The Chapman House was built in 1900 and is one of 14 historic cottages constructed for the Biltmore Estate workers employed by Vanderbilt in the early 20th century. Designed by Robert Sharp Smith, his notable "Biltmore-style" buildings are a blend of English Arts and Craft and Elizabethan Tudor, giving it the look of a charming countryside cottage in an English village.

Please Note: This rental is pet-friendly with an additional fee, but only dogs under 50 lbs are permitted. This apartment-style unit is on the upper level of a historic home. The lower level is home to a business, All Souls Grotto, which is a craft cannabis and bottle shop. Keep in mind that cannabis products produce a unique smell that can sometimes drift upstairs. While we do have an air purifier set up in the home, travelers with smell sensitivity and asthma might not be the best fit for this one-of-a-kind vacation rental.
