----*Neighborhood description*----
Situated in an eclectic neighborhood bordering Chinatown and Strathcona, close to the Science World area. This neighborhood is great for foodies with a high concentration of Michelin Guide restaurants. Check out Fiorino and Phnom Penh, two Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants located downstairs and around the corner! There are also two Michelin one-star restaurants: Kissa Tanto and Barbara within a 5-minute walk; reservations are recommended. Also check out the Keefer Bar, ranked #2 in Canada and only a 3-minute walk! The immediate area is safe although I advise guests not to venture too far north onto East Hastings St, roughly 4 cross streets North, due to a higher homeless population. In this condo complex and the immediate vicinity, there are many everyday locals and senior citizens who enjoy this vibrant, central location with exceptional food options complemented by a fantastic view of BC Place and False Creek!

Kidde smoke and carbon monoxide detectors installed within the suite plus a building wide fire alarm monitoring system inspected annually. I provide a fire extinguisher within the suite and my unit is right next to the fire escape.

My daughter, two grandchildren and I just spent three days here. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The location is almost on the border of two different environments. When you walk to the left – to get to the Skytrain about 10 minutes away - you see people walking and going about their business. A few blocks to the right and there are people crashed out on the sidewalk. We walked about 10 minutes to the right every morning to have breakfast at a bakery on Powell St. It’s hard to see people in that condition, but no one even looked at us.

We had a great stay here. It was walking distance from the train station where we arrived. Very close to the Canada Place where we were also departing from our cruise. The building was very quiet and clean.

The condo was clean and the owner was very accommodating when I left him a message saying there weren’t any wash cloths in the condo. He sent us some right away. The location is not ideal for tourists as you will need to Uber everywhere to get to Stanley Park, Gastown, any hiking. Also- it isn’t noted there isn’t any A/C in the unit. While it did have portable AC units for the bedrooms, my son slept on the pull out couch and it was miserably HOT. Especially after using the oven to warm up pizza. I would stay here again if it had been closer to the hub of activities.

My daughter, nephew and I had a great stay. The location was close to many things as promised! The host was easy to contact and very helpful. Would stay here again!

This place was way too small for more than 3 in my opinion. The second bedroom was not even big enough for a suitcase. The towels were so smelly we couldn’t use them. They were replaced quickly but our day had already begun. The neighborhood was too close to the homeless sector for me to feel safe. Maybe I’m a bit of a prude because I’m not used to hanging closely with people who openly do drugs on the street but that’s not going to change. They do the drugs and then pass out while standing up. I suppose they were too strung out to chase us but scary none the less.

Mr. Li is an outstanding host!! Great communication!! The place is perfect, comfortable, clean and nicely decorated! Had everything we needed for our stay.
