I and two friends drove in from Pittsburgh, Asheville, and Charlotte. Fayetteville was the perfect meeting place, and we found this house met our needs well. The home is in a great, quiet location and it was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I actually appreciated that there are no carpets or rugs. The host left very helpful notes throughout the house which clearly answered any questions. Our only suggestions for future enhancements would be the addition of some table lamps for reading (and ambience) in the evenings, more opaque window coverings in the bedrooms, and a full length mirror somewhere in the house. But those are minor points. We were very pleased overall. Thank you!!!

Great house, nicely decorated had all the amenities needed.
I think the only thing that could be upgraded would be the 2 main beds.
We have stayed in many VRBO rentals and the #1 thing we look for is a comfortable bed.
Other than the bed the house was wonderful.
comfortable bed.

Excellent property. The attention to detail was incredible and the house has been newly and expertly remodeled. The hosts communicated very well and provided so many extra touches. The little town of Fayetteville has a lot to offer as well. We will definitely come back!

225 Park Dr. was extremely clean. It was attractively decorated in a modern-rustic style. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. The laundry facilities were a bonus.
Everything at the property was well thought out and made our visit comfortable from the extra pillows and blankets to the well stocked toilet paper supply; the owner-supplied shampoo and soap; and the board games and lawn games. We made use of the backyard firepit and supplied wood.
We loved the location of the property. It was walking distance (about mile or so) to many restaurants and shops in downtown Fayetteville as well as quick drive (about 10 minutes) to New River Gorge. The park across the street had basketball courts, a playground and a walking path around the whole park - perfect for an after dinner stroll.
I have one complaint and one recommendation. I thought the thermostat was difficult to figure out. It was cool enough in the evening to open the windows and i was unable to figure out how to turn off the air conditioning. My suggestion would be to replace the queen bed with a king in the primary bedroom.
We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again.

The Park House is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Everything one would need. The park across the street is great to get in some exercise and let the children run off some energy. Shopping was close by. Mae was easy to contact and very pleasant. Would stay here again.

The Park House is a newly renovated home directly across the street from the local park. The house was very comfortable and were able to do a lot of cooking — they thought of everything! And the cute downtown area was easily walkable for the meals we didn’t want to fix ourselves.
The host was very hospitable and obviously a local who is (rightfully) very proud of the town and the areas. They reached out to help us make the most of our stay. One of my best VRBO experiences!

This house is on the edge of Fayetteville. The town is small so you are 3 to 8 minutes from anywhere by car. We ate out two nights and there are at least two solid restaurants in town.
The house is close to the New River Gorge Bridge. If you like hiking, the trail starts in the park across the street. You can go out and walk the one mile look, or venture out for 20 miles and nearly anything in between.
This is a roomy ranch house with a large kitchen and large back yard. We enjoyed some hiking, rafting, and the fire pit out back.
