A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.
***Beach Notes***
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Queen owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to weather. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.
***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. This is VERY RARE for homes along the Cayman Kai Cove.

This was our 2nd trip to Grand Cayman - we first stayed at a resort on 7 mile beach. This time we wanted something a little quieter with a little more room and this was perfect. We (husband/wife/2 teens) stayed for a week in late June 2024. We loved being able to walk out of the door and directly down to the beach where we snorkeled, kayaked, and paddle boarded (we supplemented the included kayak with additional rentals).
Location - While it's not the middle of things like SMB, there are local restaurants that were great, plus we stocked up from the larger grocery stores and then supplemented with the local smaller market. While it's a bit of a hike from SMB and Georgetown, the tradeoff of relative quiet & chill vibe was much worth the longer drive. We still took trips to other parts of the island, but it was great to come back & watch some of the most amazing sunsets.
The Villa - The villa is beautiful - we found it clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of 4 to spread out.
The Beach - it's in sort of a cove, and we found we could kayak and paddle board pretty far out and still feel comfortable. Snorkeling we saw a variety of small fish, a few crabs, and even a lobster.
The checkin process was smooth and the few things we needed we emailed the caretaker and got a reasonably quick response.
We loved the area, the villa, and our trip. Highly recommend.

Everything about the property was perfect: amazing location right on the beach, the house has everything you need and the screen porch is the best! Definitely rent a car, do the stingray tour and have a meal at the Rum Point Beach Club. Already planning our 2025 return trip.

This is a beautiful part of the island on a nice calmer bay. The place is right on the water and the views are even better than the pics. The condo is very well furnished and was very comfortable for our family of 5 adults. We were extremely satisfied and loved being in close proximity to Cayman Kai, Rum Point, and Starfish point. This is a fantastic option for those wanting to be off the beaten path of seven mile beach. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful visit! The house was lovely and fit our needs perfectly for a family of 4 (2 teenagers). House and view was exactly as the photos depicted. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkeling daily. Dined at Kaibo and Rum Point multiple times. Starfish point and Bioluminescent Bay were great attractions. But overall most enjoyed the peacefulness of the house and location! Richard was great to work with!
Looking forward to returning!

The house was perfect for our family of 7. It was clean, nicely furnished and in the best location. We had the most wonderful time watching sunsets out front, relaxing and wishing we stayed longer than 6 days. All of us including children ages 5 snd 9 used the kayaks that were available, swam in the pool by ourselves and enjoyed the beautiful beach right out front of the house. The house is walking distance to the most beautiful sunrises, Kaibo Restaurant and the Ferry to Camana bay/7 mile beach. We will recommend the “Beach Pad” to our friends and family. Thank you Richard for being so prompt in responding to our texts and emails.

From the moment we booked until leaving the Caymans to head home, this property worked perfectly. Richard is excellent with communications, the home is beautiful, and the location couldn't be better for the 8 of us. The home was spacious, VERY well appointed, well thought out, and with beautiful views to accompany it. Richard has, I believe, thought of everything a guest in the Cayman Islands might need. I can't say enough good things and we'll be staying at the Beach Pad again next time we come back.

Property is nicer than pictures suggest. Everything is thought through and convenient. Beach is amazing. Really warm in April. Perfect place if you are looking for some privacy.

Perfect location right on the beach. Would come back here again for sure!! We snorkeled and used the kayaks from the beach every day.

We wanted a quiet away from all the cruise boat crowds to relax and the Beachpad didn’t disappoint on any aspects. The location is just place to stay for a quiet relaxing time time inside and out, yet close enough to walk (or kayak) to a few places to visit- Starfish point, Rum Point, and Bioluminescent Bay. The place was very clean and had plenty of towels and seats for everyone inside and outside on the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook and make dinners for our group of five. We brought our own snorkel gear and were able to see the local huge lobster that hangs out near the tubes in the swimming area right in front. We also used the kayaks just about every night to paddle out and watch the sunsets from the water, which our son loved doing. It was truly the best view and location for a quiet place to stay and relax and we would love to come back and stay again.

Five stars is not enough for the 'Beach Pad'. It was clean, spacious and well appropriated for 3 couples wanting to enjoy the relaxing side of the island. I cannot imagine a more perfect beach or a bay to Paddle Board, Kayak or Snorkel in. The 'locals' in the community are immediately welcoming and genuinely interested in helping you as best they can. We would suggest Tukka's restaurant on the East End, the Kaibo Beach Club luau (Tuesday night) and an excursion to Stingray City. We are already discussing when to return. (Shout out to MaryBeth for being so welcoming).

Short summary: Absolutely incredible, just book it!
This was not our first time to the island but it was indeed our most favorite thanks to the pristine home, amenities, and location. I feel incredibly lucky that we happened upon this listing and it was available for our week long stay. The house was very well appointed from furniture to the quality of the bed linens and towels; it’s just beautiful! Everything we could need had already been thought of and made available. The proximity to the beach and water (right outside the porch) simply cannot be beat. If you are a water lover (swimming, snorkeling, kayaking) you most definitely want to be here. Every morning, there were plenty of starfish and other creatures to be found (stingrays, conch, a myriad of fish, crab, lobster, and even a turtle one morning!) The provided kayaks were used every single day of our stay and so appreciated. There are plenty of beach towels in the house and chairs outside for all. The sunsets every evening followed by the most magnificent and clear skies made it all the more serene and paradise-like. On top of it all, Richard’s communication was very impressive from booking through the end of our stay which is something I greatly appreciated. I’ve already indicated to him that we will be back. It’s truly a special place and I highly recommend staying here!

This property was such a great location for us. It looked just like the pictures in the listing. It was very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Very spacious. What I really liked was the location. It was private and quiet. We used the kayaks everyday and snorkeled right in front of the villa. Many fish and starfish to see. We walked to starfish point as well as some local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. Kids loved it.

The condo was gorgeous and well appointed. We had a power issue on arrival, however Richard was very responsive and the problem was resolved.
