About this house rental
Whangamata is one of the most popular places to visit on the Coromandel so, beat the rush and book Tamaki Delight for your next family vacation. With four bedrooms the master has a queen bed the second bedroom also has a queen with a set of bunks, the third has a double and the fourth has a single bed. There is also a sleepout with a queen bed, the home comfortably accommodates 11 guests. There are 2 bathrooms each with showers. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area create an inviting and comfortable space. The lounge features cosy seating and a flat-screen TV. There is a dining table with seating for 6 and a well-equipped kitchen that has everything you will need for your stay. Outside is a great area with outdoor couches and a bar leaner an awesome spot to enjoy cold drinks and nibbles. The garden is fully fenced and there is parking available on site.
Whangamata is about an hour and a half from Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga and is a popular coastal town with a fantastic surf and swimming beach. Take a kayak tour to Donut Island or take a trip or hike to Wentworth Falls. There are plenty of shops and cafes in the town take a drive out to Opoutere Beach and check out the Coastal Bird Reserve or grab your paddleboard and head to the estuary where the waters are a bit calmer. Let’s not forget that Whangamata is home to the famous Beach Hop held every March for a week where vintage cars, caravans and motorbikes from around NZ are showcased. Vintage markets are operating and it’s a family-friendly party atmosphere not to be missed!
