Parking enough for three cars but if there is no space at B&B it is really easy to park up on the road right outside. My shared shower room was immaculately clean and right next to my bedroom. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and delicious. I slept really well and it was really excellent value for money.
Decor in the room was a bit dour, but as the room was really clean and had everything I needed it really would not put me off staying again.

We have been coming to Bangor for 5 years now and this is def the best property for us so far. From making the booking to us leaving the property, Adam was so very helpful. Even checking on our arrival times. Both Adam and Joanne made sure our stay was perfect in all ways. The location of the property fantastic for us too. The breakfasts were super, piping hot and plentiful daily. We will def be back.
Nothing at all.

The owners, a very lovely family, couldn't have been more accommodating. The whole place was incredibly clean and neat and the family lovely to chat to. I had a fantastic night sleep in one of their lovely rooms and a great breakfast supplied in the morning. Check in and check out very easy and straight forward and generally just a wonderful friendly atmosphere. Will be booking again next time I'm in the area for work

Homely atmosphere, could not have hoped for better accommodation and lovely breakfast!
