The resort grounds were very nice. Lots to do there in the summer. It was very chilly during our stay so couldn’t take advantage of the beach etc. Can’t wait to see it in warmer weather. I’d stay in our room again. Room 218. We had wrap around balcony.

First time staying around Thanksgiving. Easy drive across the river to top restaurants for a turkey day feast, Black Friday shopping and looking at Christmas lights on John's Island. Also drove to Isle of Palms for a delicious lunch at Acme Low Country Kitchen and a great snack and Frose at Co-op on Sullivan's island! Need to schedule next year to watch the Holiday Flotilla-- later in December.

Relaxing on the coast, listening to the waves at night, and having a sense of peace feels amazing. Everyone was so nice and attentive. It was just what my husband, fur baby, and I needed!

We were in the older building. Checked in to a small very dated room. Hot water didn’t work nor did the heat/air conditioning - they did fix it. One elevator was shut down and there was a temporary/forever extra set of buttons that looked not right. Beds were older. Would not recommend.

It was VERY noisy including some kind of work being done on Sunday morning before 7:00. That was a little annoying. The room itself was nice and comfy.

Well worth the price for the amenities you get. I highly suggest staying during the week as its cheaper and less crowded. Second time staying here and would absolutely stay again

I was there for 4 nights and didn't use any resorts amenities. This review is based upon the hotel stay. On arrival I wasn't even greeted by the front desk clerk. I had to say I'm here for my reservation. Got to the room and it was very warm. Turned in the AC to cool it down which never happened. The AC was broken. Was never told this at check in. Could have been moved to a different part of the hotel where it was working. It was fixed and worked for the remainder of the stay. Be upfront and tell you customer. Next thing the elevator went out of service. Was never told they were being repaired. Very bad communication. Lastly, and maybe it's just me, there was a very big soccer game in the same complex that I feel the hotel should have said something. If I was to wait another 15 minutes I would have been stuck in traffic for at least and hour. That was from the van driver. The only plus about this stay was the free round-trip transportation to downtown Charleston. My room was horrible. It was at the end overlooking the maintenance yard. Noisy and very bright. Now I know why I received an email every day for a week to upgrade my room. But not to tell me the elevator and HVAC are not working.

Stayed in the old building which is terribly maintained. Of course they tried to upgrade us for an extra $50 per night in the new building instead of repairing the original place. Elevator was out for entire 4 day stay, 2nd floor hallway smelled like a sewer, TV and fridge needed to be replaced, some outlets didn’t work. Pool was under repair and looked like it will be months before it can be used again.
There was a carpet at the entry of the hallway that was a trip hazard. The staff “fixed it” by putting a lantern on the corner of the carpet. I then watched a lady trip over the lantern. This place needs a reboot.

Both elevators did not work. Pool was empty even though charged $40 resort fee. Safe did not work. Room 234 is more of a garden view. Paid for a view of the harbor. On the plus side. Shuttle to historic district a real plus. Easy beautiful walk to Yorktown. Easy drive to Sullivan Island and the beach.

Great Stay. Bar was a little lacking. 10 bucks for a draft beer in a plasic cup. It also lacked any real ambience.
Great fire pit. Beach front and a pool.
Overall. Pretty Good. There is the 150 resort fee added onto room cost that is not shown on hotel.com app.

Loved the location, view was outstanding. One elevator needed service badly, expensive food and drinks. Easy drive to downtown, the islands. Overall great time but very expensive. The rate on your website was not reflecting the rates for each night.

The hotel location and staff were lovely.
My problem is with payment, hotels.com quoted and paid the entire amount and by check in already exceeded amount for my 2 nite stay! In the excess of 300 dollars!
I used hotels.com in order to secure the best rate, bought trip insurance with Expedia, to ensure NO mishaps for function on Sunday!! I don’t even know if you are affiliated with Expedia but linked to same website-
I had noooo intention on spending over 800 dollars on hotel that was to be 500 dollars
I would of stayed elsewhere

Nice location. Beds were a little soft for me. Room had some minor flaws but was clean. Wife loved it here. If ever in Charleston again, would stay here.

First room we got had a very strong weed smell. The rooms are old and need an upgrade. The bathroom was dirty and both the shower and sink were clogged. There was an awful noise each night in the room. Our first night we called for towels 2x and never got them. We had to physically go downstairs the next morning to get towels.

Room had holes in the sheet rock and marks all over the walls. The Ac unit was rusted and smelt when it would run.
