About this house rental
Come stay on the beach in Carpinteria!
The quaint bungalow is a three bedroom 1.5 bathroom, equipped with an outdoor shower.
The front porch sits on the sand and has hosted many evening cocktail hours as the sun sets.
A back deck has a BBQ with a picnic table to enjoy classics like burgers and hot dogs, or enjoy the seafood offerings of Santa Barbara.
The bungalow is a short walk or bike ride from Linden Street, Carpinteria’s main street lined with shops and restaurants.
Unlock the door and enter the quaint kitchen. The hardwood floors provide the background setting for your morning cup of coffee and evening’s spent cooking fresh fish and vegetables from the local farmers market. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials, as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience.
A cozy, hidden room off the kitchen has a twin trundle bed that turns into a full bed, a perfect reprieve for an afternoon nap.
The open living area has vaulted ceilings, equipped with a Smart TV. A dining table sits in front of the picture window with a view of the Pacific Ocean. A fireplace provides ample heat to create a cozy feeling during the drafty winter months.
The Bunk Room is equipped with four beds and has been home to many pillow-and-blanket forts. Plenty of sunlight pour in through the wall of windows.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, an attached powder room, and a window that faces the beach, a perfect place to fall asleep listening to the crash of the waves and wake to the sounds of gulls.
Winter Renters: during the winter months (December - March) there is a sand berm that is built in front of the house to protect the houses on the beach from winter storms. The berm will block your view of the ocean but you will still have full access to the beach / ocean.

Great place when you have one boy and one girl teenagers. They each had their own room to retreat to for privacy. Open the front bedroom window a bit to listen to the gentle wave sounds all night long. Private front porch to drink coffee and watch dolphins frolicking every morning. Yummy meals a short walk away. Pick up volleyball games at the end of Linden. Our second time here and the whole family is happy.

My best girls and I had an incredible time at this property! The location right on the beach is unmatched and it was an adorable space for the 8 of us to stay. It is so cute and had most everything we needed!
A couple notes:
It was quite dusty/dirty. I think it’s been a while since some surfaces were cleaned. We expected it to be sandy since you can’t really avoid that on the beach but a lot of us had allergies act up while sleeping.
The listing says there’s a queen bed when really it’s at largest a full. It’s difficult to sleep 2 people to this bed so one of us was on the couch. This was OK just not what was listed.
