Unwind in our classic 4 bedroom, single-family home in Oak Park. Its perfect for families or groups, offering you a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, 2 living spaces, 3.5 bathrooms, dedicated work spaces, a backyard oasis and parking. With its historic charm, proximity to Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, Columbus Park and easy access to the expressway, it's central for exploring Oak Park's cultural gems. Book your stay and enjoy a delightful blend of suburban tranquility and urban convenience.
Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs are difficult to accommodate. If you need additional time, please consider booking an extra day.

Bookings made on behalf of others are allowed for some unique circumstances so please inquire if you are planning to book for someone else but do not intend to stay yourself.
There are 2 reserved parking spots included with your reservation; one garage space and one uncovered exterior space. When parking in the shared garage, please be sure to only park in front of the "Visitor Parking" sign, the second space from the left. All other garage spaces are occupied. The exterior parking space is on the parking pad immediately to the left of the garage, in front of the wooden gate that leads to the back yard. Please do not park in the parking lot.
For additional parking, please note that parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.
*Pet Fee - One pet is allowed with an additional **$300** payment. Please let me know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a furry friend! Any unauthorized pets will result in in a $500 penalty.*
Very simply, please respect my home and my neighbors. Please read these rules carefully and take them seriously, failure to comply will result in forfeiture of your deposit and/or termination of your reservation without a refund.
1.) No parties or additional overnight guests without prior approval. Noise disturbances reported by neighbors or police are unacceptable.
2.) Additional visitors are not permitted at my property. Only registered guests may access the property for the entire duration of your stay.
3.) Please ensure you have left the premises and returned any keys issued to the designated location by the agreed upon check-out time. Failure to do so will result in a $250 late check-out penalty.
4.) Absolutely no smoking (of anything) inside the unit or on building premises. Additionally, local law prohibits smoking within 15 feet of any entrance. If there is evidence of smoking, including odor, there will be a $1,000 smoke remediation charge. “Smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, carrying, or possessing any lighted or electronic cigar, cigarette, pipe, vaporizer, joint, or other tobacco or marijuana product in any manner or in any form. No marijuana, medical or otherwise, may be used, grown, stored or consumed on the premises.
5.) Please be respectful of my neighbors and be mindful of noise and loud music. Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM daily.
6.) Pets are not allowed at the property unless previously approved and pet fee paid. You will be charged $500 if you bring an unauthorized animal.
7.) Lockouts will result in a $150 fee per occurrence. Additionally, lost keys will incur a $50 per key fee.
8.) I acknowledge that as the primary guest on the reservation that I am staying at the property for the entire duration of the stay and responsible for the actions of all guests. If you are NOT staying at the property and booking on behalf of others, please contact us as limited exceptions are permitted to this rule.
9.) Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis only. Local groups looking to use the property for a party, gathering or other group event are expressly prohibited and your reservation may be canceled.
10.) Lost and Found: We are not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you let us know what personal items you are missing we will make an attempt to locate those in our lost and found and have them shipped to you at your own expense. Please be sure to check the home (including all drawers and closets) before you depart to ensure you have all of your personal belongings.

* To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of your stay, provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, pass through our verification portal and, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. * We do additional verifications using AutoHost after you book and we reserve the right to reject bookings that fail our tests. Additionally, you must have a good track record on Airbnb as a guest.

We were two families and the inside of the property was superb. If you care about cooking healthy during your stay, they ‘ve got healthy cooking utensils. Space is big enough for kids to play around. We enjoyed our stay overall. It was indeed home away from our home.
