The kitchen gracefully merges with the living area with two small steps, creating a unified space that encourages interaction and shared experiences. Settle down after a long day exploring the area, curl up and enjoy your favourite TV shows.
There are three bedrooms to choose from all being a sanctuary of comfort and style, boasting sumptuous linens, plush pillows, and tasteful décor. The master suite is a retreat unto itself, complete with a luxurious en-suite bathroom where you can pamper yourself and freshen up after a day exploring the area. The additional mezzanine cosy nook is a sanctuary for book lovers and those seeking a quiet escape. Ascending a short flight of stairs, you enter a space that feels like a hidden retreat within the room. The ambience is warm and inviting, with soft lighting that emanates from strategically placed lamps, casting a gentle glow over the area. In one corner of the nook, plush bean bags are scattered across the floor, providing comfortable seating options for those who prefer to lounge as they read. Nearby, a cosy chair beckons you to sink into its soft cushions and lose yourself in the pages of a captivating story.
Outside, a courtyard awaits, this is shared with the coffee shop and is used by them betwen the hours of 11.30am - 3.30pm. Out of these hours the courtyard has sole use to the family retreat, it offers the perfect spot to bask in the sunshine with a cup of freshly brewed coffee or unwind beneath the stars with a glass of wine. And when you’re ready to explore, the surrounding countryside beckons with its scenic trails, charming villages, and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Conveniently located in Grassington’s main square with shops, tea rooms and inns serving food.
Grassington hosts events around the year with the Summer Festival, 40’s weekend and Christmas markets. It has also provided the backdrop for all 5 series of ’All Creatures Great and Small’. The nearby villages of Kettlewell, Buckden and Linton also offer charming places to eat. Skipton, with its castle, bustling market and canal boats, is only 10 miles away. Historic Bolton Abbey on the River Wharfe is close by, as well as the scenic Settle-Carlisle railway over the Ribblehead viaduct. Slightly further afield is the town of Harrogate and the historic city of York.
