Our beautifully decorated second floor apartment has it all. Sunny, spacious and clean. Three large bedrooms with newly renovated kitchen and bath. Large screen television, cable, wifi, and private outdoor space. Parking available. Walk to everything that Oak Park has to offer. Located just 2 blocks from the el train and all that down town Oak Park has to offer. Beautiful historic building and tree lined street with loads of charm. Parks, restaurants, shopping and quick, easy transportation to Chicago all within minutes from our place.

Amazing stay, such a cute place, perfect for our friend group to visit the city for the weekend. Michelle was so kind and helpful as well. We would definitely stay again next time we come to Chicago, and free parking was such a relief too.

The rental apartment is very cute and clean. When we had questions the owner was quick to respond. The house is in a beautiful scenic neighbourhood with excellent restaurants nearby. It is also close to the train station which we used daily to avoid parking in downtown Chicago. I would highly recommend this Vrbo to others

We stayed this July for four nights. We were two families of 4, including 4 total kids under 10.
This was an absolute perfect place to stay. We walked to the train station each day and went into the city for activities. But honestly, we all loved getting back to Oak Park at the end of the day. The neighborhood is awesome and should be the blueprint for neighborhoods in cities everywhere.
The host was responsive and helped with recommendations. Street parking was perfect, considering we were road-tripping.
If I was going to Chicago again, I'd book this same place again in a heart beat. I hope to come back soon.

This property is absolutely beautiful in a quiet suburb of Chicago. It’s in a very convenient location, short walk to public transportation. We stayed over the weekend and were able to enjoy the Oak Park farmers market on Saturday morning. The house itself was very cozy with comfortable beds and a kitchen with all the basics you might need to make a meal. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We stayed here for our son's wedding at the Cheney Mansion. It was the perfect location! The place was clean and just as described in the listing. Communication with the owner was great. The porch in the back was so nice too!

My husband, two (college-age) kids and I stayed for almost two weeks in this charming apartment. The unit is on the second floor of a classic two flat walk-up on a quiet residential street in Oak Park, within easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and shops in both the Marion downtown district and Oak Park Avenue, so it was an excellent location. Street parking is available and it was never an issue to find parking (even later at night). The apartment is well-appointed, clean and very cozy; the decor is so charming and we had everything we needed. Michelle is a wonderful host; she and her husband made us feel welcome and checked in on us to see if we needed a restock on any supplies. The four of us definitely had enough room and although there is one bathroom, it was roomy with shower, a large tub and two sinks. The kitchen and washer and dryer came in very handy. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was a 2nd floor oasis with such good energy and detail to design! The beds were comfy, the little kitchen nook counter was so functional and the bathroom was beautifully upgraded! A great place to stay outside of the city or for those wanting to be never the Oak Park area.

We had a wonderful stay during the Chicago marathon weekend! The location was perfect, out of the city but a quick walk to catch the L on the green line to get into downtown. Rooms were comfortable. Instructions were easy to get acquainted to the house. It was nice they had cable to watch TV easily. The neighborhood was darling with a coffee shop close by and other restaurants.

Michelle was amazing and the property exceeded our expectations. Lots of room for 5 adults and 2 teens. Only one bathroom, but it is beautiful and big. We utilized public transportation. The green line was a couple of blocks away - we walked to it easily. I highly recommend this property. Clean, spacious, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. This well-decorated property drew us because of the location (close to relatives) but we really liked it because it felt like home. I would have rented such an apartment if I lived in the area. What a lovely, lovely home! Michelle and Russ were wonderful hosts and it was so nice and refreshing to stay in a charming bedroom community versus the city. It was a short Uber to most spots and the local downtown area, food and amenities were great. We were so comfortable in this home and just adored the decor. 5 stars!

This is a wonderful Oak Park apartment. It's cozier than it appears in the photos. The street and neighborhood are lovely and the hosts could not be more thoughtful. Don't worry about there only being one bathroom. It's large with two sinks and a great shower. It's in the back, away from the other rooms, and has a nice quiet fan with a timer. We even used the back porch for a meal in November. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner with our family and Michelle made sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like home away from home.

We were a group of 6 in town for a concert! This place was great, very nice and chic. Very clean and really cute and safe neighborhood. There's only 1 bathroom which might be pushing it for bigger parties, but it was just fine for us and we had an excellent stay.

Stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils for our large group. We were in town for a festival and this house was perfect for our needs, 8 minute walk to the train gets you downtown and easy parking right in front of the house. Beds were comfortable too. Will stay here again!

Michelle was a fantastic hostess! The second floor apartment was perfect for our needs and the owners live on the first floor if there are any concerns. The neighborhood was quaint and very walkable. We were a short distance from downtown Oak Park, the Frank Lloyd Wright Studio and the “L”. I appreciated the outdoor deck to relax on in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our group to move about without feeling like we were on top of one another. While I personally feel the location has a stronger adult vibe, Michelle has provided some kid friendly games and there are books for many in the apartment. All guests will need to be able to walk the stairs leading up to the front door and second floor apartment. One other note of consideration, if you have a larger group try to carpool. This booking has available street parking but space is limited. I’ll definitely check out this place again on our next Chicago area trip!

Our stay in Oak Park was just perfect thanks to the hospitality of Michelle and Randy. The apartment had everything we needed for our family of 7 (plenty of towels, dishes, books, etc.). Within walking distance of a playground, restaurants, and coffee shops. I couldn’t have asked for more accommodating and friendly hosts. My family truly enjoyed our short time in Chicago because of this gem in Oak Park!
