The House
Renovated in 2015, this house was decorated by a Liège artist and benefits from a pleasant open living room, a terrace to enjoy the sunny days, 2 large bedrooms and a small one that can be used as a child's bedroom, office or dressing room. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the living room. Also has a closed garage and a space in front of the house allowing you to park a 2nd vehicle.
Access
Easy to access, the house is located close to major traffic routes (4 minutes from the motorway by car and 12 minutes from Guillemins station on foot). The living rooms are located on the 1st floor, the bedrooms on the second.
The neighborhood
Located in a cul-de-sac on the slopes of Cointe hill, between town and nature, the street is extremely quiet.
Cointe is a chic and quiet district of Liège, which is full of beautiful buildings.Walking around Cointe is very pleasant! You can also enjoy the Parc de Cointe, a large wooded park, ideal for walks and jogging, with a playground and tennis courts.
You will find some essential shops in the center of Cointe: mini supermarket, bookstore, pharmacy, snack bars, pizzeria, bakery, etc.
One of the attractions of the accommodation is that it is a 12-minute walk from the Gare des Guillemins with, in addition to its station shops, its large exhibition hall and its cyclists' center (bike rental). From the station, walk towards Rue des Guillemins, a very busy street which has everything to please you: bakery (we recommend the one in Eggen-Nols), butcher (we come from afar for the Boucherie Ardennaise), delicatessen (Maison Feugray, known for its oysters), bookstore, snack bars, small shops, supermarkets (Aldi and Carrefour) and restaurants (the “Concordia” is an institution).
Transportation
About ten minutes from Guillemins station and with a bus stop less than 400 m away, the house is accessible on foot and by public transport. The closed garage for one car and the additional space in front of the house can accommodate 2 vehicles.By car, it takes just 5 minutes to reach the highway, regardless of time and traffic.
