The beds were sinking in the middle.Woke up with sore muscles.I think you should consider investing in comfortable beds

21st century, Europe, close to one of the largest European capitals, London, and the conditions are like in the 3rd world - filth, dirt, everything destroyed and smelly. I would never go back there for an additional fee and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy

Ok for the price, clean, no complaints from me

My stat was satisfactory to my needs

Do not stay here. It is terrible. Rooms stink of cigarettes! Dirty bathrooms. Sketchy beds. Electric cables on show outside on the patio part. The windows were unsecure. Does not look like the photos in reality.

Didnt stay as we had no car and the hotel wouldnt take this into consideration for a refund. Would never consider staying here again for that reason.

Good location just off M23 , No road noise inside hotel.
30 min walk to Reigate town centre.
Hotel is quite dated/showing it's age, the room has a desk, tv and kettle. the bathroom is adequate.
Pros: good location, friendly, helpful staff, decent price, plenty of parking spaces.
Cons: the bed! the mattress was like a sack filled with old clothes and the pillows were super thin. I was in a single room and it had a single duvet in a double size cover so a lot of loose material.
Would I stay again? Yes but only for one night if I couldn't find anywhere else.

Hmmm... where to start? I'm torn on this one! Firstly, I want to express how amazing and helpful the concierge was. He walked us all the way down to our room, and was super helpful and kind.
Now for the rest of it!
When we pulled into the parking lot, there was barely any parking, because there was some kind of event going on, maybe a wedding or a birthday, either way zero parking. I had to illegally park next to a hedge and walk up the hill to reception. The reception desk was right next to the function room, and the music was so loud, I had to mime to the concierge that I needed to check in. Once we were down into the corridors, you couldn't hear the party. Our room was ground floor and the last room at the end of the building, it exuded a musty dankness. The bathroom was fairly clean but the fixtures are older, and there is no extractor fan which added to the overall dampness. There was mold on the walls each side of the window, and the beds, while comfortable, were uneven and broken down. If you laid on one side, you would naturally roll to the lower side! My kids talked me into staying, citing that it was just for the night before we flew out the next day. The parking was frustrating! If you have a large function, section off some parking for your hotel guests! There is no restaurant here, even though it says there is, also frustrating! There was a little cat that kept us company. The cat was a beacon of hope in an otherwise dissmal stay! Keep the cat!

Overnight stay as flight from Gatwick was early morning. Hotel was lovely and service good BUT the shower was awful. It just trickled water out.

Interesting set up…. Probably got exactly what we paid for at £53 a night without breakfast.
Single rooms, with all the facilities you would expect. Bed was uncomfortable with pillows about 25mm thick. Walls are paper thin, so thin the guy next door rattled my window with his snoring.
The bar was closed and looked like it would never reopen.
WiFi worked.
Looks like the hotel is now used as a base for builders judging by the number of white vans in the car park… I booked it for the location and the price.
If you book here take your own pillow and ear plugs… the plumbing is also very noisy.

Unfortunately had to check out early for family reasons so can only comment on facilities that we saw. Very tired decor needs a good revamp. The room wasn’t awful but our bathroom was poor and with dripping taps. The balcony needed a sweep and dead pot plant replacing. The gutter outside the window was leaking.
However, staff were very friendly and for the price point of our room we would not have made any complaints. An ok place to stay if you’re on a tight budget and planning to be out and about for most of the time.

You’re greeted by an incredibly friendly front of desk staff, really lovely. There’s a £50 deposit for if you break anything which I wasn’t expecting and was a tad disappointing.
The hotel looks a bit like it’s in a 90s time-warp, which personally I enjoyed. The room we stayed in was a little tired, but had a fan and air-con. The TV had a range of channels but also access to Smart TV features - something bigger chains don’t have.
The Wi-Fi was down when we arrived but the staff told us BT had been contacted and it was fixed within a few hours of us arriving. This was a free feature of the room and a really good bonus.
Overall, the hotel and stay is middle of the road. It’s not the Savoy but for its price point this was good value for money. The milk for the tea was out of date for our June stay, and someone has smoked marijuana in the corridor (not the hotel’s fault) but overall I’d be inclined to recommend this.

Staff are so nice and helpful. Definitely staying here again!!

Great for airport. Plenty of parking so ticks the box

Friendly staff upon arrival check in was easy. However disappointed to see the bar closed no restaurant available, hotel needs updating has potential to be a cracking place to stay room was a good size beds were in need of a new mattress, internet was poor happy not to of paid for it! Price per night was about right would not want to pay more.
Plenty of parking available and the location to Gatwick was great and if it’s just a room you need this is ideal but don’t expect to much

Room and hotel in need of some refurbishment throughout. Room very dated and bed and mattress in need of replacement. Shower barely got you wet. Glad was only 1 night after a flight

We knew that we had booked room only, but were disappointed to find that there was no facility to provide breakfast
The room was fine but dated, tired and the bed was small compared to comparable priced hotels

Clean basic facilities at a budget price, well positioned for access to Reigate town centre
Staff very friendly and helpful and met our requirements

I turned up at the hotel after a 4 hour journey from the North in order to catch a flight to Gatwick the following morning. Obviously feeling very tired, I was looking forward to a relaxing evening and a good night's sleep. When I arrived I was greeted by the fact that entire hotel had been taken over by a drunk and rowdy wedding including a very loud disco and live music. After first being met with an empty reception followed by an incredibly rude employee and finally by someone else who insisted I should give them a chance, I was shown my room which was directly above the disco. I was then told the entire hotel was booked by the wedding party and the disco would be going until around 1:30am. Needless to say I immediately found another hotel and left. Why the hotel would still offer bookings under these circumstances is a mystery to me. The least they could've done was offer a pre-warning to any potential non wedding guests. Aside from that the room was tiny, smelled unpleasant, had no view from the window and a very small, almost kid sized bed. The Travelodge I was able to find was infinitely more pleasant and thankfully I was able to eventually get a good night's sleep after the couple hours of stress and inconvenience that I definitely didn't need before and after a long trip. Avoid at all costs.

