This is our second time staying in this cabin. We absolutely love the location! Nothing better than sitting in the swing with a cup of coffee listening to the river running over the rocks. So peaceful. Only issue was the coffee pot leaked so we had to go buy a new pot.
We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Very relaxing trip in a comfortable cottage, with a stream right in your backyard. We loved sitting on the back porch, listening to the stream and enjoying nature.

The cabin was perfect for a quick 3-day getaway for my wife and son before school starts back. We enjoyed being right on the river where we could get in the water and also watch tubers going by. It was also conveniently located with restaurants, stores, and a gas station nearby. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay!

Been visiting Townsend for decades, mostly camping, but this cozy cabin was better suited for a weekend getaway with my 85-year old Momma. She loved listening to the Little River while rocking on the back porch and watching her Braves beat the Cubs on the "huge" TV. She was disappointed that we couldn't use the fireplace in the cool evenings--the knob was missing, and we didn't bring a set of pliers to turn the stem, haha.
Kitchen is adequate supplied for light cooking, and there are nearby options for eating out, whether burgers, country soul food, or steak/seafood.
Although it will sleep four, this cabin is better suited for two people due to lack of space for luggage (we pulled over two kitchen table chairs to set our luggage). Both the bunk and the queen bed were comfortable. Other guests have mentioned the small shower, but we had no problem with it, as neither of us are large people.
Overall, this is a great cabin and, hopefully, Townsend will remain the "peaceful side of the Smokies," so we can keep coming back.

My husband and I were thrilled with our stay here in Townsend. Everything about this rental was exactly what we were looking for! Perfect cabin, perfect location and the owner was a pleasure to work with. We definitely recommend staying here. We know we will stay again!!

My husband and I wanted to get away for just a couple of days without getting trapped in the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. This place was perfect. Just a one room cabin with plenty of space for he and I. Creek right outside was a great highlight.

We enjoyed our stay! Was perfect for the 3 of us. My husband, me and our 8 year old son. Such a beautiful area, we will be back!!!

The cabin was cute and it was clean. It was just the right size for one or two people . There are bunk beds, but I can't imagine staying there with more than the two of us. The bed was adorable and really comfortable.
There were only a couple of things we didn't like. The shower was super small. My husband and I both are 5'11 and about 180 lbs. It served the purpose, but it wasn't great. You can't flush the toilet or wash dishes if someone is in the shower (not a big deal). We have a travel camper and the shower in that is larger than the one in this cabin. The other thing is, there is no place to unpack your bags. If you're like us, and like to unpack your things while you stay, there is no way to do this as there is no dresser and only one bedside table. We did use the bunk beds to lay our things out.
Lastly, it would've been great to have more than one dishrag to use during our stay, but we found some at a local general store.
The location was great. It's very close to Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. The weather was warmer there in the valley than over in Gatlinburg. There are little shops and a grocery store less than 2 blocks away. The sounds of the river behind us made this cabin perfect! The back porch swing was perfect

The cabin looks cozy in pictures on the website, and when we arrived it more than met our expectations. Easy parking and very short distance to the front porch. Entry was seamless. The inside was well laid out, plenty of space to move about and the back door opens to a porch with two wooden rocking chairs and a swing. The river is shallow with a shoal bottom which creates a soothing sound. The cabin was extremely clean and everything worked properly. The checkout instructions were clear and posted in the cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning again soon.

We had very nice stay in this small but very well maintained house equipped with everything you might need for the comfortable stay. Location is excellent, close to the shops, restaurants and entrance to the park. At the same time you feel like being at the very secluded place when spend time at the porch, watching the river and enjoy the peaceful surrounding. Fire pit was a big plus for our family. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

We loved our time spent here! Only got to stay two nights, but it was just what the doctor ordered (literally!) for a stress-free, relaxing stay. The sound of the river was beyond blissful-would definitely recommend to others, and hope to return soon!

You can never go wrong with this place. The location, the cabin, the river and the access to all your needs were there. Thanks to Laura the owner, she were there the whole time when we need something. I cant further say enough, its just simply such an amazing place. Wow! Me and my wife got emotional on the last day of stay, we wish we can extend more days. Thank you for the memories.

This was our second time staying at this cabin. It's great for a small family, but the real magic is the river out back and the location in Townsend. Our family uses the cabin as a home base for playing in the river, visiting the GSMNP, or relaxing at one of the local brew pubs. The only complaint would be the poor quality of internet connection, but it's not too big a deal for us to have to disconnect. Another enjoyable trip!

One room cabin, but spacious. Three person family. Husband, wife, teenage son (who fit on bunk!- he’s tall!) lol bathroom is spacious. Little River runs right behind cabin- short - albeit steep- the all down to river. Cabin is not secluded if that is what you are looking for- cabins on each side BUT in the back yard you feel Secluded enough. Would stay again again 100% if we get the opportunity to visit Townsend again! Son and husband loved the fishing from back yard- and my son tubed river with local tubing company twice! Tubing- restaurants- ATV rental- grocery store all within a mile or two. Pigeon forge short drive as well. Cabin beds, love seat, and table with 4 chairs- all were comfortable. TV- we were able to login to our Netflix and Amazon fine. WiFi worked great. We grilled with charcoal and cabinets were stocked with dishes and cookware! Bring your own spices- salt pepper - oil- coffee filters. And shampoo and soap! Bring TP and paper towels if staying longer than a couple nights. ( we stayed two nights and had plenty) Cabin had plenty of plush towels for shower and plenty of trash bags and dish soap.

This is a very quiet clean cabin. The only thing that surprised me was not knowing they would bring more bathing clothes for showers We had enough towels but 3 cloths for two people just wasn’t enough

This is a great property if you want to visit Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, but not stay there. This property is beautiful (a river flows in back just like what's shown in the listing) and there is ample backyard space with a fire pit. It is easy to get to. Good privacy but not secluded (a plus!). The cabin is emaculately clean and the beds are most comfortable (I slept in the bunk bed). We had several glitches at time of check-in but the host cleared up the issues we had in a very timely manner. Unique shops can be found along the way when traveling into Pigeon Forge. I also highly recommend The Steak and Trout Resaurant just down on the road for dinner. If there is one negative, it would have to the water pressure in the shower. Overall, I rate this place a 9/10. Am recommending it to friends and would love to return.

Little trouble with fireplace but we kept trying and got on. low water pressure in shower. No sponge to clean dishes and no dishwasher. But with that said- the river was beautiful and we would stay again. Loved the sound and views of river and Townsend.

The cabin was located on the small river flowing through Townsend. Such peace swinging on the porch listening to the water rushing over the rocks!
It is a one room cabin with a bathroom. Very small shower but the outside view made up for it. There are 3 steps going into the front door and 4 steps onto the back porch if someone has trouble with stairs. The mattress was comfortable. The cabin is located near all the conveniences like gas, grocery stores and restaurants and not far from Cades Cove entrance.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!

We stayed in the neighborhood in another cabin last year. Very good location for ducking in and out of GSMNP near Cades Cove. Great cabin for just me and my wife. We hope to stay there again on a future trip.
