Fox Haven is an eclectic designer “rustic modern” 5 bed/4 bath home that has been extensively updated & curated in 2022, with both modern & antique furnishings, to create a comfortable & warm environment for families and large groups. Whether staying indoors to play board games in front of the fireplace, cooking gourmet meals, watching movies & playing pool in the A-frame gameroom, soaking in the hot tub under the stars, or enjoying lake access, this property offers everyone something to enjoy.

⭐️ FOX HAVEN ⭐️ is large enough to accommodate multiple couples, families or groups looking for a place that is stylish, yet comfortable, with endless amenities and of course lake access to Lake Arrowhead *PLEASE SEE LAKE RULES*. We are a 15 min walk to Tavern Bay Beach Club and UCLA Conference Center, a 7 minute drive to Blue Jay (Jensen's Grocery Store, Starbucks, Cinemas, Restaurants, Rite Aid, etc), and a 10 min drive to Lake Arrowhead Village ... perfectly situated in North Lake Arrowhead, but far enough to offer privacy and an escape from hectic city life.
The owners have worked in the design field in the film industry for many years, and has been furnished with an eclectic blend of new and antique decorator pieces, as well as some furnishings and accessories have come from prominent film and television sets.

* Kitchen with all major appliances, drip coffee maker, coffee press, pour over coffee (NO Keurig sorry trying to be more sustainable), toaster oven, dishes, glasses, knives, utensils (adult and children), pots, pans, trays, serving platters, cooking utensils, knives, some spices for cooking (please reach out for specific items)
*Bedroom #1 w/ Queen size bed (good for older family members so that they don't need to climb stairs), black out curtains
*Bathroom w/ shower across from Queen bedroom
*Mudroom/Office w/ Epson wifi printer and Ethernet or wifi for computers

*Bedroom #4 Full size bed and bunk beds (2 twin beds), black out shades
*Bathroom - completely remodeled with new vanity, designer tile, and separate soaking tub, shower and toilet area
*Gameroom with pool table, popcorn machine, lounge area with sectional sofa and chair, 75" Samsung tv with Roku (Apple tv could be provided upon request)
*Nest thermostats (1 zoned to control 2nd floor & 1 zoned to control mini split for Game room)
LOWER LEVEL
*Bedroom #5 2 twin beds (1 twin is a loft with a HIGH ladder so not recommended for your younger children) and private bathroom with shower
*Large tv with Roku
*Separate Nest thermostat (zoned to control that bedroom only)

*Lake Arrowhead Lake Access Rules*:
Lake Arrowhead is a private lake for residents of Lake Arrowhead, but guests are allowed to walk along the lake, or charter a boat through Mckenzie Water Ski School. Unfortunately the ALA has restricted all short term guests use of the Beach Clubs & private docks. There are smaller beaches where guests can enjoy, please reach out to our local manager for information on where to go. In order to access the lake, we will need to pre-register everyone in your party to receive wristbands. Once you have been registered, you can visit the Lake Arrowhead Association in the Marina, & receive your wristbands which are $10/a day. Make sure to bring our Lake Passes, they are required!
Anyone can also ride the Queen, Lake Arrowhead's historic ferry, but make sure to book a reservation in advance.

*NEIGHBORHOOD NOISE CURFEW*
Please be respectful of the quiet residential neighborhood and adhere to the county-wide noise curfew at 10 pm. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Ignoring this can lead to possible eviction with no refund, as well as the cost of a fine if County Enforcement is called & a violation is received. We do have Noise Sensor devices inside & outside of the house, which will alert us if noise levels go beyond what is allowable.
*GUESTS*
Only the guests on the confirmed reservation are allowed on the property & within the home. The primary renter must be 25 years or older. Occupancy is limited to 10 people, & any extra guests must be approved by owners in advance of the reservation & are subject to additional fees. Guests are allowed access to all spaces except 2 locked owner closets in primary bedroom.
*The Property may not be used for the purpose of carrying on any business, profession or trade of any kind or for the purpose other than as a private single-family vacation rental.
*Renter will promptly notify Owner of any damage, or of any situation that may significantly interfere with the normal use of the Property or to any furnishings supplied by Owner. Do not move any furniture inside or out.
*DAMAGE POLICY*
The mandatory Rental Protection Insurance will pay for any damage up to $1500.00. Renter agrees that any damage in excess of the above amount or anything not covered by the VRBO CSA damage protection plan will be charged to Renter’s credit card.
*CANCELLATION POLICY*
100% refund 60 days before check-in
50% refund 30-60 days before check-in
Otherwise, no refund
*GARBAGE*
Garbage cans are located inside the garage. No garbage shall be left outside which could cause a fine of up to $1000. If there is garbage left in excess of the containers, you may be charged a $50.00 fee for its removal.
*PARKING*
Parking for 5 cars only: 4 cars can fit in the driveway and 1 car can fit in the dirt pad in front of the house. No parking is allowed in the garage, the doors are narrow and we wouldn't want anyone scraping their cars. No street parking is allowed per county rules, and if fined, guests will be responsible for $1000 fine.
*PET POLICY*
Please note pets are allowed, only with prior approval of the owner. There will be a pet fee of $100 for a dog, and will be required at booking. A pet must be added to the reservation prior to check in. If your animal destroys anything on the property, normal charges will apply to any damages. Some furnishings are vintage and non replaceable, so please make sure you are watching your pets and being respectful to the furnishings and property. Be aware that we are in a quiet residential area, and if excessive barking disturbs the neighbors, this may incur a noise fine of $1000 from the county of San Bernardino.
*SMOKING*
No smoking of cigarettes or vaping is allowed on this property, inside or out. If this rule is violated, we reserve the right to remove you from the property without a refund, and charge any extra cleaning fees necessary to remove the smoke odor.

*WINTER NOTES*
Snow chains are required to be carried in vehicles in the Winter.
Please check roadway conditions, including chain controls, road closures, and more with the Caltrans "Quickmap" app or on the Caltrans website.
The driveway and entryway will be cleared of snow upon your arrival, but it will be the guest's responsibility to maintain those areas during your stay. Thankfully our home's driveway has a level access, and our street is plowed by the county. Snow shovels are located in the garage, near the trashcans by the garage door, and we can provide a contact for snow removal if you would rather hire out. Snow shovels and snow melt will be provided.
Security Cameras:
We have a Ring door bell camera & 4 Video Cameras at the exterior of the property only. They are located at the front entrance facing the front door, facing the driveway, facing the parking area in front of the house, and at the back deck entrance. This is only to monitor the parking and occupancy. We cannot view the hot tub from the back deck camera. Please do not disconnect any cameras.

This home has so much room... It's truly a gem!
Everything was perfect with the exception of the lake access. We were under the impression based on the description that we would have access to the lake with the owners lake pass and with the purchase of a $10 wristband. However, that was not the case. Yes, you can enter the lake area with the pass and a wristband but there isn't any beach space to hang out other than the beach club which renters cannot access even with the pass and wrstband. A little disappointing since we had planned on spending time lakeside.
