Enkelt, sosialt sted. Gøy med egen Onsen.

Customer service was excellent.
Property location was great.
Their shuttle bus was very helpful.
Our toilet smelt like an old persons house (before we used it)

Nothing
- customer service bad. She didn't show at 2PM when check in and so cruel let me waiting checkin more than 3hours. Omg and she come with snack without saying sorry because she late. So we can check in at 4PM
- doesn't have pickup service. So bad
- the staff doesn't really help you. My boots was lost. She said she will help me to return. But i just know that boots was lost. And they are disorganized and not taking not. So everything was discomfort.

Very good location, especially if you intend on skiing/snowboarding at Happo-One. Within walking distance of a couple of good restaurants. Room was nice and warm! Room and bathroom were clean.
Room was out-dated and cramped. Bathrooms were incredibly small. Breakfast was ok, but they ran out of some of the food on certain days. The onsen was a huge disappointment. The entry way was crowded and did not have enough space for the shoes for all the guests. The ski room was too small and did not have a enough room for all the guests' equipment.

Located in a tranquil forest, the vintage hotel was very cozy and had a homey atmosphere. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel accommodated all of our requests (including ad hoc ones) and was very easy to communicate with. The breakfast was simple, yet hearty and tasty. The pick-up and drop-off services they provided made moving around Hakuba Village much less troublesome. The room was comfortable and while basic, came with everything one would need and expect.
The hotel is a bit remote so it's not recommended for people looking to stay near where all the popular restaurants, bars and shops are, although the hotel does provide drop-off service to the village centre. The restroom at the hotel lobby was a bit dirty but that was a small issue.

The support offered to me before and during my stay at the Hotel was beyond my expectations! I asked questions night and day and the hosted were always very willing to help me in any way they could. Very friendly, very sociable, courteous and always helpful. Just wonderful! It really helped make my stay one to remember. I also liked the onsen, the hotels location, the shuttle service, and the room with 3 single beds. One really nice thing was the hot pot event on Christmas eve, very generous serving size (we couldn't finish it!). The proximity of the Hotel to the snow is exceptional. In a good session, I believe it's ski-in, ski-out for intermediate to advanced skiers, and the Sakka lift is 2 or doors down the road.
The building itself is a little worn with a few odd stains but overall still in good condition. The sugar sticks are rock solid (not that that bother my daughter who loved that way). The clothes washing facility was a little difficult to operate since the machine's instructions were only in Japanese. The other I didn't like is that I couldn't stay longer!

No BF.
The room was very cold.

Excellent location. Staff friendly and accommodating. Anything you need, just ask the front desk and they'll help in anyway they can.
We were there close to a week, and unfortunately, the breakfast choices became boring after eating the same thing every morning.

Friendly staff. Very good location close to Happo One. Good reccomendation and a discount for rental gear.
A problem that arose during the stay was promptly resolved.
Shrtage of the personnel. No Yukatas in the room for Onsen. Basic breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Wadano Forest Hotel. Super clean facilities and the property has a great onsen, perfect after a day of skiing. The hosts are super knowledgable and know all the great local eats. I've stayed in a few different properties in Hakuba and for value for money, Wadano Forest was the best by far.

good value. friendly, helpful staff. well located for Happo One. Onsen.
Bar was not open due to staff shortages. No yukatas provided for the onsen. lounge and dining areas in a separate building.

Clean apartment; Staff are very helpful;
nothing major - some things to improve on
1. no place to dry clothes (dryer does not fully dry);
2. kitchen utensils are limited for cooking purposes.

Close to ski lift(ski in/out).

Joanie and her team were extremely hospitable. We have a large group (18 adults and 3 kids) but Joanie managed to accommodate all our requests such as pick-up and drop-off to ski resorts and gear rental / return. We also enjoyed the lounge and onsen in hotel, it was great to go to onsen and play switch / board game with friends in a cozy lounge after skiing. We had a great time and will come back again.
We occasionally see bugs and spiders in our rooms. This is acceptable given it's in the mountain area.

Staff were nice
The room we were staying in is very small (by small I mean it was just a bed and a small little toilet) and quite run down. It does not appear to be too clean too. Considering the price we were paying, we were expecting something like hotel but turns out more like a hostel experience).

Very clean properly, security is great as well! Very close to the Sakka slope, so awesome location if you plan to go to Happo!
It’s on the top of the slope so if it’s snowed heavily, it could get difficult to go up.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They drove, picked up and dropped us off at the ski slopes EVERY DAY. The hotel also has an onsen and a ski room. Everything u NEED for a ski holiday was well accommodated for.
We really needed a bedside lamp for the room. It was hard to unwind and relax at night without a lamp as the main lighting is too harsh. I also wish breakfast would serve warm oats.

Hotel staff were more than accommodating in taking you into town and dropping you at bus stops for the ski slopes. In saying that the bus stops are not a far walk at all.
Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable and not to mention had some amazing views!
Wadano has some amazing places to eat too.
Couldn’t recommend this enough!!

Joanie and her crew really did everything they can to make our stay such a rememberable one. The service was at such an outstanding level. They really do care for their guests, putting themselves in our shoes. Cannot thank you enough for the things they did for us.
The facilities were very well equipped and maintained. The food was delicious (breakfast and dinner, thank you Sai-san). The hotel itself was near a bus stop just a couple of minutes walk up hill which gives you easy access to the other resorts (like Goryu and Tsugaike) in the Hakuba Valley. The hotel also gave us a ride in the morning to places in the Happo area and picked us up in the afternoon.
A little far from the Happo free shuttle system, but the hotel drove us to the lifts so no problem.
