We came for a baseball tournament in nearby Waimea. The house was perfect for the 4 of us! Plenty of room, beds were SOOOO comfy, and the outdoor shower was awesome. We used that more than the indoor one! The layout of the house is great and the yard is spacious. It’s on the quieter side of the island, which is perfect for relaxation; but still close to everything great. It also has lots of goodies to use at the beach. I can’t say enough how much we loved this place; and to top it off Chad & Liz are amazingly attentive hosts. Mahalo for letting us stay in your home.

Family loved the convenience of walking to grandparents’ home that was just a few houses away and the beach. Neighborhood was safe and friendly. Enjoyed the outdoor shower after a day at the beach. Rental was stocked with equipment for outdoor activities including snorkeling. Would definitely want to stay there again. Winters would be best since weather is cool and no AC is needed.

Great accommodations. Very clean and all the conveniences. This was our 4th trip to the island, and our most comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfy, bathrooms clean and nicely decorated, and kitchen has everything you'd need to make meals. The neighborhood was a bit noisy at night (I don't mean the roosters) but location was between our 2 favorite beaches (PMRF and Salt Pond). 5 miles away from Big Save (grocery), and several restaurants (steak house, bbq, pizza, Tiki Tacos). The "beach shack" was also convenient (bikes, boogi/body boards and other beach gear). This was the first time I didn't need to buy and leave boogi boards on the island. Overall, great VRBO.

Had high expectations, cute place, loved the outdoors space and shower! Beach was very close!! However there was no pool as was described and the inside was very hot!! We were only provided one fan that barely worked and exhaust fan that did not help much and was extremely loud. We had to go and buy a few more fans just to be able to go inside the bedrooms. Very cute and good value but an AC or more fans would be helpful! We ended up sleeping outside some nights as it was cooler outside!

This was our first time in Kauai - you would need to rent a car for sure. The drive was not too long to get to this location. You never know what to expect but as you pull to the driveway to feel a sense of coming home. The gardens are very well kept - the signs in the driveway are a cute touch. The best part is when you get inside - the coziness of this place is incredible. The quality of furniture / decor/ art - is well placed. The ocean is few mins away - best way to spend your first day relaxing on this ocean as it's not busy - feels very private. The sunsets are magical since you're on the west side. The hikes to Napali / Waimea Canyon are easy to reach since you're on the west side. We did a luau at the Hyatt which was quite nice. Book early if you want to get one in while you stay as it sells out fast! The east coast is definitely more tourist but worth the drive up north and east and visiting falls and small towns. Overall we loved everything about this home and would definitely come back again. If I can mention one or two things to improve would be better shampoo/conditioner and missing body wash as well - the iron needs a update. But again these are small things that didn't set us back in anyway. I forgot to mention the outdoor shower we used daily as well the bbq was nice change to eat outside. The beach gear definitely came in handy for all the beach stays - all in all for a family of 4 with teenagers - we all left feeling relaxed and raved about your lovely home.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Kekaha bungalow. The house had everything we needed, and was close to south side activities, such as NaPali tours and Waimea canyon . The house also felt home, with room for our family to spread out and relax, after our long days out adventuring. Thanks again for letting us stay!

We enjoyed this cozy house away from the busy tourist areas. It is a quiet neighborhood and as described very very close to the beach frequented by the local people; close drive to the canyon and the port.

This home was perfect for our family vacation. They supplied us with everything we needed. All we had to do was bring our own food. The location was great, very close to the beach. The home was better than I expected it would be. The pictures on the website, do it no justice. It is so much nicer than expected. The owners were very responsive when we called with questions. My son and his wife accidentally left behind their wedding rings and the housekeeper immediately notified the owners to call us. It was great to know that we have business to honest people. We would love to return and stay here again in the future.

Our time here was exceptional. The beach bungalow was *as advertised. We enjoyed the patio area during the evenings and our boys enjoyed playing catch with the football in the yard. The outdoor shower was awesome, in fact our boys actually showered outside one night because they could and loved it so much. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Thank you.

Great beaches good little restaurants like Wrangler and Grandma. Leave NY , LA and Europe behind and dive in the true Hawaii 🌺

Nice house in a residential area of Kekaha. Well equipped with all things you need both for indoor and outdoor fun. This house is close to the beach where you can go boogie boarding, jumping waves, or just relax. The hosts are very attentive to answering any questions you might have before your stay as well as during your stay. Great experience

We enjoyed our stay. Great home with everything needed for a wonderful trip. It does get very hot in the home during the day, but after it rains and in the evenings it is considerably cooler. We enjoyed the area.

My family of four loved staying at this property. It was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. It's location in a quiet (except for the roosters!) neighborhood a couple of blocks from the ocean is also an excellent place to explore the South and West Shore of the island, although the North Shore is a bit of a drive.

House was exactly as stated & pictured. So cute!!! Our family of four enjoyed our stay. Definitely room for 6, we didn’t use one of the bedrooms. House was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to cook our dinners & the washer & dryer are great! It was perfect for exploring the west side. Danise was super responsive. I loved falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean! I would definitely stay here again!

We all enjoyed our stay in Kekaha. What a lovely little town and nice neighbors. The house was clean and ready for our stay. The toilet in the laundry room. I called to report it, but no one came to fix it. We enjoyed the bikes and used them every day. I wish we had booked more days on Kauai, then on Oahu.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful rental while we vacationed on the south side of the island. Even though it’s a bit of a drive to get to swimming/snorkeling spots from Kekaha the sunsets were always beautiful. We also appreciated that it was close to Waimea Canyon for an easy morning get-up before the 45 min drive to the top. It made timing the weather super easy so we had great views while we were there. Speaking of weather, we really appreciated the fact that no matter where it was raining elsewhere on the island it always seemed to be dry here.
The house had everything we needed plus a whole lot more. There was plenty of beach gear and toys to keep the family occupied. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was a great place to cook breakfast every morning. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk down to the water (unfortunately not swimable) took just a few minutes. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here and would gladly stay again.

We loved our full week stay in Kekaha. The house was in a perfect location to explore the south shore of Kauai. It was very comfortable for our family of 4, in a quiet neighbourhood. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and there was plenty of beach gear to borrow. The owners were very responsive and accommodating to any inquires. We would love to go back soon!

Enjoyed this home with my family and really got a fun feel of life in west Kauai. The home was very clean and stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed the beach goodies in the shed as well as the outdoor space. We were very comfortable and will be happy to visit again! Thank you!

For our stay on Kauai, we chose a location on the SW side of the island. Out family enjoys hiking and being close to the Waimea Canyon was an important factor as well as the warm/sunny consistent weather. This rental provided everything we needed and is located only a block from the beach area. The patio area was great for evening grilling and happy hour time as we enjoyed the Hawaii weather in March. Jeff and Denise were helpful and very responsive with questions and concerns throughout our stay. I would recommend this property to others looking for a nice property rental to enjoy stay at Kauai. Thanks, Perry