Do not stay here, there is no restaurant or bar. Shower did not work , very dirty room. The bathroom floor was so dirty that i had to ask for extra towls to lay on the floor. Very poor room lighting. One of the teo lights kept flickering so fast it was like a strob light and gave me a headache or you sit in the dark. I took lots of videos and pictures and am demanding a full refund for what i consider to be the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. It should not even be open. Paper cups and no way to stir your tea of coffee building work going on. The list os endless. Its not letting me upload photos. Funny that.

Basic hotel but the manager was really helpful. Lots of stairs.

There is no communication with the front desk after you are in the room The fire alarm was set off and I did not know if it was get out time or not..could not speak to front desk.
The staff went over and above but the hotel itself is shoddy and needs upgrading ..Also smells of smokers.
If you are a smoker go stay there ..you can smoke. The outside area as you are going into the hotel smells like smoke.

It’s a nice and quiet area, the bed is comfy and there’s also a balcony which is nice to stand on and look into the stars on a clear night

After a long drive and once checked in we dumped the bags and headed to the Bar for a much needed night cap.
Only had Romanian Bear in a bottle .33ml and it was cash only and no change £4.61 a bottle was a bit steep but it was cold.
The room was not like the pictures so I assume I was unlucky.
Shower was weak and only just warm.

We checked in and picked up the key and were told that there were various events and parties booked that day with one scheduled to finish at 2.00am.
We came back to the hotel at 9.30pm and the party was ridiculously loud and they had taken over the whole downstairs of the hotel.
We left the key at Reception and drove home.
I have never been in a situation like this with Hotels.com but the hotel was awful and if you are going to allow a party of that size which is going to go on that late and effectively take over the whole place then you need to inform guests before.
It’s a small hotel and there is no way we would have chosen to stay there had we known this.

Budget hotel for a 1 night stay, passable but has issues. Booked hotel as needed an airport close to airport. Location wise, felt a little odd parking near the side of a busy road as felt a little insecure but there were cameras. Main car park was somewhat full due to an event.
Staff wise, they were very pleasant and couldnt help you enough. On entering as mentioned earlier there was a function and so reception a little busy.
Room was main downfall of the hotel. Bathroom door had swollen at the base and could not be shut and loose floor tiles as walked into the room. Room generally felt dated and needed renovation.
Would I stay again....not sure honestly, would likely look elsewhere first.

It was extreme noisy. The manager told me not to worry the party would be over by 11 pm, but that was not the case.

This hotel is very tired. Dated decor, peeling paint, mouldy corners, old and damaged furniture etc all make this a poor value for money stay - very disappointed.

Nice location, interior rather dated but they did explain they had just taken over the hotel. Unfortunately no bar or restaurant was open - very helpful to arrange taxi and food
Good access for airport

Hi
We stayed here as a cheap place to spend the night before an early flight from Gatwick. The young chap on the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was right at the far end of the hotel on the ground floor with a balcony that went straight onto car park level. Very convenient for getting our suitcases directly to the car at 2am! The room wasn’t in a great state. Terrible in fact. Mould on the walls and peeling paint everywhere. The bathroom was covered in long hair and the toilet rim was covered in public hair. Had it been cleaned before we came here? Doubtful. We had to bath our kids in there after cleaning the bath ourselves and telling them to not touch anything. There was even a cockroach on the bathroom floor when we got there (see photo). Thankfully the beds were actually clean and relatively comfortable. Would we stay here again? Even for the price I’ve got to say no. I’ll pay double or triple the price to stay somewhere better next time.

Clean and comfortable room although the bathroom needs an uplift. The price was very reasonable too.

An enjoyable stay, would recommend to anyone. Will be staying again.

The property name is inconsistent with the services delivered. There is no bar or restaurant. There is no provision for a breakfast (i.e. no a.m. meal) and no obvious sign of hotel staff, aside from an receptionist.
The bedroom is well equipped and comfortable. Ensuite bathroom is clean and very adequate. The room provides a clothes iron, and an ironing board, which is useful.
Car parking space is plentiful, possibly because the property was almost empty. I requested a single room, and was upgraded to a double room.
There is plenty of unoccupied room availability, on a Sunday night, ahead of an early start to the working week.
Something is missing. The property is clean, but is the hotel equivalent of a ghost-town. It is situated sufficiently proximate to London Gatwick Airport,
It has potential, but there's a great deal of work ahead to be carried out,

Booked the hotel purely for the need of a bed for the night that was the sole purpose. The staff were very helpful but hotel is very dated and in desperate need of a revamp. It was pretty clean but there’s only so much you can clean ‘old’ and make it look nice. The sheets and pillow cases smelt clean and felt a good quality so no issues there but the beds weren’t in the best condition. Went to make a drink and when rinsed out kettle prior to use there was a grit left in the sink so decided against that. There was a bit of an odour through the hotel but not sure what it was. Not sure if there was food options there, never looked and went out to eat anyway

Good value for the price, it was just a bed for the night close to Gatwick airport

The door wasnt secure enough for us and we heard shouting in the night so didnt really get any sleep. The bed was uncomfortable and the room.smelt of cigarettes.

Tommy went above and beyond he is an amazing host :)

Dated rooms that could have been maintained better. Communal areas were even worse. Weird smell around the entire hotel. Definitely needs more TLC. Could have been cleaned and maintained better.
