Situated in one of the most stunning locations overlooking Thorpeness Meare, this spacious and traditional cottage is located in the heart of the village and is just a stone’s throw from all the attractions of Thorpeness. These include the famous House in the Clouds, the windmill, the Meare (a lake with rowing boats and kayaks you can hire to explore its many islands and even a pirate’s fort!), The Dolphin pub, golf club, tennis courts and, best of all, the beach!
Thorpeness Beach is just 350 yards from the property – perfect for lazing in the sun, catching up on some reading or taking a dip.
9 The Haven is an ideal home-from-home, with plenty both inside and out to occupy guests of all ages.
The ground floor consist of a well-equipped kitchen, with everything that you may need for preparing meals, and enjoys an open aspect into the dining area where guests can gather around the generously sized table to enjoy a celebration supper. A comfortable sitting area with gas effect wood burner is perfect for relaxing after a day out exploring the local area. Completing the ground floor is a shower room. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus four bedrooms – master with an en-suite, a double room and two twin rooms. Outside is a lawned garden overlooking the lake. The outside back garden offers a secluded dining area (seats 8), perfect for lunches in the sun and barbecues.
