A group of old friends met up at this wonderful home for 8 nights in February and there were no disappointments! The views, deck, outdoor kitchen (even fun in the winter), hot tub, location, ski out ("adventure in," we called it), space, kitchen, bedrooms, everything was ideal. The kitchen was stocked with all one would need to cook a big dinner such as rice cooker, crock pot, and everything else you'd expect. The rooms were well equipped with towels, pillows, etc and there were specific hot tub towels so you didn't have to use your shower towel. The two different living areas allowed for privacy and space for folks in the mood for different activities (and, we watched the Patriots win the Superbowl in the comfy TV room downstairs - very memorable!) I really cannot think of a thing that wouldn't rank this house as the perfect place to stay. A big family, multiple families or groups of friends will be very comfortable here. (I would bring your own shampoo and conditioner if you don't like 2 in 1s...)
Thank you Tinka for being a remarkable host - you were so easy to communicate with, you were prompt in answering emails and questions which is so appreciated.
5 stars all the way! We will be back.... oh, and the skiing is amazing for all levels, our group was all experts and we were not disappointed!

Beautiful as described. View of the ski runs and procession of groomers from the hot tub was a daily ritual. Very well stocked kitchen. As others had said ski out was easy, ski in was either a journey with a short hike or short ski down white Otter to a couple of walk in options. While that would have been fine, we ended up leaving the gear in the car and driving to Moonlight (3 minutes) and Madison (10 minutes). At Moonlight we parked at Pony Express lift for the 10 step walk to the chair :). Never had a lift line...big sky rules!
4.9
comfortable and well equipped home close to lifts and hiking trails suitable for 3 families with children - great space for hanging out after activities on the main floor and downstairs. The house is ski out but on the way back you have to hike up a steep hill - the first day we were dying but at the end of the stay we were able to hike it up without much problem - 5 days of hiking builds your strength.

First time to Montana and our family had a really great time skiing/snowboarding and just spending time together at your cabin. The cabin was very clean and organized. The kitchen had everything needed and we cooked a lot while there, even made snow cream a couple of times with the foot+ snow we received while there. Coming in after a long day on the slopes and getting into the hot tub to relax with the snow coming down was great!! We used the grill and outdoor fireplace as well, can't adequately say how much we enjoyed ourselves!! Everything, just perfect.
Thanks, hope to go back again next winter.. :)

Great house, in a beautiful setting. Family of 10 had plenty of room. Hope that we can come back and stay when Covid-19 doesn't close the mountain. Huge thanks to the property manager/owner for being so responsive, understanding and accommodating when they closed the mountain. We made the best of our trip thanks to you!
Back deck/Hot tub is amazing!
Maintenance note (not a complaint) - water pressure seems to be a problem at the kitchen in particular, also ice maker not working.
Thanks again, hope we get to come back!

House was extremely nice, well stocked with supplies, and in a great location. TONS of space and a really great and comfortable place!

Nice property, no issues , exterior fireplace is very nice....restaurants around are minimal and need reservations in advance

Our extended family of 10(8 adults and 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. It was very comfortable. We loved the kitchen and were able to prepare several meals. The hot tub was a hit. We mostly drove to Big Sky resort for skiing but a younger member of the group used the ski out feature. Having a Christmas tree set up for us was a nice touch. The location of the house is perfect. We needed a couple of minor items fixed and the management team responded immediate. Thaa sad no you!

Our group of 10 absolutely loved our time here at the property. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything we needed to cook for our group, the beds were comfortable, and the house was clean and well maintained. Our crew loved the view of Lone Mountain from the deck, and we enjoyed seeing elk pass though the backyard daily. We all found our first trip out west to be charming and perfect. We saw much of Yellowstone park during our stay, and the drive down to the park was as beautiful as the park itself. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay for our family vacation. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the outdoor area with deck, fireplace and hot tub was great. Some of the outdoor furniture is rickety, but we still had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this property for a group getaway.

