About this house rental
The 1905 parsonage once used for the church next door has been fully restored into a one bedroom one bath plus a cozy enclosed loft for you & yours to enjoy. She boasts a fully stocked kitchen & laundry room. Located a mile from Blue Bell Creameries, The Washington County fairgrounds & downtown Brenham’s main shops, she’s sure to please. Brew some sweet tea, swing on your porch & relax in your tranquil backyard. Note: this space shares a wall (no shared entry/yard) with an adjoining studio.
This home was a complete gut of a 1905 old parsonage. The attic has been outfitted as a loft with 4 twins. The downstairs bedroom is a full which has a small bathroom. Most shiplap remains including original teal ceilings. We have a full kitchen with 20 inch brand new retro appliances. There’s an air fryer, blender, crock pot, microwave, toaster, coffee pot & Keurig, washer & dryer. The parsonage has a nice size but not fully gated back yard. She boasts both front & back porches & a library in the loft to satisfy the pickiest of readers. This is a duplex and there is one shared interior wall but private entries/access.
The guest will enter off the main front black porch or back porch through a digital key pad. Parking is on the premises to the right side of the shared double driveway.
We like to give our guests maximum privacy but are only a phone call away.
Bluebell creameries & the Washington county fairgrounds are a short jaunt away. Take a 5 min stroll for fresh donuts for breakfast or circle K’s pecan coffee.
This house is a duplex & holds a small efficiency on the left side. To insure a meticulous stay; We charge a deep cleaning fee equivalent to the pet fee even if the guest brings a service pet.
Welcome to our Airbnb home! We want you to have a pleasant and comfortable stay with us. To ensure that everyone is happy and satisfied, we have established some house rules that must be strictly followed. Please take a moment to read through them before booking and make sure that you agree to them.
1. No Parties: Absolutely no parties are allowed in the house. This includes any gathering or event that involves more than the registered number of guests. This is not only for the safety of the house but also to respect our neighbors. If we receive any reports of parties, your stay will be terminated immediately, and a fine of $500 will be charged.
2. No Loud Music or Noises: Please keep noise levels to a minimum at all times, especially after 10 pm. Our neighbors enjoy peace and quiet, and we want to maintain good relationships with them. If we receive any reports of loud music or noise, your stay will be terminated immediately, and a fine of $200 will be charged.
3. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house or anywhere on the property. If we detect smoking in the house, a fine of $500 will be charged.
4. No Pets: Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets in the house.
5. No Unauthorized Guests: Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the house. Any unauthorized guests will be charged an additional fee, and you will be asked to leave.
6. Please dispose of your trash: Leaving trash and food inside the house will attract insects and rodents.
7. No Rearranging Furniture: Please do not move any furniture from its original position. If you do, you will be charged a fine of $100.
8. No Destruction of House Furniture/Items: Please treat the house and its contents with respect. If any damage is done to the house or its contents, you will be charged for repairs or replacements.
9. Be Mindful of Neighbors: Please be mindful that this is a duplex and you share a wall with tenants next door. Keep noise levels to a minimum, especially after 10 pm.
10. Ensure All Sliding Doors and Windows are Locked: Please ensure that all sliding doors and windows are locked before leaving the house for your safety and the safety of the house.
11. Clean After Yourself: Please clean up after yourself and leave the house in the same condition you found it. If excessive messes are left, a cleaning fee of $150 will be charged.
12. Park only in your designated spot.
We take these rules seriously, and failure to abide by them will result in fines and early termination of your stay. Very nice place. Don’t stay there if you have a very tall husband. It is adorably decorated. Very safe feeling. Cute extra touches make it feel homey. The owner is a great communicator.

This property was very nice and perfect for a quick weekend getaway. We had a local Baseball tournament, and the house was less than 3 mins from the ball fields, and less than 5 mins from downtown. The place was very well kept and provided a lot of space for the kids upstairs to play games and lounge. We will be staying here again in the future!
