My reason for choosing this hotel was the POOL. Checked in and was disappointed to learn the heater was broke, so swimming in 59 degree water was not possible.
The guestroom, a corner king was tiny, but very comfortable. I was surprised as to how quiet it was even facing Colorado.
The lobby was just beautiful.
I’d probably stay there again, but only if the pool heater is working. I also had no heat in my room, it was in the 40’s at night.

Pasadena Hotel & Pool is a nice hotel in a good location. The only note is that the rooms are a bit small (it was my wife, my child, and me). But for solo or couples travel, the hotel rooms are probably fine.

The hotel is nice, good location close to downtown. The pool area is great as well as the lobby area. It does not provide breakfast or room service. To have your room clean you need to schedule the day before else they don’t do it.

For a “fancy” hotel the room lacked many amenities found at cheaper places. No way to make hot water, no refrigerator.
They tried to make it smell clean by using so much bleach it was almost cloying to stay in a room where the window did not open.

Too many hidden fees, pet fees-but with no designated pet area.

We booked a corner room as we usually like the balcony and bidet. But unfortunately it was not available when we arrived. The staff made accommodations but I would rather have had the corner room.

I stayed in 2 different premier rooms totaling a week. The first was nice. It had the ceramic bathtub. The second was run down. The caulking looked dirty. You can tell where they patched the carpet and couch. The bathtub is a plastic, jetted one. It had hair from the last person. I was disappointed none of the rooms offer coffee, tea or water considering it was $300/night for the room, fees and parking. They only service the room if you request it the day before. At night, there are homeless people outside the window shouting. The hotel didn’t create that problem. Just sharing so you’re aware of the surroundings. The pet fee was $75 per stay, cheaper than the $175 at near by hotels. Parking is $29/day. The pool looked beautiful even if I didn’t get chance to take a dip. The gym is one elliptical, three treadmills and some free weights.

The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and CalTech (which was the reason I stayed there). It's a historic hotel and beautiful with its court yard and the large pool. My room (an upgrade) was a corner room with a balcony, newly furnished, very nice. My only complaint was the lack of a coffee maker or water boiler. The hotel has a coffee bar that opens at 6:30am.

I really liked this hotel for its very old school lobby with lots of cozy and comfortable spaces and a quite active chess board going on at a community table. It was really cool.
My room was very comfortable and modern, with great access to charging outlets and a very comfortable bed.
One thing I found a little silly was the room lighting scheme and controls. They managed to make a really simple idea more complicated than it needed to be. It was actually somewhat difficult to have a fully lit room.

Close to our destination. I do have one gripe, the TV/cable kept blinking out. Not sure if the reason but it did it the whole time.

Location is great. Staff were great. Love the decor of the lobby. I had no concerns.

The soundproofing here is terrible; I can even hear the snoring from the room next door. The cleaning service isn’t daily, and even when I requested it at the front desk, they didn't clean the room. After staying for four nights, I was charged over 1,000 dollars extra, supposedly for some service fees, but I haven’t seen the bill, and they didn’t send it to me.

The location was perfect and quiet. Convenient and close to restaurants, museums, and city hall for pictures. Easy check in and safe parking. The bar and lounge was super cute to hang out and have a drink before going up to our room to rest.

Stayed here a few times and always the same level of great service. The staff is very nice and accommodating. A variety of places to eat nearby. Definitely love staying here.

An elegant historic hotel with a fantastic pool, lobby, and patio area. There were several cafes and eateries within a block's distance. The food options within the hotel ,however, were limited. No in-room coffee maker.

Beautiful facility that provides a vacation within its walls. We travel often and this hotel is a top 5 for us.

This tucked away hotel offers an appealing lobby reminiscent of a cigar bar but less stuffy

The staff at this hotel were helpful, no complaints about the service. The location isn’t bad, there are a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. However, the rooms are small and oddly designed (dark, mismatched decor, no basic amenities like coffee machine or soap). Overall, not the worst hotel experience but definitely not the best. The cost of the rooms is not worth what is offered.
