We enjoyed our first-time stay. The view was great, the room comfortable. The waffles were good, and they will be upgrading the rest of the breakfast offerings soon. No complaints!

Lovely stay at the Sidney Waterfront Inn. Staff welcoming and very friendly. We had an ocean view room and it was fabulous. Hotel is convenient to town and has a scenic path right outside the doors. The complimentary bikes were great for a casual ride along the trail.

For 330$ and advertised “ocean view” i was shocked to have to look past the parking lot to see the ocean. The room was small and underwhelming. Complimentary breakfast was laughable. All in all I did not get my $$$ worth. An expensive disappointment that will not happen again.

I was charged too much by Expedia. It was advertised at $236.00 including all the taxes, yet when I paid, the bill came to $267.24 in which there was $30.75 worth of taxes added in. This is very dishonest. I will be inclined to never book with Expedia again unless they refund the difference to me.

Beautiful hotel in lovely Sydney. Not too far from ferry. Walk to restaurants and shops. The backyard is the ocean. The hotel is nice and clean and beds were comfortable. They offered free breakfast which was amazing! Staff was nice. The only complaint I have is I wish i would've paid extra for the ocean view. Would definitely stay again.

When pulling up to the property the exterior looked run down, the outside of hotel had the feel of a low cost motel. We stayed on the main floor facing a parking lot, the rooms are not fancy, and the photos used most definitely show the very best rooms but everything was spotless. Towels and sheets were clean, the floors were clean, not even a cobweb was found which is amazing close to the water. The front desk person at check in was not social at all, he was totally business and not the type who comes across as friendly. Lily however, who was work breakfast was lovely, she and all the other day time staff we met were friendly and helpful answering questions and providing suggestions. The AC units are showing their age, very noisy and not effective at all. Breakfast was good with good selection for a continental. All things considered you get what you pay for, the cleanliness made up for some of the other less ideal aspects and we would consider staying again

What a wonderful find the Sidney Waterfront Inn was. You can't beat the location, what with the harbour being just down the street. The staff could not have been more accommodating & the room was neat & tidy with a wonderful harbour view.

Good quiet spot. Breakfast lacks protein options and there is only two tables to sit at. Place is well maintained and clean, but could use some upgrades. No charging outlets next to the beds.

Loved the location of this property. The views from the room were superb. The room was clean and the breakfast provided was very good. Staff were helpful, answering any question we had. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Our room was large and spacious, well furnished and equipped. The staff was friendly and efficient and helpful. The location is awesome, right on the water and walkable to everything.. The breakfast room was quite small and could only accommodate a few people at a time but you could take trays up to your room. thank you for a lovely stay!

This was a super cute stay. We were on the ocean side and had a view of the water and could also keep an eye on our parked car. Breakfast was nice and it was fun to walk around Sidney. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The only downside was that housekeeping never came through to empty garbages or clear breakfast dishes even though we were there multiple nights. This was an affordable home base for some Island adventures.

Sidney Waterfront Inn and Suites was a lovely experience. Our suite was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was superb with karge walk-in shower and huge jacuzzi bath. The view from our balcony was simply stunning, overlooking the waterfront and surrounded by lovely gardens. Excellent all round.

The property has a modern feel, rooms are clean and tidy, beds are firm. The free breakfast had enough options and the coffee was hot and useful. Overall a good location for several good Sidney bars and restaurants and of course, the waterfront.

Overall pleasant stay but for the price the room could and should be moved into the 21st century. Old wall type AC/heater -very noisy. Washroom very old and extremely small.

The room was quiet and clean. Location is wonderful. Lots of options for restaurants walkable distances. We highly recommend 900 Degrees Pizza place. Their Gluten free pizza was amazing. We loved that we could charge our van while staying at the hotel. I made the mistake of booking 3rd party and needed only one of the two rooms booked. I couldn’t get a refund for the second room, but that was on me, not them.

The property is in a lovely location right on the waterfront and close to lots of shopping. The hotel is older but well maintained. The parking was right out front, but has a lot more spaces in the back also. The Riva Restaurant served us a lovely meal cooked to perfection and it is right out back of the motel.
