Welcome to Beamers' Dugout! Located in the Riverbend community of Lake Lure, this quiet and secluded in the woods cabin offers everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing vacation in the mountains. A covered porch with a comfortable patio set welcomes you into the cabin. 3 bedrooms and the open concept living, dining, and kitchen offer plenty of space for the family. Master bedroom with a King sized bed and an en-suite bath is located on the main level. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs - one with a Queen bed and another with a Full size bed and twin trundle bed. Second full bath is easily accessible from both upstairs bedrooms. A gas propane grill is located on the spacious back deck and awaits the grill master in you. There is a picnic bench near the grill that offers enough space for enjoying a meal outdoors. Additional outdoor seating is available near the sliding patio door by the kitchen. Just a short drive to the community lake, pavilion, and swimming hole, you can enjoy a day on the water. The basement offers space for the kids with a ping pong table, additional seating, and a big screen TV, as well as a trundle day bed with two twin sized mattresses. WiFi is available at the cabin.

NOTE: This home is located in a community that limits the amount of vehicles allowed to 2 vehicles. A mandatory non-refundable damage insurance policy fee ($59-$79 depending on the coverage) is applied to each reservation. This is a dog-friendly home. A $100 pet fee (plus tax) will be applied to your reservation if you plan to bring a dog with you. Maximum 2 dogs allowed. Pet Addenda must be signed. Dog(s) must be house trained. Sorry, no cats or other household pets are allowed. Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement at the time of booking.

In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, the VRBO/HomeAway Strict Cancellation Policy will apply.

Beamer's Dugout was the perfect fall getaway! We love the Riverbend area in Lake Lure because it is beautifully situated near Chimney Rock for hiking and shopping and close to nice a grocery store. This home was very "cabinesque" with rustic details and seasonal flair. The Dutch door to the basement was a genius addition! Our children and two furry babies spent most of the time there playing ping pong and other games. The back deck offered long distant views of the mountains from relaxing rockers. There were only 5 of us, but this place can easily support 8-10. Everything needed is available in the kitchen! Loved the small lit trees in the entry as a night light and Buck, the singing deer! Our family enjoyed returning from apple-picking at Stepp Orchard and hiking the Rock to relax with a home-cooked meal! Wonderful! Thank you!

The place is nice. Everything was clean. Pros: There is a lot of room. Deck is a nice size. Basement game room has lots to do. Neighborhood was nice, access to the river and lake. Cons: The driveway is not the easiest to use, nothing major just needed to do a 3 point turn to exit.

We loved the location of the property in the Riverbend neighborhood of Lake Lure. We were within 10 minutes of Ingles groceries and we needed to resupply x3 as we had some hungry family members since they took advantage of lake swimming, river tubing and hiking in the neighborhood. We also took a short trip to Chimney Rock for a little lunch and shopping. Great stay! Great vacation. Nice mountain views from the cabin.

Nice relaxing quiet cabin. Not far from chimney rock to go hiking and shopping. We enjoyed snow tubing as well. Cabin was perfect with ping pong table, dart board and pool table in the basement. Living area was spacious and the kitchen was big as well. Cabin had all the accommodations needed. Was perfect get away for our family.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful Lake Lure home. The house was very comfortable and set up for a large and/or multi generational family. The kitchen was well appointed and large enough for multiple cooks. The master bed is quite comfortable, though set up high (and I’m short) but there was a very handy step stool available. The master tub was a great choice for soaking after a long day shopping or hiking. We enjoyed our time here and would rent again.

Lovely time at this property- well stocked, clean and welcoming. Loved all the amenities, such as the huge family game room in the basement. All Spaces beautiful, tasteful, and comfortable! The kitchen was a dream with everything anyone would want in a fully equipped space💞💞💞💞

Great community, close to everything you want. Was our 3rd year in a row coming to lake lure. Cabin was super easy to access, clean, pool table and ping pong table were a huge plus. No issues at all. Would definitely stay again!

My wife and our 3 kids used the cabin over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The private beach in the gated community is only a short walk/drive down the hill. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and there is plenty of space for them to swim, although the beach itself gets crowded in the afternoon. The kitchen is well stocked and the propane grill was clean and in good condition. The bedroom in the master is on the main level and the mattress is very comfortable. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, both of which are in good condition and a great set-up for families with multiple children. We had fun using the ping pong table and dartboard downstairs. There are also board games and video games in the downstairs area, and washer/dryer if needed. The cabin is only 10 minutes or so from Chimney Rock Village. We also rented a pontoon from Lake Lure Adventure Company which is very close to the gated community. The cabin has a nice front and back porch with rocking chairs and provides some privacy even though there is another cabin right next door. There are not wide open breath-taking views from the porch, but you do have a glimpse of the mountains, can hear/see the birds, and there is plenty of space to hang out. The cabin is well furnished and in good condition, with high speed wifi. While there is not room for the kids to run around outside and play, with the location of the cabin there is plenty to keep you busy within a short drive - or its nice just to relax at the cabin. We were able to hike Buffalo Creek Park Trail which was just a few minutes away. The owners/managers also have a notebook with information on local restaurants, breweries, and recreation. The TV and cable work in the living room - as does Buck the singing deer! Bring your own kayaks or floats if you want to use them for the private beach. There is also a decent nature trail right near the private beach with a small waterfall and places for the kids to play in the water. The property managers were responsive and checking in/out was convenient. The ice maker was not working but this was the only issue all weekend and only a minor inconvenience - we didnt contact the owners/managers as we already had a bag of ice. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and look forward to coming back again.