Our time in Big Sky could not have been better! The snow was great and the hot tub was the perfect ending to a day of good skiing. The house is big with plenty of beds for a large group but still felt cozy. The views of the mountains from the house & the deck are immaculate! Skiing off from the house to the White Otter lift was so convenient, we didn't have to mess around with packing our gear, parking, etc.
Getting back to the house we noticed that the signage isn't perfect & got lost a bit in the neighborhood at the bottom of the mountain. The hike back up from the White Otter lift was a bit more of a workout than we expected, especially after a hard day's skiing, but it was doable & we were back at the house pretty quickly. That's the only thing that wasn't absolutely perfect & it was a minor quibble at best.
Great property & Trinka was very responsive. Highly recommended!
4.9
Property had great ski out trail but really shouldn't be called ski in unless you like to climb large hill with ski/snow board. Also Hot tub wasn't working for a while and homeowner should have disclosed this - after hiking up to ski in - really could have used hot tub.
4.9
The home was perfect. Very clean and spacious for our family vacation. The owner was very communicative and pleasant to deal with. In fact, a cellphone was left behind and the owner quickly made arrangements to ship it home to us. Wonderful home, wonderful owner, wonderful place!
4.9
The property was great for our family and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had.

There were 10 of us… plenty of room… fully stocked… incredible views!!! Porter, the property manager, went above and beyond to help us out. We got stuck going in (make sure you have 4 wheel drive)… he pulled us out and also took us to the grocery store the first night!!! The hill walking back up is no joke after a day of skiing… but very doable. Would definitely stay here again.

The ski in and out needs to be explained more fully. It was a ski out but the in required a climb up a hill which for younger children and deep snow was quite difficult. We made it work but wasn't what we expected.
The garage was nice and large enough for two SUV's. The layout was perfect for us. Lots of beds for children downstairs. Nicely done!
We needed humidifiers and they had four but none were functional. I called the number I was told and spoke to a gentleman who said he would pass it on but never heard back.
We hauled water downstairs instead. The ice maker was broken so we could have no filtered water or ice though they supplied two bags of ice to work from. Had we been told we would have bought more water.
Our mattress was old and when my husband turned over I tended to bounce out the other side. We did make it work and it was for only 6 days. My sister said hers was old as well.
The house itself was situated in a lovely setting and the views were gorgeous. The driveway was cleaned when needed. When opening the kitchen drawers I found several really dirty with maybe bug droppings inside. Just needed a good deep clean.
The heat and cool worked well and generally overall except for the above was very nice.

This home is warm, welcoming and keep in impeccable shape. It was very clean and had most amenities you need, I would recommended that maybe a griddle be added to kitchen, if there was one I did not find it 😉
Skiing from home was great but the return after a day of skiing was a bit more difficult.

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It has beautiful views and comes stocked with everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home!

We all enjoyed our stay.
4.9
We enjoyed our stay at this house! It offered us a convenient location to all the hiking trails, biking, zip line and more. The house was well appointed with large bedrooms, fireplace outside on the deck, hot tub and more. Thank you!
4.9
We had a great time. The house is perfect. The location is great. The scenery is beautiful. The ski in was quite a challenge at the end of the day though. We would absolutely come back!
4.9
We had a wonderful time in this house! Had everything we needed. The ski in was fine, but really not able to ski out. The property manager, Chris, was very helpful when we had a few issues with the garage door. Unfortunately, my husband had a skiing mishap which put a damper on the trip, but our kids all had a complete blast!
4.9
Well located and well maintained; we enjoyed our stay very much.
4.9
We loved staying in your home. The first morning we woke up to a moose laying in the back yard eating grass. We had 2 nights with 3 bucks and 2 doe mule deer roaming around the house. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of horseback riding. The outside fireplace was enjoyed while cooking steaks on the grill and eating on the back patio. So peaceful and beautiful.
4.9
We really enjoyed this property. The house had more than enough room for our 7 family members. Love the large kitchen table with plenty of seating. Beautiful location with large lot away from other homes. We saw a fox and herds of dear from the back deck! We used the Yellowstone tour guide and rafting company recommended by the property owners and had excellent experiences. Easy check-in and check-out and easy access to groceries and restaurants in the nearby villages. Really enjoyed the Farmers Market as well. Would definitely stay here again!
4.9
Beautiful property and excellent management service. Quality bedding and towels. Well equipped kitchen. Every bedroom had a humidifier. Very comfortable living room with great views. Large hot tub with beautiful views. Management company was very responsive to clearing a clogged sink (our fault) and replacing a broken humidifier. They also cleared the driveway and decking when it snowed.
The bunk room is on the lower level is in a shared space and adjacent to a hallway, so it is not private. One of the private bedrooms on the lower level is tiny.
The property is advertised as ski in/out, but it's not really ski in. To get back to the house you need to take long flat, and sometimes uphill, cat tracks requiring lots of hard poling ("doable" for skiers but would be a "suckfest" for snowboarders), or alternatively walking uphill about 100 m from Otter lift. Either way, it's a strenuous trek to get back to the house from the slopes. Snowboarders would have to walk up from Otter lift.
4.9
We enjoyed the house. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. I would recommend this to anybody traveling to Big Sky. Host was great also.
4.9
The house was great along with location. As advertised. Beautiful home.
4.9
The house offered a comfortable space for our family trip. It was clean and well equipped with supplies in the kitchen and fun games in the living room. We had a toddler with us and it provided many supplies for this age too. Over all we had a fun and happy time in this house. The location is very scenic and it took us 1 hrs and 15 min to get to Yellowstone National Park.
4.9
Fabulous time. Very well might come back with friends!
4.9
Great location and view! Lovely mornings watching the sun rise reflect off lone peak. Stayed here with 10 adults total for a ski trip. Hot tub was great. Would recommend 4WD for the driveway if there is heavy snow!
4.9
Easily booked and owners answered all questions. Lovely house!

