It’s an apartment in a basement, but it’s been beautifully redone and is not dark. There’s plenty of sunlight coming in. Very nice place for a couple to spend a weekend. There is a kitchen, but the only table is in the living room. The place is best for people who want to eat out. We really liked the neighborhood and we were able to walk to an overlook to see the sound.

Property was bright, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance to downtown Ballard, the locks and the bay. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place! Clean and cozy. Hard to find even with coordinates. A map to show route would be helpful but since we were arriving during the day it worked out.

The apt was in a wonderful location (albeit a bit hard to find). Very clean and well-stocked.

I stayed there with my wife for three nights. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect and need.
It is short distance from the shore which can be seen from the street level.
The bed was very comfortable and we had all the kitchen equipment and utensils you need to cook if you want to!
Parking was available on the street for free for the three days we stayed.
It is only 15-20 minute drive to Downton Seattle.
I highly recommend Top Banana Fresh produce seller at the end of the street, where we purchased the tastiest cherries and apricots I have ever had in the US.

Great quiet location. Close to some restaurants & coffee shop. Clean & comfortable for my husband & I. The owner responded quickly to our needs. Although we did not stay inside much we did enjoy our stay there & would come back again. If you’re an Elks club member it’s very close to the Elks lodge on the shore of Shilshole Bay.

This is a rare find that we'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Seattle. The place is a beautiful clean and modern apartment located in a basement, full kitchen with a gas range and pet friendly.
The place is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle to live like a local. You can take a walk to the marina to Golden Gardens beach, take the bus to downtown (the elusive 17x express or walk to the 40 bus on 24th Ave), walk to the Ballard locks or explore the brewery district. One block away from a cute corner with a coffee shop/restaurant and bars. Very close to Fremont (some POI: Troll, Gas Works Park, Lenin Statue).
Also, the hosts are great! They provided us with everything we needed and beyond. Thanks!

This is a quiet and private space within blocks of bars, restaurants, cafes, . . . We went for a run every morning and found the neighborhood well-kept and frequent views of the water lovely.