I can’t stress this enough, in no way shape or form is the property “Ski In”, it should not be listed as such, and regardless of their description of the ski in process in the listing, it is still horribly misleading.
My group, who are all quite physically fit adults, had trouble with the climb up the hill from the bottom of the White Otter lift. It is steep, almost impossible to hike in ski boots, and flat out unreasonable to be listed as such.
The rest of the house was fine, it’s a decent place. Downstairs fireplace doesn’t work. Bunk beds downstairs are in what appears to be designed as a living room w mud room style lockers built into one of the walls. It’s fine if you’re trying to cram as many people in the place as possible, but this isn’t a bedroom and renters shouldn’t be anticipating such. I’d say it’s fine for kids, adults wouldn’t be happy.
Binder in the home says people will come plow / remove snow from driveway and decks if there’s any significant accumulation. It snowed three days while we were there, no one ever came for this service. The driveway was a bit difficult, without a 4 wheel drive suv it would’ve been impossible. Several inches of snow on porch and on hot tub cover. Manageable, but not the service that was stated.
In short, a premium price was paid for this rental because of ski in ski out and it did not deliver. Anyone with young children would’ve had a mess on their hands. Simply put, there are true ski in ski out homes available for this price, this isn’t one of them.
4.9
My family rented this beautiful home for the week of Christmas and it was a great experience! There were 4 couples and one baby, we all fit very comfortably in the house. Having stayed at many ski houses over the years, this by far was the most well stocked kitchen and home we have experienced. The views from the house were stunning, plenty of space for ski gear. While definitely ski out, the ski in was a little bit of a challenge. Quite a big hill to hike up, but that is noted in the guest handbook so we had a heads up. Over all, we would recommend this rental to all!!
4.9
The most breathtaking views and incredible location. House was well stocked with everything, so comfortable and the house manager was very responsive whenever we needed him. Would definitely highly recommend!!
4.9
The house is very comfortable for 2 families. The location is great. The ski out is very easy at the top of the driveway, the ski in a workout but doable. The ski in would be tough if you had little kids that needed their skis carried. You have to take skis off and walk to get back to the house. Loved that the house seemed to be well stocked in the kitchen and everything else. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and this house!
4.9
Property is absolutely amazing!!! Will definitely be back to stay again and the views of Lone Mountain was breathtaking!
4.9
The property was beautiful, amenities precisely as described and the overall booking / check in / check out process was very easy. We visited in the summer and as great as the house was then, we can see how great the property would be during ski season.
4.9
We enjoyed the great views and the location to Big Sky and Yellowstone. Also, the house was clean and well appointed giving us all we needed as a base to enjoy each other and the great area around us.
4.9
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful and comfortable home. It’s located in a great spot with views of Big Sky and Lone Mountain. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The owner / manager was very responsive. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness due to a couple of the downstairs showers were not very clean when we arrived. We will definitely return.
